Sangnoksu station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4. The station is located in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is located between Banwol station and Hanyang Univ. at Ansan station. Its station subname is Ansan Univ.Sangnoksu means "Evergreen Tree". The station, just like its Sangnok-gu neighborhood, is named after the book Sangnoksu (1935) by Sim Hun.

Hanyang University at Ansan station (Korean: 한대앞역) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 4 & the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is named after the city's ERICA campus of Hanyang University. Unlike the name of the station, Hanyang University is not right in front of the station. Hanyang University shuttle buses stop in front of the station. Buses usually take students from the station to the university every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. It takes about 10 minutes from the station to the ERICA campus.This station was the planned southeastern terminus of the section of the Suin Line; it became a transfer point between Line 4 and the Suin Line when construction on the Suin Line was completed in 2019. Opening was delayed until autumn 2020, when it became part of the Suin–Bundang Line.

Jungang Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, South Korea. Its substation name is Seoul Institute of the Arts. It is a busy station located close to the Ansan Express Bus Terminal.The Sinansan Line will connect Jungang Station to Yeouido Station in 2023.

Several higher learning institutions are located in Ansan. They include Ansan University, Shin Ansan University, Seoul Institute of the Arts, and the ERICA campus of Hanyang University. The Korea Transportation Safety Authority, a government agency, has also been headquartered in Ansan since June 3, 2002. With its high number of foreign workers, Wongokbon-dong has been designated as a multicultural area. In 2021, Ansan was selected as the largest residential area for foreigners and it is seeking designation as a special multicultural city. Street play festival is held every year in Ansan.

Sangnok-gu (상록구) is a district of the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The name "Sangnok" is came from the name of famous Korean novel Sangnoksu (meaning "evergreens"), written by Sim Hoon in 1936.

Gojan Station is a commuter train station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, Korea. It is the closest station to Ansan Wa~ Stadium. Its station subname is Korea Univ. Ansan Hospital, as it is located nearby the station. The word "Gojan" originated as "inside of cape".
