Ostankino Television Technical Center (Russian: Телевизионный технический центр Оста́нкино им. 50-летия Октября) is a television studio and technical center in Moscow, Russia for Channel One Russia. The center provides ongoing technical support to multiple broadcasters in the country.

Teletsentr (Russian: Телецентр) is a station of the Moscow Monorail. It is located in the Ostankinsky District of the North-Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow. The station is called after the Ostankino Technical Center (Телецентр «Останкино») which is located nearby together with Ostankino Tower.

Butyrskaya (Russian: Бутырская) is a Moscow Metro station of Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line. It is located between Maryina Roshcha and Fonvizinskaya, at the intersection of Rustaveli Street and Ogorodny Proyezd, close to Ostankino railway station. It has one island platform. The name of the station derives from Butyrsky District and is thus related to the Butyrka prison and Butyrskaya Street. The extension of the line from Maryina Roshcha northwest to Petrovsko-Razumovskaya via Butyrskaya and Fonvizinskaya was originally planned to be opened in December 2015. The projected opening date was later shifted to 2016. The station was opened on 16 September 2016.

Seventh Heaven (Russian: «Седьмое небо», romanized: Sedmoe nebo) is a three-level revolving restaurant in the Ostankino TV Tower in Moscow, Russia. The restaurant consists of three halls: "Bronze", "Silver" and "Gold", occupying three separate floors at altitudes of 328–334 m (1,076–1,096 ft) above the ground. The total area of the halls is 600 m2 (6,500 sq ft); the width of each of the three halls is 2.5 metres (8 ft 2 in). The maximum capacity of each level is up to 80 people. Reservations are required.

Ostankino Tower (Russian: Останкинская телебашня, romanized: Ostankinskaya telebashnya) is a television and radio tower in Moscow, Russia, owned by the Moscow branch of unitary enterprise Russian TV and Radio Broadcasting Network. Standing 540.1 metres (1,772 ft), it was designed by Nikolai Nikitin, Pyotr Gorchakov and Yuri Kondratyuk. As of 2022, it is the tallest free-standing structure in Europe and 12th tallest in the world. Between 1967 and 1974, it was the tallest in the world. The tower was the first free-standing structure to exceed 500 m (1,600 ft) in height. Ostankino was built to mark the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. It is named after the surrounding Ostankino district of Moscow.

Ostankino Palace is a former summer residence and private opera theatre of Sheremetev family, originally situated several kilometres to the north from Moscow but now a part of the North-Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow. Extant historical Ostankino includes the main wooden palace, built in 1792–1798 around a theater hall, with adjacent Egyptian and Italian pavilions, a 17th-century Trinity church, and fragments of the old Ostankino park with a replica of Milovzor folly.

Ulitsa Milashenkova (Russian: Улица Милашенкова, English: Milashenkova Street) is a station of the Moscow Monorail. It is located in the Butyrsky District of the North-Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow.

Fonvizinskaya (Russian: Фонвизинская) is a Moscow Metro station of Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line. It is located between Butyrskaya and Petrovsko-Razumovskaya, at the intersection of Milashenkova Street with Fonvizina Street and Ogorodny Proyezd. It has one island platform. Ulitsa Milashenkova station of the Moscow Monorail is located close by. The name of the station derives from Fonvizina Street, which in turn was named after Denis Fonvizin, an 18th-century Russian playwright. The extension of the line from Maryina Roshcha northwest to Petrovsko-Razumovskaya via Butyrskaya and Fonvizinskaya was originally planned to be opened in December 2015. The projected opening date was later shifted to 2016. The station was opened on 16 September 2016.

Marfino District (Russian: райо́н Марфино) is an administrative district (raion) of North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. It is 8 km north of Moscow city center; to the east is Moscow's Central Botanical Gardens and the Ostankino Park. To the west is Butyrsky District. The area of the district is 2.7 square kilometers (1.0 sq mi). Population: 34,500 (2017 est.)

North-Eastern Administrative Okrug (Russian: Се́веро-Восто́чный администрати́вный о́круг, romanized: Severo-Vostochny administrativny okrug), or Severo-Vostochny Administrative Okrug, is one of the twelve high-level territorial divisions (administrative okrugs) of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 1,359,508, up from 1,240,062 recorded during the 2002 Census.

The VDNKh weather station is the principal weather station in Moscow, Russia. It opened in 1948 on the grounds of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre. Temperature and precipitation readings at VVC weather station form the official weather reports and historical statistics. The station's World meteorological organization classification index is 27612.

The Tsitsin Main Moscow Botanical Garden of Academy of Sciences was founded in April 1945, and claims itself to be the largest botanical garden in Europe. It covers a territory of approximately 3.61 km², bordering the VDNKH Exhibition Center, and contains a live exhibition of more than twenty thousand different species of plants coming from various parts of the world. The garden also has a scientific research laboratory and contains a rosarium with twenty thousand rose bushes, a dendrarium (arboretum), an oak forest with the average age of the trees exceeding 100 years, a Japanese garden and a greenhouse of more than 5000 square meters.
