Aaron Winters House

Franklin Township was a township that existed in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States from 1771 until 1926. Franklin Township was established by Royal Charter on June 1, 1771, when Saddle River Township was subdivided. The Township was named after the colonial-era Governor of New Jersey William Franklin, the illegitimate son of Benjamin Franklin. By 1755, about 100 families lived in the Franklin Township area. Pompton Township was formed from portions of the township on April 10, 1797, ultimately becoming part of Passaic County when it was created on February 7, 1837.On April 9, 1849, Hohokus Township was created from the northern part of Franklin Township and extended from the Saddle River on the east to the western boundary of Bergen County with Passaic County and north to the New York border. On March 30, 1876, Ridgewood Township was created, consisting of the easternmost third of what remained of Franklin Township.Franklin Township was further subdivided with the creation of Midland Park (September 6, 1894), Oakland (April 8, 1902) and Franklin Lakes (seceded March 11, 1922). The size of Franklin Township decreased as areas seceded and were incorporated as independent municipalities.After Franklin Lakes was established, Franklin Township consisted only of the area known locally as Wyckoff. On November 2, 1926, residents voted in a referendum (243 positive votes out of 337) to change the name from Franklin Township to become the Township of Wyckoff.

The Albert Pulis House is located at 322 Pulis Avenue in the borough of Franklin Lakes in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic stone house was built around 1805, according to architectural evidence. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 9, 1983, for its significance in architecture. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).According to the nomination form, it has not been determined if Albert Pulis built the house, but he was living here in 1861. The property was sold to John H. Abram and Christian Carlough in 1881. The one and one-half story house has two entrance doors.

The Blauvelt House is located at 205 Woodside Avenue in the borough of Franklin Lakes in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic stone house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 8, 1985, for its significance in architecture and exploration/settlement. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).According to the nomination form, the house was likely built by a member of the Blauvelt family in last quarter of the 18th century, based on historical evidence. It was owned by John Blauvelt by 1876.

Van Koert-Winters House, is located in Franklin Lakes, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 24, 1984.

The Van Voorhees-Quackenbush House, known colloquially as the Zabriskie House, is located in the township of Wyckoff, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The original stone house was built c. 1740 by William Van Voorhees and enlarged in 1824 by Albert Van Voorhees. The original section of the house is now the dining room and part of the kitchen. The home was purchased in 1867 by Uriah Quackenbush. His granddaughter Grace Quackenbush Zabriskie bequeathed the home to the Town of Wyckoff in 1973. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983.

The historic stone house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 9, 1983, for its significance in architecture. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).According to the nomination form, Peter and Margaret Pulis Winters owned the house in 1833. It was later owned by William M. Courter, an American Civil War veteran, in 1876.

Sicomac is an unincorporated community located within Wyckoff, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The first known human inhabitants of the area were the Lenni Lenape Native Americans who lived north of the Raritan River and spoke a Munsee dialect of Algonquian. The Hackensack and Tappan Indians spoke the Unami Lenape dialect the distinct difference between Unami and Munsee us Unami used the letter R along with its sound such as Chief Oritam; the Munsee language did not have the letter R or sound in the language, according to the anthropologist Evan Pritchard. Sicomac, said to mean "resting place for the departed" or "happy hunting ground", is an area of Wyckoff that, according to tradition, was the burial place of many Native Americans, including Chief Oratam of the Ackingshacys, and many stores and buildings there are named after the area's name, including Sicomac Elementary School. Most Native Americans had left by the 19th century, although a small group lived near Clinton Avenue until 1939. It has also been interpreted as black fish.

Built between 1986 and 1992, the buildings serve as the corporate and divisional headquarters of the Becton, Dickinson (BD) medical technology company. Designed by the architecture firm Kallmann McKinnell & Wood, the complex has won numerous awards for its unique modern design.

Reformed Dutch Church of Wyckoff is a historic church at 580 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The church was built in 1806 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 17, 2003. Reformed Dutch Church of Wyckoff is currently incorporated as The Wyckoff Reformed Church.

The Van Gelder House was a historic house at 347 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The house was built in 1730 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983. It has apparently been demolished.
