As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 818 students and 63.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.0:1. There were 143 students (17.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 41 (5.0% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.Public school students from Mount Ephraim attend the district's high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Mount Ephraim Public Schools.

The Harwan Theatre was a movie theatre in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey. Originally known as the Mount Ephraim Theatre, it was built in 1929 at the corner of the Black Horse Pike and Kings Highway, and first opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1930. The original owners, Elias and Eva Harwan, named it the Mount Ephraim Theatre; it was renamed the Harwan Theatre when it was sold in 1968.It was originally a vaudeville theatre, with a stage, a single screen and 600 seats. It was torn down in February 2007, along with the rest of the block; a Walgreens pharmacy and parking lot has been constructed there. The South Jersey theater was later popular for its weekly showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. From 1997 until 1999, The Harwan was the principal venue for Exhumed Films.

Union Township is a now dissolved township which existed from 1831 to 1868 and was located in present-day Camden County, New Jersey. Union Township was formed by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on November 15, 1831, while the area was still part of Gloucester County, taking territory from Gloucester Township and incorporating all of Gloucestertown Township.When Camden County was separated from Gloucester County on March 13, 1844, Union Township was one of the original Camden County municipalities. On March 6, 1855, a new township, Centre Township, was formed from Union Township's territory. On February 25, 1868, the township was dissolved and the remaining land was chartered as Gloucester City.

Gloucestertown was a township that existed within the territory of the current Camden County, New Jersey, United States, from 1685 to 1831. Gloucestertown was formed on September 4, 1685, while the area was still part of Burlington County. On May 26, 1686, it became part of the newly created Gloucester County. It was briefly consolidated with Gloucester Township as of June 13, 1734, but regained its independence in 1739. The township was reestablished by Royal Charter on December 8, 1773.Gloucestertown Township was incorporated as one of New Jersey's initial group of 104 townships by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798.On November 15, 1831, Union Township was formed, incorporating portions of Gloucester Township and all of Gloucestertown Township. The Ritz Theatre is an active live producing non-profit theatre located in Haddon Township, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It is home to The Ritz Theatre Company (formerly Puttin' on the Ritz, Inc.) The company produces mainstage plays and musicals, children's theater, runs a summer theatre arts day camp and reaches out to its community with educational and entertaining programming.
