Göktürk station

Göktürk is a neighborhood of Eyüp district in Istanbul Province, Turkey. Kemerburgaz quarter is located within the boundaries of Göktürk. Göktürk is served by the public bus lines.

Kemerburgaz is a proposed rapid transit station, currently under construction, on the M11 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located below Selanik Boulevard on the west side of the town of Kemerburgaz. The station will be among the first five metro stations to be located outside of the city (urban area) of Istanbul. Construction of the station began in 2016, along with the entire route from Gayrettepe to the Istanbul New Airport. Kemerburgaz station is expected to open in 2022.

Ayvat Bendi Nature Park (Turkish: Ayvat Bendi Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Situated 9 km (5.6 mi) north of Kemerburgaz neighborhood of Eyüpsultan, it covers an area of 50 ha (120 acres). It was established in 2011, and is one of the nine nature parks inside the Belgrad Forest. The protected area is named after the Ayvat Dam (Turkish: Ayvat Bendi), which was built by Ottoman Sultan Mustafa III (reigned 1757–1774) in 1765 on the Ayvat Creek, a tributary of the Kağıthane Creek.

Fatih Çeşmesi Nature Park (Turkish: Fatih Çeşmesi Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in Eyüp district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Fatih Çeşmesi Nature Park is situated inside the Belgrad Forest in Eyüp. It is about 6 km (3.7 mi) in distance west of Bahçeköy and east of Kemerburgaz. The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forest in 2011, and is one of the nine nature parks inside the Belgrad Forest. The protected area is named, literally "Fountain of the Conqueror", in honor of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror (reigned 1444–1446 and 1451–1481). It covers an area of about 29.5 ha (73 acres).

Cebeci Sport Hall (Turkish: Cebeci Spor Salonu) is an indoor multi-purpose sport venue that is located in the Sultangazi, Istanbul, Turkey. The hall, with a capacity for 1,250 spectators, was built in 2012. It is home to İstanbul BB, which plays currently in the Turkish Basketball League.

Belgrad Forest (Turkish: Belgrad Ormanı) is a mixed deciduous forest lying adjacent to Istanbul, Turkey. It is named after the village next to the forest, settled by thousands of Serbs who were deported to the capital Constantinople from the city of Belgrade in 1521, when it fell to the Ottomans. Geographically, the forest is located at the easternmost point of the Thracian Peninsula. Forest terrain is divided between Sarıyer and Eyüp districts. Several historical reservoirs lie within the forest.

Cebeci Sports Complex (Turkish: Cebeci Spor Kompleksi) is a sports complex featuring a multi-purpose sport hall, a football stadium and an indoor swimming pool, located in Sultangazi district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. It is owned by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB). The complex is situated at Atatürk Blv. 56, Uğur Mumcu Mah. in Sultangazi of Istanbul Province. It was constructed between 2010 and 2012. Owned by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municioality (İBB), it is run by Istanbul Spor, a subsidiary of the İBB. 1. The Cebeci Sport Hall is a multi-purpose venue with a seating capacity of 1,850. It is home to volleyball and basketball teams in league matches. 2. A 20 m × 45 m (66 ft × 148 ft) Basketball hall with wood surface capable of 40 seats. 3. A 30 m2 × 50 m2 (320 sq ft × 540 sq ft) Volleyball hall with 720 seating capacity. 4. A 600 m2 (6,500 sq ft) Fitness hall with PVC ground 5. A Wrestling hall with wrestling mat covering 900 m2 (9,700 sq ft). 6. A 640 m2 (6,900 sq ft) Judo hall with Kudo mat. 7. A 640 m2 (6,900 sq ft) Karate hall with tatami. 8. A 640 m2 (6,900 sq ft) Taekwondo hall with tatami for 40 spectators. 9. An indoor Archery hall with PVC ground covering an area of 290 m2 (3,100 sq ft). 10. A Table tennis hall of 900 m2 (9,700 sq ft). 11. The indoor swimming pool has Olympic size with 2.45 m (8 ft 0 in) depth, and features ten lanes. The venue has 1,000 seating capacity. 12. The Cebeci Stadium is a football venue with a capacity of 3,000 sprctators. The ground with the dimensions of 68 m × 105 m (223 ft × 344 ft) has artificial turf, and it is illuminated. The athletics track with all-weather running track is 400 m (1,300 ft) long. 13. A 49-room accomation building with 200-bed capacity for overnight stay, cafeteria, sauna and bath rooms.

