Tynte's Castle (; Irish: Caisleán Tynte) is a tower house located in Youghal, eastern County Cork, Ireland.

St John's House is a former 12th-century Irish Benedictine monastery situated in the centre of Youghal, County Cork. It was one of several religious houses in that city known by the name of Youghal Priory.

Youghal ( YAWL; Irish: Eochaill, meaning 'yew wood') is a seaside resort town in County Cork, Ireland. Located on the estuary of the River Blackwater, the town is a former military and economic centre. Located on the edge of a steep riverbank, the town has a long and narrow layout. As of the 2016 census, the population was 7,963.As a historic walled seaport town on the coastline of East Cork, and close to a number of beaches, it has been a tourist destination since the mid-19th century. There are a number of historic buildings and monuments within the town's walls, and Youghal is among a small number of towns designated as "Irish Heritage Ports" by the Irish Tourist Board.

The building accommodates an entertainment venue known as The Mall Arts Centre. It is included in Cork County Council's Record of Protected Structures.

Youghal GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Youghal, in County Cork, Ireland. The club fields both Hurling and Gaelic football teams and also has junior camogie and ladies football teams. The club is a member of Cork GAA and Imokilly divisional board.

The South Abbey was a Franciscan friary in Youghal, Ireland active between the 13th and 17th centuries.

The Blackwater or Munster Blackwater (Irish: An Abhainn Mhór, The Great River) is a river which flows through counties Kerry, Cork and Waterford in Ireland. It rises in the Mullaghareirk Mountains in County Kerry and then flows in an easterly direction across County Cork through the towns of Mallow and Fermoy. It then enters County Waterford where it flows through Lismore, before abruptly turning south at Cappoquin and finally draining into the Celtic Sea at Youghal Harbour in Cork. In total, the Blackwater is 169 km (105 mi) long. The total catchment area of the River Blackwater is 3,324 km2. Its long-term average flow rate of is 89.1 cubic metres per second (m3/s) The Blackwater is notable for being one of the best salmon fishing rivers in the country. Like many Irish rivers, salmon stocks declined in recent years, but the Irish government banned commercial netting of salmon off the coast of Ireland in November 2006.

Rincrew Abbey is a ruined abbey, traditionally associated with the Knights Templar, near Youghal in the south of Ireland. It is located in County Waterford.

Kinsalebeg (Irish: Cionn tSáile) is a civil parish in the historical barony of Decies-within-Drum in County Waterford, Ireland. Kinsalebeg is close to the border with County Cork and across the bay, at Youghal Harbour, from the town of Youghal. The former Church of Ireland church in Kinsalebeg, built in 1821, has been disused since the early 20th century and is now in ruin. The current Roman Catholic church, in Pilltown townland, was built in the late 20th century on the site of an earlier church. This church, which is dedicated to Saint Bartholomew, is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. A holy well, also associated with Saint Bartholomew, is nearby. The local national (primary) school, Kinsalebeg National School (also known as Scoil Náisiúnta Naomh Parthala), had an enrollment of 59 pupils as of January 2024.

Molana Abbey (Irish: Mainistir Mhaolanfaidh) is a 6th-century Abbey located on the south coast of Ireland in the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore, near Youghal. The abbey lies on an island in the River Blackwater. The monks of the monastery helped co-edit Collectio canonum Hibernensis in the 8th century. It came under the control of the Augustinian canons in the 12th century before being seized by the English Crown during the Reformation and gradually falling into ruin.
