Bishop Lucey Park is a public park located between Grand Parade and South Main Street in the centre of Cork in Ireland. It is one of few green spaces in the city centre and among the largest. It is often erroneously known as "The Peace Park" by locals, although this name actually refers to the area next to the River Lee at the junction of Grand Parade and South Mall where the National Monument, and the memorials to World War I and the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings are located.

The Counting House is a mock-Tudor building located on South Main Street in Cork city, Ireland. Constructed in 1919 on the site of the Beamish and Crawford brewery, as of 2022 the building is undergoing works to re-purpose it as an event centre.

Grand Parade is one of the main streets of Cork city, Ireland. It runs from South Mall in the south to St. Patrick's Street/Daunt Square in the north, with intersections with Oliver Plunkett Street, Tuckey Street, Washington Street, Augustine Street and a number of pedestrian-only lanes in between. The Irish name of the street, Sráid an Chapaill Bhuí ("Yellow Horse Street"), comes from a time when there was a statue of King George II on horse-back at the junction with South Mall. The location of this statue is now occupied by the national monument.

Sir Henry's was a bar and nightclub on South Main Street in Cork, Ireland. It was founded by Jerry Lucey in 1978. The name was derived from Henry O'Shea, a baker and building owner in the South Main Street area of Cork city. The club was known for its house, trance, R&B, hip hop and regular live rock concerts. Gigs held there included a number by The Golden Horde, Toasted Heretic, Sonic Youth with support band Nirvana, Therapy?, The Wedding Present and The Fall. During late 1980s, the club ran a series of three-night long acid house weekenders, which attracted DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Shades of Rhythm and Justin Robertson. From the mid 1990s the music tended towards deep house. Henry's closed in June 2003 and the building was demolished soon afterwards.

Cork Courthouse (Irish: Teach Cúirte Chorcaí, Sráid Washington) is a judicial facility in Washington Street, Cork, Ireland. It serves as the Cork Court Office in civil and family related matters, while the courthouse on Anglesea Street deals with matters of crime. It operates on the level of both the District and Circuit Courts. The courthouse occupies the entire block between Washington Street, Liberty Street, Cross Street and Courthouse Street.

The English Market (Irish: An Margadh Sasanach) is a municipal food market in the center of Cork city, Ireland. It stretches from Princes Street to the Grand Parade, and combines Princes Street Market and Grand Parade Market. The market is regarded for both its mid-19th century architecture and locally produced artisan food. The market has become a tourist attraction, has developed an international reputation, and has been described by chef Rick Stein as the "best covered market in the UK and Ireland".

Griffith College Cork is an independent, third-level, higher education institution which merged with Skerry's College Cork in 2005. Griffith College Cork runs degree and diploma programmes in Business, Law, Computing, Media & Journalism, Pharmaceutical Management, and Professional Accountancy as well as evening courses in Marketing Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management and Digital Marketing. Pharmaceutical Management is an MSc in International Pharmaceutical Business Management (QQI - Level 9). It will be offered on a full and part-time basis. All the undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses are validated by QQI and a number of them require application via the Irish CAO system. Full-time undergraduate QQI level 6, 7 & 8 courses were also validated to receive tax relief under the Irish Governments 1997 Act.In August 2009 Griffith College Cork moved from its Patrick's Hill buildings to a new location on Cove Street, Sullivan's Quay, Cork, Co. Cork. In 2014 the college moved to its new, permanent location occupying the former Marymount Hospice on Wellington Road, overlooking the city.

Elizabeth Fort is a 17th-century star fort off Barrack Street in Cork, Ireland. Originally built as a defensive fortification on high-ground outside the city walls, the city eventually grew around the fort, and it took on various other roles – including use as a military barracks, prison, and police station. Since 2014, the fort has seen some development as a tourism heritage site, reportedly attracting 36,000 visitors during 2015. The walls of the fort have been accessible to the public on a regular basis since September 2014.

Huguenot Cemetery was created between 1710 and 1733 as a cemetery for the Huguenot inhabitants in the city of Cork. It is believed to be one of the last two surviving Huguenot graveyards in western Europe.

Ichigo Ichie is a Japanese kaiseki restaurant in Cork, Ireland. It was awarded a Michelin star for 2019.The restaurant name alludes to the Japanese idiom Ichi-go ichi-e (一期一会), literally "one time, one meeting", reminding people to cherish any gathering that they may take part in, citing the fact that many meetings in life are not repeated. Even though the host and guests may see each other often socially, one day's gathering can never be repeated exactly. The phrase “ichigo-ichie” has two parts: “ichigo” means “one life” and “ichie” means “a one-time encounter.” And so this is often translated as “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” This phrase originated with the tea ceremony, where it expresses the feelings of the host to show sincere hospitality towards guests.
