Cork Golf Club is a golf club located in Little Island, Cork, Republic of Ireland.

Little Island, County Cork, is a civil parish and mainly industrial area to the east of Cork city in Ireland. It is no longer an island since the northern channel separating it from the mainland has filled over. To the west and south is Lough Mahon, part of Cork Harbour; across a channel to the east is Fota Island. Little Island is within the Dáil constituency of Cork North-Central.

Little Island railway station (sometimes spelled as Littleisland, which is the name that station signs display) serves the area of Little Island in County Cork. It is a station on the Cork to Cobh or Midleton commuter service.

Erin's Own GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Glounthaune in east County Cork, Ireland. The club is made up of players from Little Island, Knockraha, Brooklodge and Glounthaune areas of the parish. The club caters for players at all age levels in hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and ladies football. The club plays in the Imokilly division of Cork GAA.

Glounthaune (Irish: An Gleanntán, meaning 'the small glen') is a village in County Cork, Ireland, some 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) east of Cork city, on the north shore of Cork Harbour, the estuary of the River Lee.

Lough Mahon (Irish: Loch Machan) is a sea lough in the north-western part of Cork Harbour. Its area is about 12 km2 (5 sq mi).Several Cork suburbs, such as Mahon, Douglas, Rochestown, Blackrock and Ballinlough as well as the town of Passage West are on its southern and western shores. To the north is Little Island and to the east Great Island. Lough Mahon falls within the Cork Harbour "Special Protection Area", as designated under the EU Birds Directive, and is an important habitat for a number of bird species and migrating waders in particular.

The R610 road is a regional road in Ireland, located in County Cork and Cork City, beginning at a junction with the N28 and terminating on Parnell Place and Grand Parade in the city centre (N8 and N22 junctions respectively). The road connects Monkstown, Passage West and Glenbrook in County Cork with Rochestown, Douglas and Cork city centre in Cork City.

Glounthaune railway station (Irish: Gleanntán) is an Iarnród Éireann station serving the town of Glounthaune in County Cork, Ireland. The station is at is the junction between Cobh and Midleton on the Cork Commuter line.

Passage West (locally known as "Passage"; Irish: An Pasáiste Thiar) is a port town in County Cork, Ireland, situated on the west bank of Cork Harbour, some 10 km south-east of Cork city. The town has many services, amenities and social outlets. Passage West was designated a conservation area in the 2003 Cork County Development Plan.

Fota railway station serves Fota Island in County Cork. It is a station on the Cork to Cobh commuter service. Travel to Glounthaune station to transfer to Midleton.

The Dunkettle Interchange is a major road junction in Glanmire, to the east of Cork City, Ireland. It forms a junction between the M8, N25 and the N40. The junction is currently a four-arm signalised junction with a flyover, allowing traffic travelling in an east–west axis to avoid having to use the roundabout. On average, 95,000 vehicles use the junction on a daily basis. As of 2018, a further civil engineering upgrade to make the interchange work on a freeflow basis was being undertaken by Sisk, with a proposed completion date of 2022.It should not be confused with the Dunkettle Roundabout which is around 750m to the west.

St. Peter's Community School is a mixed-sex second level community school in Passage West, a commuter town of Cork, Ireland. It officially opened in 1988.As of 2020, there were over 360 pupils enrolled in the school. Past pupils include rugby player Rory Parata, and politician Michael McGrath.
