Dyrkøb 7

Dyrkøb (lit. " Expensive Purchase") is a street in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs along the south side of Church of Our Lady, linking Nørregade in the west with Fiolstræde in the east. Kunstnerkollegiet, a dormitory from 1815 designed by Christian Frederik Hansen, is located at the corner with Fiolstræde.

Skindergade 44 is a Neoclassical property situated on Skindergade, off Gammeltorv, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. On the facade of the building is a black stone plaque underneath a cone-shaped stone bearing the names of six members of the Holger Danske World War II resistance group who were arrested at the site by the Gestapo in 1945 and subsequently executed in Ryvangen.

Nørregade 6 is a Neoclassical property situated at the corner of the streets Nørregade and Dyrkøb, next to the Church of Our Lady, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918. The ground floor of the building was home to a book shop from 1983 until 2015, most recently since 1979 operating under the name Atheneum. Former residents include the jurist and later politician Wilhelm Sponneck, army officer and politician Anton Frederik Tscherningm, publisher Meïr Aron Goldschmidt and Denmark's first female physician Nielsine Nielsen.

Nørregade 4 is an early 19th-century property situated in Nørregade, between Frue Plads and Gammeltorv, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

Skindergade 38/Dyrkøb 5 is a four-winged complex of 19th-century buildings with a nine-bays-long facade on Skindergade (No. 38) and a 10-bays-long facade on Dyrkøb, opposite the Church of Our Lady, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The two buildings fronting the streets were listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1951. The two side wings—which attach them to each other along each their side of a central courtyard—are not part of the heritage listing. From October 1852 until his death three years later, Søren Kierkegaard was a lodger in the apartment on the first floor (towards Skindergade). Other notable former residents include the politicians Janus Lauritz Andreas Kolderup-Rosenvinge, Orla Lehmann and Valdemar Rudolph von Raasløff.

The Latin Quarter (Danish: Latinerkvarteret) is a neighbourhood in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is bounded by Nørregade to the west, Vestergade to the south, Vester Voldgade to the east and Nørre Voldgade to the north. The name refers to the Latin language, which was once widely spoken in and around the University, whose historic home is situated on the other side of Nørregade. Most of the student life has now been relocated to four new campuses but the area is still known for its lively atmosphere with an abundance of boutiques, cafés and night clubs.

Stelling House (Danish: Stellings Hus) is a building on Gammeltorv in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. Completed in 1937, it was designed as an office building and retail store for the A. Stelling paint company by Arne Jacobsen who took pains to have it blend in with the older buildings which surround it.

The Church of Our Lady (Danish: Vor Frue Kirke) is the cathedral of Copenhagen. It is situated on the Frue Plads public square in central Copenhagen, next to the historic main building of the University of Copenhagen.The present-day version of the church was designed by the architect Christian Frederik Hansen (1756–1845) in the Neoclassical style and was completed in 1829.

The Second Battle of Copenhagen (or the Bombardment of Copenhagen) (16 August – 7 September 1807) was a British bombardment of the Danish capital, Copenhagen, in order to capture or destroy the Dano-Norwegian fleet during the Napoleonic Wars. The incident led to the outbreak of the Anglo-Russian War of 1807, which ended with the Treaty of Örebro in 1812. Britain's first response to Napoleon's Continental System was to launch a major naval attack on Denmark. Although ostensibly neutral, Denmark was under heavy French pressure to pledge its fleet to Napoleon. In September 1807, the Royal Navy bombarded Copenhagen, seizing the Danish fleet and assured use of the sea lanes in the North Sea and Baltic Sea for the British merchant fleet. A consequence of the attack was that Denmark did join the Continental System and the war on the side of France, but without a fleet it had little to offer.The attack gave rise to the term to Copenhagenize.

Frue Plads (literally "Square of (Our) Lady") is a public square located on the north side of the Church of Our Lady in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It occupies a rectangular space which is bounded on the other sides by University of Copenhagen's main building to the north, Nørregade to the west and pedestrianized Fiolstræde to the east.

Skindergade 36/Dyrkøb 3 is a Neoclassical building complex situated close to Gammeltorv in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It consists of a five-bays-wide, four-storey building in Skindergade and another five-bays-wide, four-storey building in Dyrkøb as well as a side wing which connects the two buildings along the west side of a central courtyard. The Dyrkøb building fronts the south side of the Church of Our Lady. N. J. Frænckels Stiftelse, a private senior citizens home administrated by the Hewish congregation, was located in the buuilding from 1899 until 1961. The building complex was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. Notable former residents include the painter Niels Simonsen, musician in the Royal Danish Orchestra H. S. Paulli (1810–1891) and theologian and translator Edvard Lembcke (1815–1897).

Christus is an 1833 white Carrara marble statue of the resurrected Jesus Christ by Bertel Thorvaldsen located in the Church of Our Lady (Evangelical Lutheran Church of Denmark) in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was commissioned as part of a larger group, which includes 11 of the original 12 apostles and Paul the Apostle (instead of Judas Iscariot). It has been widely reproduced. Images and replicas of the statue were adopted by the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in the 20th century to emphasize the centrality of Jesus Christ in its teachings.
