Creighton University

The Creighton Sports Complex is a baseball and softball venue located on the campus of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is home to the softball team, members of the NCAA Division I Big East Conference, and former home of the Creighton University baseball team. The baseball team moved to TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in 2011. The facility opened in 1988 and has a capacity of 2,000 at the baseball diamond and 1,000 at the softball diamond. Both fields are surfaced with synthetic turf.

The Heider College of Business (formerly known as the Creighton University College of Business) is the business school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Opened in 1920, it offers degrees in accounting, economics, finance, international business, marketing, management, and business intelligence and analytics. The Heider College of Business was named #2 for Return on Investment for Business Schools, as rated by Payscale.com in 2013. The Heider College of Business is located in the Harper Center building on Creighton's campus. It is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.400 graduate students annually complete degrees in Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Master of Science in Investment Management and Financial Analysis. The dean of the Heider College of Business is Anthony Hendrickson.The Creighton University College of Business was renamed to the Heider College of Business on October 23, 2013 to acknowledge donations from Charles F. Heider and Mary C. Heider of Omaha. This made the college the first named school at Creighton University.

The Joslyn Art Museum, commonly referred to as the Joslyn, is a fine arts museum in Omaha, Nebraska, the largest in the state. It opened in 1931 at the initiative of Sarah H. Joslyn, in memory of her husband, businessman George A. Joslyn. Since its opening, the museum has gone through several expansions, the last of which was completed in 2024. It is the only museum in Nebraska with a comprehensive permanent collection, comprising over 12,000 objects, including nineteenth and twentieth-century collections of American and European art, Western American Art, Chinese and Japanese art, as well as contemporary art. The Joslyn is home to the Margre H. Durham Center for Western Studies, established in 1980, which stewards two of the most important collections of works by Western artists Karl Bodmer and Alfred Jacob Miller in the country.

Creighton Stadium was an outdoor American football stadium in the midwestern United States, located on the campus of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. At the southeast corner of North 27th and Burt streets, it was the home field of the Creighton Bluejays of the Missouri Valley Conference. Constructed in 1924, and opened 97 years ago in 1925, it was a concrete stadium in the shape of an oval, but lacked enclosed end zones. Asymmetric, the larger grandstand on the south sideline was single level and included the press box, while the north grandstand had a second deck, bounded by Burt Street. After several seasons, lights were added, between the field and the running track. The football field had an unconventional east-west alignment at an elevation of approximately 1,050 feet (320 m) above sea level. Located at the northwest corner of campus, the present-day North Freeway (U.S. Route 75) is immediately west of the site. Like many colleges during World War II, Creighton put its football program on hiatus after the 1942 season; the final varsity game was at home against Tulsa on November 21. Bluejay football was not resumed after the war, but the stadium was used for track competitions and ROTC drilling for the next two decades. It was demolished in the 1960s and the site where it stood is now occupied by the Criss research buildings of the Creighton University School of Medicine.In addition to college athletics, the stadium hosted religious and community affairs, as well as rodeos.

Omaha Central High School, originally known as Omaha High School, is a fully accredited public high school located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is one of many public high schools located in Omaha. As of the 2015-16 academic year, Omaha Central had an enrollment of 2,552 students.The current building, located in Downtown Omaha, was designed by John Latenser, Sr. and was built between 1900 and 1912. It is the oldest active high school building in the city.

The Creighton University School of Medicine is the graduate medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, and grants the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. It was founded in 1892. A new satellite campus opened in 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, becoming the first Jesuit medical program west of Omaha. All matriculating students complete preclinical coursework in Omaha, and 42 third-year students complete their clinical rotations in Phoenix, with elective options at both campuses during their fourth year. In 2017, the new primary teaching hospital will be Bergan Mercy Medical Center. Both are affiliates of CHI Health, a division of Catholic Health Initiatives. For the class of 2018, Creighton received 6771 applications and interviewed 649 students for its total class sized of 155 matriculants. The average GPA for admitted students was a 3.77, with an average MCAT of 30 (10 VR/10 PS/10 BS). The current class consists of 75 (48.4%) males and 80 (51.6%) females.

The Northern Natural Gas Building, also known as the 2223 Dodge Street Building, is a 260 ft (79 m), 19-story high-rise building located in the Park East neighborhood of Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States. As of 2013, the building is home to an apartment complex called the Highline. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. The building was built in the early 1950s as a six-story building for Northern Natural Gas. The building was later expanded in 1958 with the addition of a fifteen story high-rise. After Northern Natural Gas's merger with Houston Natural Gas, the building was used as the headquarters for Enron until 1986. After Enron moved to Houston, Texas, the building was used as a regional headquarters for the company until 1990.

Scoular (), formally The Scoular Company, is a corporation based in Omaha, Nebraska dedicated to the buying, selling, storage, handling, and processing of grain, feed and food ingredients. The company was founded in 1892 by George Scoular and was owned by the Scoular family until its purchase in 1967 by Omaha businessman Marshall Faith, who served as CEO for the next 23 years. At the time of Faith's purchase Scoular had 10 employees and operated three grain elevators, but grew considerably over subsequent decades and is one of the largest grain storage and handling companies in North America. In 2021, Scoular ranked 16th on FoodTalks' Global Top 40 Plant Protein Companies list.Scoular employs approximately one thousand people at 24 offices and 90 storage, handling, and processing facilities, mostly in the United States. In 2017 Scoular reported $4.3 billion in sales and more than one billion bushels traded.Minneapolis-based data analytics company DTN began as a subsidiary of Scoular in 1984, later separating into an independent company led by founder Roger Brodersen.

The Omaha Scoular Building is a five-story commercial use building located in the Park East neighborhood of Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. It was designed by LEO A DALY in 1924 for the Knights of Columbus and was completed in 1927. The building was first renovated in The early 1970' by Northern Natural Gas Co/Internorth-when the building was restored--the olympic sized pool and gym were restored, the entrance was moved from the south side of Dodge Street to the west side of the building, and office space changes were made throughout. The original ballroom was changed to an auditorium--and with the changes to the entrance, the original cornerstone was opened and reviewed. This building served Northern Natural Gas/Internorth thru 1987 at which time, the Company relocated to Houston, Texas as Enron. The changes outlined following in this writeup were not the original renovations and the above information should be noted as being correct..... -1988, when a new glass lobby with marble staircase was added. Other features that were added in the 1988 renovation included new corporate offices, new tenant space, a trading floor, and a full service ballroom. A private health club that includes a track, 25-yard indoor pool, and exercise room was added to the lower floor. Renovations were again done in 2006 to the 3 floors the Scoular Company occupies.
