Saddle Rock Grist Mill is a historic grist mill building located in Saddle Rock, a village in the town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, New York. It is a 2+1⁄2-story gambrel-roofed structure. Adjacent is a stream-fed millpond that is supplemented by tidal water impounded by the dam. It dates to the 18th century and is the only extant, operating tidal grist mill on Long Island. The building underwent restoration in the 1950s and is operated as a local history museum.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

As of the 2018–19 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,172 students and 105.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. Founded in 1928, it is the oldest synagogue in Great Neck.As of 2009, it had a membership of 875 families. Since 2009, the senior rabbis have been Meir and Tara Feldman. Their cantor is Adam Davis. Their cantor emerita is Lisa Hest, the mother of singer-songwriter Ari Hest.

Little Neck Bay is an embayment in western Long Island, New York, off Long Island Sound. Little Neck Bay forms the western boundary of the Great Neck Peninsula, the eastern boundary of which is Manhasset Bay. The political boundary between Nassau County and the borough of Queens runs through the bay, bordering the neighborhood of Douglaston–Little Neck.

The Ben Rebhuhn House was built in Great Neck Estates, New York in 1937. This home is the only home on Long Island designed by Frank Lloyd Wright at the request of Benjamin and Anne Rebhuhn, publishers of progressive content. This house is similar to the Ernest Vosburgh House in Grand Beach, Michigan, except that this house is in the Usonian style while the Vosburgh residence, built 21 years earlier, was in the Prairie style. The house follows a cruciform plan. The house features a two-story living room and is built from tidewater red cypress board and batten inside and out, with brick and red roof tile. Notable owners of the house have included Texas oil heiress Diane Reid.
