The Krak House (Danish: Kraks Hus) is a Neoclassical property overlooking the square Nytorv (No. 17) in the Old Town of in Copenhagen, Denmark. It takes its name after the publishing house Kraks Forlag which was based there for many years. The Danish Centre for Culture and Development, a self-governing institution under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is based in the building.

Nytorv 15/Rådhusstræde 2 is a Neoclassical property situated at the corner of Nytorv and Rådhusstræde in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It consists of two separate buildings, the corner building from 1797 (Nytorv 15/Rådhusstræde 2) and an eight-bay building from 1798 (Rådhusstræde 2B), now connected by a narrow modern infill. Former residents include jurist, writer and publisher Jacob Just Gudenrath (1657–1825), actors Stephan and Eline Heger, theatrical painter Edvard Lehmann and portrait painter hristian Frederik Christensen (1805-1883).

The Copenhagen Court House (Danish: Københavns Domhus) is a historic building located on Nytorv in Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally built as a combined city hall and courthouse, it now serves as the seat of the District Court of Copenhagen. Inaugurated in 1815, it was built to the design of Christian Frederik Hansen in Neoclassical style.

The Jens Lauritzen House is a Neoclassical property at Nytorv 7 in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. Home to the Association of Folk High Schools in Denmark, the building is now also known as Højskolernes Hus (English: The House of Folk High Schools).

Kompagnistræde 32 is a Neoclassical property situated on Kompagnistræde, between Rådhusstræde and Hestemøllestræde, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. Built with three storeys over a walk-out basement by Andreas Hallander in 1799, it was later expanded by one storey in the 1840s. A brewery was operated in a rear wing from its construction until at least the 1860s. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1968. An adjacent warehouse (Kompagnistræde 30) and the rear wings are not part of the heritage listing. The Danish Union of Teachers was headquartered in the building from 1957. The union is now based at nearby Vandkunsten 12 but their old headquarters is still owned by them and let out as office space.

Nytorv (English: New Square or New Market) is a public square in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with the adjoining Gammeltorv it forms a common space, today part of the Strøget pedestrian zone. The square is dominated by the imposing Neoclassical façade of the Copenhagen Court House, which from 1815-1905 also served as the City Hall.

Rådhusstræde 1/Brolæggerstræde 13 is a Neoclassical property overlooking Nytorv-Gammeltorv from its location at the corner of Rådhusstræde and Brolæggerstræde in the southeastern corner of the square, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was constructed by Andreas Hallander as part of the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1795 but owes its current appearance to a comprehensive renovation undertaken in 1851 for lawyer Carl Liebenberg. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918. Former residents include the politician Christian Colbjørnsen, physician and former director of the Danish West India Company Johan Friedrich Heinrich and composer W.H.R.R. Giedde. Posthusteatret, a combined theatre and art cinema, is based in the basement.

The Frisch House (Danish: Frischs Hus) is a Neoclassical property overlooking the square Nytorv (No. 5) in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was designed by the artist Nicolai Abildgaard although it has later been expanded with an extra floor. A room on the first floor features four Abildgaard paintings with scenes from Voltaire's Le Triumvirat.

A new, third City Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark, was built at Gammeltorv in 1479. Rebuilt by King Christian IV into the Renaissance style in 1610, it was in use until 1728 when it was destroyed in the first Great Fire of Copenhagen. It was replaced by a new city hall which was built on its foundations the same year.

A new, fourth City Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark, was built between Gammeltorv and Nytorv in 1728 on the foundations of its predecessor which had been destroyed in the first Great Fire of Copenhagen earlier that same year. In 1795 it was itself destroyed in the second Great Fire of Copenhagen and later replaced by the new combined city hall and courthouse at Nytorv which was completed in 1815.

Rådhusstræde 3 is a Neoclassical property located in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1939.

Rådhusstræde 6 is a Neoclassical property situated at the corner of Rådhusstræde and Kompagnistræde, betweenGammeltorv-Nytorv and Gammel Strand, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was constructed by Andreas Hallander, one of the most active master builders in the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1795.The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1964. Notable former residents include the politicians Johan Nicolai Madvig and J.A. Hansen . Later acquired by the Danish Union of Teachers, it housed the Danish School Museum from 1995 to 2008.
