Bosung Girls' High School (Korean: 보성여자고등학교) is a private girls high school located in Yongsan-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Operation Killer was the start of the second major counter offensive launched by United Nations Command (UN) forces against the Chinese Communist People's Volunteer Army (PVA) and the North Korean Army (KPA) during the Korean War between 20 February and 6 March 1951. The offensive was formulated by General Matthew Ridgway with the goal of annihilating enemy forces south of a line designated the Arizona Line. The operation was immediately followed by Operation Ripper.

Yongsan High School (Korean: 용산고등학교) is a public school in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the few public schools in Seoul with boarding facilities.

Changdeokgung (Hangul: 창덕궁, Hanja: 昌德宮; literally, "The Palace of Prospering Virtue"), also known as Changdeokgung Palace or Changdeok Palace, is set within a large park in Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1897). As it is located east of Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeokgung—along with Changgyeonggung—is also referred to as the "East Palace" (동궐, 東闕, Donggwol). Changdeokgung was the most favored palace of many Joseon kings and retained many elements dating from the Three Kingdoms of Korea period that were not incorporated in the more contemporary Gyeongbokgung. One such element is the fact that the buildings of Changdeokgung blend with the natural topography of the site instead of imposing themselves upon it. Like the other Five Grand Palaces in Seoul, it was heavily damaged during the Japanese occupation of Korea (1910–1945). Currently, only about 30% of the pre-Japanese structures of the East Palace Complex (Changdeokgung together with Changgyeonggung) survive.

The N Seoul Tower (Korean: N 서울타워), officially the YTN Seoul Tower and commonly known as Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower, is a communication and observation tower located on Namsan Mountain in central Seoul, South Korea. The 236-meter (774 ft)-tall tower marks the second highest point in Seoul.Built in 1969, the N Seoul Tower is South Korea's first general radio wave tower, providing TV and radio broadcasting in Seoul. Currently, the tower broadcasts signals for Korean media outlets, such as KBS, MBC, and SBS.

Camp Coiner is a former 55-acre (220,000 m2) United States Forces Korea installation located on the northern part of Yongsan Garrison located in Seoul, South Korea. It was named after 2nd Lieutenant Randall Coiner assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment of the 7th Infantry Division who was posthumously awarded the Silver Star for actions taken in 1953 during the Korean War near the village of Sokkagae. Camp Coiner is located within the Yongsan-gu district of Seoul. East of the camp is the commercial district of Itaewon, with westernized shopping and nightlife. To the west of Yongsan is the Samgakji subway station and Yongsan Electronics Market. Prior to the US military taking control of the camp from the Imperial Japanese Army, Camp Coiner was used as a garrison for a horse drawn artillery units. Currently closed as a result of the US Forces Korea base consolidation, Camp Coiner was once home to: - Headquarters and elements, 8th Personnel Command - elements of 8th MP Brigade - HHC, 1st Battalion, 501st Aviation - HHC, 4th Battalion, 58th Aviation - elements of 1st Signal Brigade - Headquarters, Contracting Command - Korea - Eighth Army Reception Center - Morning Calm Dining Facility - Headquarters, ROK Army Support Group - Headquarters, 24th Korean Service Corps - numerous unit Enlisted barracks, Bachelor Officer Quarters, and unit motor pools

The Namsan Public Library is a library located in Yongsan-gu near Mt. Namsan of Seoul, South Korea. Since its establishment on October 22, 1922, during the Japanese occupation, the library has owned a variety of resources encompassing from ancient historic books, Japanese books to contemporary digital technology books.The main users of the Namsan public library are adults. Also, Namsan public library offers a special room for children of multicultural families.

Chōsen Shrine (Korean: 조선신궁, Hanja: 朝鮮神宮; Japanese Hepburn: Chōsen Jingū) was the most important Shinto shrine in Korea from 1925 to 1945, during the period of Japanese rule. The famous architect and architectural historian Itō Chūta, also responsible for Meiji Jingū, contributed to its planning.

Hanyang Park (Korean: 한양공원; Hanja: 漢陽公園) was a public park in Seoul (Keijō), Korea that existed between 1910 and 1919 at the northwest side of the mountain Namsan.

Nam Mountain (pleonastically Namsan Mountain or Mount Namsan, lit. "South Mountain") is a 262-meter (860 ft)-high peak in the Jung-gu district of south central Seoul, South Korea. Although known as Mongmyeoksan, or 목멱산 / 木覓山 in the past, it is now commonly referred to as Mt. Namsan. It offers some hiking, picnic areas and views of downtown Seoul's skyline. The N Seoul Tower is located on top of Mt. Namsan. The mountain and its surrounding area is Namsan Park, a public park maintained by the city government, which has panoramic views of Seoul. It is also the location of a smoke signal station called Mongmyeoksan Bongsudae' (Mongmyeoksan Beacon Tower, Hangul: 목멱산 봉수대), which was part of an emergency communication system during much of Seoul's history until 1985. From 1925 to 1945 the Shinto shrine known as Chōsen Jingū was situated on Mt. Namsan.In 2011 a survey was conducted by Seoul Development Institute, which included 800 residents and 103 urban planners and architects. It ranked Mt. Namsan as the most scenic location in Seoul by 62.8 percent of residents and 70.9 percent of the experts surveyed.The park and the fountain were used as the filming location for Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS)'s drama Lovers in Paris.Namsan is mentioned in the second verse of South Korea's National Anthem.

Itaewon Books (Korean: 이태원북스), formerly Itaewon Foreign Bookstore, is a secondhand bookstore in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea that specializes in English-language books. Founded in 1973, it is the oldest English-only secondhand book store in Seoul. It is a designated Seoul Future Heritage, and has remained a family business. By 2024, it was run by the daughter of the founder. It opened in 1973. It was founded by Choi Ki-woong; Choi continued to operate the business even by 2011. He had been trading books since the 1960s, although then without a storefront. He gathered texts he could find that were in English, including American department store catalogues, novels, and magazines. He sold them to bookstores in Seoul. He used a handcart for transporting the books. In 1985, the store moved locations. A 2024 article reported that Choi's daughter Choi Mi-ra was the owner of the business.