Falih Rıfkı Atay Nature Park (Turkish: Falih Rıfkı Atay Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in Sarıyer district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Situated 7 km (4.3 mi) northwest of Bahçeköy neighborhood of Sarıyer and next to the Neşet Suyu Nature Park, it covers an area of 16.33 ha (40.4 acres). It was established in 2011, and is one of the nine nature parks inside the Belgrad Forest. The protected area is named in honor of journalist, writer and politician Falih Rıfkı Atay (1894–1971).Serbs who were taken prisoners of war at the Siege of Belgrade (1521) by Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent (reigned 1520–1566), were brought to Istanbul and settled in a village, which used to lie within the park boundaries. The nature park contains the ruins of a church, which is a protected historic building and was registered as cultural heritage in November 1999.The nature park offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, cycling and picnicing for visitors on daily basis. There are playgrounds for children. Admission is charged for visitors and vehicles and an open-air restaurant serves the visitors.

Kirazlıbent Nature Park (Turkish: Kirazlıbent Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in the Eyüp district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Kirazlıbent Nature Park is situated inside the Belgrad Forest in Eyüp. It is about 6 km (3.7 mi) in distance west of Bahçeköy and east of Kemerburgaz. The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forest in 2011, and is one of the nine nature parks inside the Belgrad Forest. It covers an area of about 19.14 ha (47.3 acres). The protected area is named after the dam Kirazlıbent, which was built by the Ottoman sultan Mahmud II (reigned 1808–1839) at the Kirazlı Creek in 1818.The nature park offers outdoor recreation activities such as hiking, cycling and picnicing for visitors on daily basis. There are playgrounds for children. Admission is charged for visitors and vehicles.

Sultangazi is one of Istanbul's newer inner-city districts. It was founded as a district proper in 2009 by the "New Local Government Law" in Istanbul, Turkey. To the west are the neighbourhoods of Esenler and Başakşehir, Gaziosmanpaşa is to the south and Eyüp is to the north and east. The district of Gaziosmanpaşa was divided to three districts, and Sultangazi is one of them. One border of the district is formed by the TEM highway. Sultangazi is divided into three neighbourhoods: Habibler, Gazi and Sultançiftliği. The name of "Sultangazi" comes from "Sultan" word part of Sultançiftliği (meaning farm of the Sultan) and the neighbourhood of Gazi, with "gazi" the Turkish for a venerated veteran of war. This district's population comprises many ethnic minorities, including immigrants from Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia, the Black Sea region of Turkey, Kurds and Alevis, as well as Turks. Kurdish minority and Alevi people are mostly found in the Gazi neighbourhood, which has become infamous in Turkey after the 1995 riots and more recently during the Gezi Park protests of June 2013. Kömürcübent Nature Park (Turkish: Kömürcübent Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located in Sarıyer district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Kömürcübent is situated inside the Belgrad Forest at Bahçeköy neighborhood of Sarıyer.It is reached after entering the Belgrad Forest through its Bahçeköy Gate, and passing by Neşet Suyu Nature Park and Falih Rıfkı Atay Nature Park. It covers an area of about 3 ha (7.4 acres). The area was declared a nature park by the Ministry of Environment and Forest in 2011, and is one of the nine nature parks inside the Belgrad Forest. The protected area is named for the historic dam Kömürcübent, which was built on Topuz Creek in 1620 by the Ottoman sultan Osman II (reigned 1618–1622). The dam is the oldest one in the Belgrad Forest. Next to the nature park, there is a deer farm.The nature park offers outdoor recreation activities such as hiking, cycling and picnicing for visitors on daily basis. There is an outdoor restaurant, an outdoor coffeehouse and playgrounds for children. Admission is charged for visitors and vehicles.
