Bulevardi (Swedish: Bulevarden, Boulevard) is a boulevard in Helsinki, Finland. It starts at Erottaja and ends at Hietalahdentori. The majority of the boulevard is located in the western part of the Kamppi neighborhood and a small part of Punavuori. Restaurants, cafes, and art galleries line the street. The Alexander Theatre and Sinebrychoff Museum of Art are located on Bulevardi.

The Old Church of Helsinki (Finnish: Helsingin vanha kirkko, Swedish: Gamla kyrkan i Helsingfors), designed by Carl Ludvig Engel and completed in 1826, is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Helsinki. The oldest existing church in central Helsinki, the church was originally planned as a temporary building as the Ulrika Eleonora Church constructed in 1727 had become too small for the congregation and the new church, Helsinki Cathedral, would not be completed until 1852. However, the city's rapid population growth from the early 19th century onwards ensured that the church would remain needed, and also necessitated the construction of many other churches.

Ressu Upper Secondary School (Finnish: Ressun lukio), also known internationally as Ressun lukio IB World School, is a secondary school (or gymnasium) located in central Helsinki, Finland. Founded in 1891, Ressu is one of the oldest Finnish speaking schools and considered to be one of the most prestigious schools in Finland. Ressu is one of the most difficult upper secondary schools to gain entry to in Finland, with admission typically requiring grade point averages above 9.3 on the Finnish scale of 4.0 (the lowest) to 10.0 (the highest). Students in Ressu have a reputation of moving onto illustrious careers in further education, in a range of top universities both in Finland and abroad. The current principal is Ari Huovinen.

Elias Lönnrot is a monument in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, by a Finnish sculptor Emil Wikström, unveiled in 1902.The bronze and granite monument is situated in the Southern Helsinki Kamppi neighborhood on Lönnrotinkatu street, in front of Ressun lukio in small Lönnrot's Park.

Punavuori (Swedish: Rödbergen) is a neighbourhood in the center of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The name Punavuori (English: Red mountain) refers to red cliffs located between Sepänkatu and Punavuorenkatu. They were still visible in the 19th century, nowadays they are covered with buildings and pavement. Punavuori was traditionally a working-class neighbourhood, today it is known as a bohemian district popular among artists, students and hipsters. It is one of the most densely populated areas in Finland. After the new location and growth of Helsinki in the 18th century, Punavuori became the area next to the center. During the 19th century the district had a seedy reputation. Most of the brothels and beerhouses were found in Punavuori. The social problems were aggravated by quickly built rent-apartments for the poor. After World War II, the district went through a process of gentrification. Today Punavuori offers many trendy small shops and bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Important streets include Uudenmaankatu and Iso Roobertinkatu. In the old Helsinki slang, the district is called "Rööperi" (derived from the district's Swedish name).

Iso Roobertinkatu (Swedish: Stora Robertsgatan), meaning "great Robert street" is a street running northeast-southwest in the Punavuori district in Helsinki, Finland. Its shorter east-west counterpart Pieni Roobertinkatu ("little Robert street") is located near it in Kaartinkaupunki. Both streets are named after Robert Henrik Rehbinder (1777-1841). Iso Roobertinkatu is among the best known pedestrian and shopping streets in Helsinki. In the southwest the street, unlike other streets in Punavuori, does not extend to Telakkakatu or the sea shore but instead ends at the Sinebrychoff Park with stairs leading from the end of the street onto the cliff at the park. At the western end of the street a very short street called Kivenhakkaajankatu ("stonemason street") branches off to the left, ending at the intersection with Punavuorenkatu. In the northeast Iso Roobertinkatu reaches to Yrjönkatu, east of which it continues under the name of Pieni Roobertinkatu, but not exactly in the same direction. The Swedish names for Iso and Pieni Roobertinkatu were taken into use already in 1820. The Finnish names were Ropertin Suurikatu and Ropertin Pikkukatu ("Robert's great street" and "Robert's little street", respectively) in a 1866 map, and in the 1890s the names were changed to Iso and Pikku Robertinkatu, made official in 1909. The Finnish spelling of the names was fixed in 1928.Reserving Iso Roobertinkatu mainly for public transport and pedestrian traffic was first proposed at different boards of the city council of Helsinki in the 1950s. The part of Iso Roobertinkatu between Fredrikinkatu and Yrjönkatu was converted into a pedestrian zone after the city council approved a change in the zoning plan in May 1983. Helsinki's first proper pedestrian zone was opened on Iso Roobertinkatu on 14 September 1985.Streets crossing Iso Roobertinkatu include from east to west: Yrjönkatu, Annankatu, Fredrikinkatu, Albertinkatu and the short street Kivenhakkaajankatu, leading from the end of Iso Roobertinkatu to Punavuorenkatu running in the same direction. At the start of the street is the 1995 modern sculpture Viheltävä helsinkiläinen ("the whistling Helsinkian"), donated by sculptor Björn Weckström to the city of Helsinki.

The Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall is the first and oldest public indoor swimming hall in Finland. It was inaugurated on 4 June 1928, and it took a long time until a second indoor pool was opened in Finland. The pool is located in the Kamppi area of Helsinki at Yrjönkatu 21b, and is owned by the city of Helsinki. The hall building was designed by architect Väinö Vähäkallio and represents the Nordic Classicism style. It was inspired by the Centralbadet swimming hall in Stockholm. The hall was originally privately owned, but was transferred to the Finnish Sports Federation in 1954 and to the city of Helsinki in 1967. The hall was renovated from 1997 to 1999.The Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall's first floor contains a 25 × 10 metre pool, two saunas and dressing closets at the edges of the pool. The second floor contains resting cabins, saunas and a café. The hall sells two kinds of tickets, providing access either to the first floor only or to both floors. Traditionally, people swam naked in the pool, but since 2001, the wearing of a swimsuit has been permitted. Men and women have separate days for swimming. In March 2012, the hall reported it was switching its original 1928 wooden sauna stove to a new one to cut down on the smoke damages to the Forum building. The new wooden sauna stove became operational in August 2013. It is 2.8 metres high and is thought to be one of the largest wooden sauna stoves in Finland.

The Helsinki Finnish Methodist Church (also known as the Helsinki Finnish Methodist Congregation; Finnish: Helsingin metodistiseurakunta; Finnish: Helsingfors finska metodistförsamling) is a Finnish Methodist congregation in Helsinki, Finland. It belongs to the Finnish Methodist Church and was founded in 1894. The current congregation building is located in the Punavuori district of Helsinki. The congregation regularly organizes bilingual worship activities; mission circles, Bible evenings, moments of prayer and youth evenings also meet regularly in the congregation.Helsinki also has another, Swedish-speaking Methodist congregation.

Amos Rex is an art museum named after publisher and arts patron Amos Anderson located in Lasipalatsi, Mannerheimintie, Helsinki. It opened in 2018 and rapidly reached international popularity, attracting more than 10,000 visitors in a matter of weeks.

The Finnish Security Intelligence Service (Finnish: Suojelupoliisi, Supo; Swedish: Skyddspolisen), formerly the Finnish Security Police, is the security and intelligence agency of Finland in charge of national security, such as counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior. The agency had a distinct role during the Cold War in monitoring communists as well as in the balance between Finnish independence and Soviet appeasement. After the 1990s, Supo has focused more on countering terrorism and in the 2010s, on preventing hybrid operations.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Helsinki is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Finland. It is located on Mannerheimintie in the Kamppi neighborhood of central Helsinki, beside the Hotel Marski and across from the flagship Stockmann department store. Although the current embassy dates from 2024, the Philippines also maintained a previous resident embassy in Finland between 2009 and 2012.

Hotel Marski (or Marski by Scandic) is a hotel opened 1962 on Mannerheimintie 10 in Helsinki, Finland. The hotel was built by Alko-owned Arctia Oy and the nine-storey building with strip windows was designed in 1961 by architect Einari Teräsvirta. The hotel was housed in a residential building built in 1877 by Nikolai Kiseleff and designed by F. A. Sjöström. The name Marski (as well as the street name along which the hotel is located) refers to Marshal Mannerheim.Hotel Marski was opened on February 1, 1962. At that time, the hotel had 58 rooms located on the sixth and seventh floors of the house. On the lower floors was the restaurant, the department store Otra, which was reached by escalator, and the office space of the Kansallis-Osake-Pankki (KOP). The eighth floor was leased to the oil company Shell. The number of hotel rooms increased in the 1970s and 1990s as the hotel expanded into other buildings in the block. The furniture designers of the hotel and restaurant included Ilmari Tapiovaara.Hotel Marski was a meeting place for Finland's political elite for a long time, and President Urho Kekkonen, among others, was a regular guest. Until the 1980s, the building housed the M-Club, which was only open to club members. In addition, the building housed the Helsinki International Press Club, founded by the Helsinki Newspaper Association in 1962 or so-called Press club.In 2010, the property was purchased by Valio Pension Fund, with Alko Pension Fund as the seller. The hotel then had 222 rooms. The hotel was renovated between 2018 and 2019 and reopened in early summer 2019. The hotel now has a total of 363 rooms.Kahvila 7.01, a cafeteria located on the street level of the hotel, is named after Mannerheim, known as a regular man; Mannerheim reportedly wanted to drink his morning coffee at exactly one minute over seven in the morning.
