Holmdel Dutch Reformed Church is a historic church at 41 Main Street in Holmdel Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The Greek Revival building was constructed in 1838 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Today, the church building houses offices for Weichert Realtors.

Upper Meeting House of the Baptist Church of Middletown (also known as Holmdel Community Church of the United Church of Christ) is a historic church at 40 Main Street in Holmdel Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It was the first Baptist church congregation in New Jersey. The Holmdel Community Church congregation was formed as a result of a twentieth century merger between the Middletown Baptist Church and the Dutch Reformed Congregation. The Baptist congregation was founded in 1688 by Baptists from Rhode Island and was known as Upper Meeting and it shared a minister with Lower Meeting, the other Baptist congregation in the area, which is now known as Old First Church in Middletown. The first church building on the current site of Holmdel Community Church was constructed by the Baptists in 1705. The current church building was constructed in 1809 (with later additions) and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The Dutch Reformed congregation was originally located nearby and was founded in 1699. It was previously known as the Middletown Church of the Navesink, and later as the Dutch Reformed Church of Freehold and Middletown.

The Bell Labs Holmdel Complex, in Holmdel Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, functioned for 44 years as a research and development facility, initially for the Bell System and later Bell Labs. The centerpiece of the campus is an Eero Saarinen–designed structure that served as the home to over 6,000 engineers and researchers. This modernist building, dubbed "The Biggest Mirror Ever" by Architectural Forum, due to its mirror box exterior, was the site of a Nobel Prize discovery, the laser cooling work of Steven Chu.The building has undergone renovations into a multi-purpose living and working space, dubbed Bell Works by its redevelopers. Since 2013 it has been operated by Somerset Development, who redeveloped the building into a mixed-use office for high-tech startup companies. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Historic Longstreet Farm is a living history farm in Holmdel, New Jersey. The farm is only 9 of 664 acres within Holmdel Park. In 2021, Holmdel Park received 1,096,379 visitors, while Longstreet Farm received 102,522 visitors. It is operated by the Monmouth County Park System. Today, the farm is a recreation of rural life in Monmouth County as it was the 1890s. Staff dresses in period clothing, while performing the daily and seasonal agricultural and domestic activities of a resident of the time period, such as planting and harvesting of crops, taking caring of the livestock, etc. Admission and parking are free.The farm is open all year from 10am to 4pm, with extended hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The farm offers multiple activities for children through various programs, summer camps and events. The farmhouse is open weekends and holidays from March to December from 12pm to 3:30pm. Across the street, there is the Tenant House, which housed the workers of a tenant family and is today used for staff offices. The Holmes-Hendrickson House, built in 1754, is a museum operated by the Monmouth County Historical Association.

Brookdale Farm is a former Thoroughbred breeding and training farm located at 805 Newman Springs Road in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Thomas Lloyd acquired the property in the late 18th century. In 1872, David Dunham Withers established the horse breeding and training operation. By 1889, the farm included 838 acres (3.39 km2). In 1968, 215 acres (0.87 km2) of the farm were bequeathed by Geraldine Morgan Thompson to the county to create Thompson Park.

Holmdel Township is a township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located near the Raritan Bay within the Raritan Valley region, the township is a bedroom community of New York City in the New York Metropolitan Area.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 17,400, an increase of 627 (+3.7%) from the 2010 census count of 16,773, which in turn reflected an increase of 992 (+6.3%) from the 15,781 counted in the 2000 census.Holmdel Township was formed by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 23, 1857, from portions of Raritan Township (now Hazlet). The township is notable, among other things, for its historical and present connection to Bell Labs. Important evidence for the Big Bang was discovered using the Holmdel Horn Antenna at a Bell Labs facility by Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, both of whom won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their work here. In addition, former Secretary of Energy Steven Chu earned a Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on laser cooling in Holmdel.Holmdel's picturesque beauty, proximity to New York and main highways, award-winning public schools, large homes, rich history, the PNC Bank Arts Center, and the presence of many high paying jobs within commuting distance led the township to be ranked the #1 "Six-Figure Town" by Money magazine and CNN for 2009.The township has been one of the state's highest-income communities. Based on data from the American Community Survey (ACS) for 2013–2017, Holmdel Township residents had a median household income of $155,842, ranked 10th in the state among municipalities with more than 10,000 residents, more than double the statewide median of $76,475. Based on data from the 2006–2010 ACS, Holmdel had a per-capita income of $62,120, ranked 46th in the state.

