İBB GOP Halit Kıvanç City Stadium (Turkish: İBB GOP Halit Kıvanç Şehir Stadı) is a football stadium of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (Turkish: İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi, İBB) at Gaziosmanpaşa (GOP) district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is named in honor of Halit Kıvanç (1925–2022), sports journalist, radio and television presenter, humorist and writer. The stadium's pitch is artifitial turf, and has the dimensions 68 m × 105 m (223 ft × 344 ft). Its capacity is 5,000 seats. It is the home ground of the Super Amateur Leagues clubs Gaziosmanpaşaspor and some other local clubs. The Women's Super League club Beşiktaş J.K. play their home matches here from September 2023 on.

Alibeyköy Cep Bus Terminal (Turkish: Alibeyköy Cep Otogarı), is Istanbul's second most used bus terminal, behind Esenler Coach Terminal. The bus terminal was opened in January 2014 and is further away from the city. The terminal is on the European side of Istanbul in the Eyüpsultan district. The terminal had 108 platforms when it was built, but its number was increased to 110 in 2018. On average around 700–800 buses go in and out every day. The management of the bus terminal is done by ISPARK. BELTUR also has a cafe in the terminal.

The Fil Bridge (Turkish: Fil Köprüsü), also known as Silahtarağa Bridge (Turkish: Silahtarağa Köprüsü) is a 38 m (125 ft) long, concrete bowstring bridge that crosses the Alibeyköy Creek in Istanbul, Turkey. The Silahtarağa Power Station (Turkish: Silahtarağa Elektrik Santralı) was a coal-fired generating station located in Istanbul Turkey. The Ottoman Empire's first power plant, it was in use from 1914 to 1983. The site has since been converted into a university campus for the Istanbul Bilgi University and houses two museums and several facilities. It was refurbished and renamed SantralIstanbul in 2007.

The SantralIstanbul (Turkish: Santralİstanbul), opened in 2007, is an arts and cultural complex located at the upper end of Golden Horn in the Eyüp district of Istanbul, Turkey. The center, consisting of an energy museum, an amphitheater, concert halls and a public library, is situated within the Silahtarağa campus of Istanbul Bilgi University that was formerly the first power station of the Ottoman Empire. Arts, cultural, educational and social buildings of SantralIstanbul, having an area of 118,000 m2, are all housed in the facilities of the former Silahtarağa Power Station, which served from 1914 to 1983 for supplying Istanbul with electric power. The site is named after the Turkish word "santral" for power plant.

Semystra (Ancient Greek: Σημύστρα) was a town of ancient Thrace. Dionysius of Byzantium wrote that there was an altar of the nymph Semystra there, whence the name of the town. Semystra was a nymph, she nurtured the Keroessa, who was the daughter of Io and Zeus. Dionysius added that Semystra nearly became a big city during the Greek colonization, since the leaders of the colonization tried to found the city, but during the sacrifices, a crow snatched one of the thighs from the middle of the flames and carried it to the Bosporion promontory. The rest of the Greeks saw this as a sign from Apollo and went to the spot were the crow left the thigh.Its site is located at the head of the Golden Horn in European Turkey.
