Quitumbe metro station

Quicentro Sur is a shopping mall located south of Quito that opened in August 2010. It is the largest mall in Ecuador. It contains 350 shops, an entertainment area, a food court, ten cinema screens, a large plaza for events, and an ice rink in a construction area of 165,000 square metres (1,780,000 sq ft) over a total area of ten hectares (25 acres).

The revenue service started on 2 May 2023 and discontinued on 11 May 2023. It resumed on 1 December 2023. The station is located between Solanda and Quitumbe.This is an underground station. It is located at the intersection of Avenida Morán Valverde and Avenida Rumichaca Ñan. On 23 January 2023, the first train with 600 passengers to whom invitations were extended, arrived to the station.

Estadio Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda is a multi-use stadium in southern Quito, Ecuador. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Aucas. The stadium holds 18,799 spectators and built in 1987 and opened in 1994. British Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden performed in the stadium as part of their Somewhere Back in Time World Tour on March 10, 2009.

It is located at the intersection of Avenida Cardenal Carlos de la Torre and Calle Vicente Reyes. The tunnel was extended to the station on 21 September 2017. On 23 January 2023, the first train with 600 passengers to whom invitations were extended, arrived to the station.

The station is located between La Magdalena and Cardenal de la Torre.This is an underground station. It is located at the intersection of Avenida Pedro Vicente Maldonado and Avenida Moraspungo. Cubana de Aviación Flight 389 (CU389/CUB389) was a scheduled international passenger flight, flying from the former Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito to Havana's José Martí International Airport, with a stopover at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Guayaquil, operated by Cuban flag carrier Cubana de Aviación. On 29 August 1998, the aircraft operating the domestic Quito-Guayaquil leg of the flight, a Russian-made Tupolev Tu-154M overran the runway, smashing buildings and crashed into a soccer field in Quito while taking off from the airport. The aircraft burst into flames and 70 people on board were killed. A total of 10 people on the ground, including children, were killed.

Pichincha (Spanish pronunciation: [piˈtʃintʃa]) is a province of Ecuador located in the northern Sierra region; its capital and largest city is Quito. It is bordered by Imbabura and Esmeraldas to the north, Cotopaxi and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas to the south, Napo and Sucumbíos to the east, and Esmeraldas and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas to the west. Prior to 2008, the canton Santo Domingo de los Colorados was part of the Pichincha Province. It has since become its own province, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. The province is home to many rose plantations, which make up the bulk of Ecuador's floriculture industry.

The Real Audiencia of Quito (sometimes referred to as la Presidencia de Quito or el Reino de Quito) was an administrative unit in the Spanish Empire which had political, military, and religious jurisdiction over territories that today include Ecuador, parts of northern Peru, parts of southern Colombia and parts of northern Brazil. It was created by Royal Decree on 29 August 1563 by Philip II of Spain in the city of Guadalajara. It ended in 1822 with the incorporation of the area into the Republic of Gran Colombia.