Holmes–Hendrickson House is located in Holmdel Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1754 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 26, 1978. The house is one of several houses owned and operated as a historic house museum by the Monmouth County Historical Association. It is open seasonally.

The Kovenhoven House or Corneles Couwenhoven House is located in Holmdel Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1699 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 26, 1974.

Holmdel Park is located in Holmdel Township, New Jersey and is part of the Monmouth County Park System. The initial park land was established in 1962, with an additional 227 acres (92 ha) section added in 2001. Holmdel Park is also the home of the Holmdel Arboretum; aka David C. Shaw Arboretum and the Longstreet Farm, a living history farm set in the 1890s. The park is a popular destination for local elementary school trips and cross-country runners. In August 2017 it was announced that a further 71 acres (29 ha) was being donated. In 2018, it obtained an additional 52 acres of land.

Holmdel Arboretum (9 ha / 22 acres), also known as the David C. Shaw Arboretum, is an arboretum located in Holmdel Park, on Longstreet Road in Holmdel Township, New Jersey. The arboretum is open daily without charge. The arboretum was established in 1963 with 87 trees, and is administered by the Monmouth County Shade Tree Commission with the Monmouth County Park System. It now contains nearly 3,000 trees and shrubs, representing hundreds of species, cultivars, and varieties, including the Jane Kluis Memorial Dwarf Conifer Garden, a collection of true cedars (Cedrus) in honor of David Rossheim, and a variety of other plantings such as weeping Atlas cedar, cherry trees, Amur cork tree, crabapples, bald cypress, dogwoods, fir, weeping Ginkgo, hawthorns, holly, linden, osmanthus, weeping pagoda tree, pine, spruce, etc. A map at the entrance identifies the major plant collections.

Christian Brothers Academy (also known as CBA or "The Academy"), located in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township, New Jersey, is a private, all-boys preparatory school for grades nine to twelve, with a focus on Christian education. The school is run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, founded by St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle. Christian Brothers Academy was originally a farm owned by the prominent Whitney family of New York City, and home to their renowned Greentree Stable. The land was eventually given to the Christian Brothers for the purpose of teaching. The school opened for the first time in September 1959 and was blessed by the Bishop of Trenton on October 11, 1959. Christian Brothers Academy operates independently from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton and is governed by a board of trustees. As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 876 students and 66.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.3:1. The school's student body was 83.4% (731) White, 10.2% (89) Hispanic and 4.5% (39) two or more races, 1.5% (13) Asian, 0.5% (4) Black.The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1967.

The Colts Neck School District is a comprehensive community public school district serving students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Colts Neck Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of three schools, had an enrollment of 955 students and 116.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.2:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.The district includes three schools and an administration building. The three schools are based on a PreK-2, 3-5, and 6-8 grade configurations. The Conover Road Primary School, the newest of the three, serves grades PreK-2. The Conover Road School currently serves grades 3-5 and has a functional capacity of 420 pupils. The Cedar Drive School currently serves grades 6-8 and has a functional capacity of 479 pupils. The district's preschool handicapped program is also housed in the Cedar Drive School.Students in public school for ninth through twelfth grades attend Colts Neck High School, along with students from portions of Howell Township. The Freehold Regional High School District serves students from Colts Neck Township, Englishtown, Farmingdale, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Howell Township, Manalapan Township and Marlboro Township. As of the 2020–21 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,316 students and 91.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.4:1.
