First Moscow State Medical University

Frunzenskaya (Russian: Фру́нзенская) is a Metro station on the Sokolnicheskaya Line in Moscow, Russia. The station was opened on 1 May 1957 as the first stage of the extension of the Frunzenskiy radius. As the radius follows the bend of the Moskva river, the whole segment had to be built very deep (42 metres/138 ft for Frunzenskaya). The station closed on 2 January 2016 for renovation, which was expected to last 14 months. The renovations were completed ahead of schedule with the station reopening on December 29, 2016. The renovations included the installation of four new escalators to replace the three that had been in place. Metro authorities projected that the new escalators would reduce energy consumption by 40% and increase the capacity by one-third.

Khamovniki District (Russian: Хамо́вники) is a district of Central Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. Population: 102,730 (2010 Census); 97,110 (2002 Census).The district extends from Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge into the Luzhniki bend of Moskva River; northern boundary with Arbat District follows Znamenka Street, Gogolevsky Boulevard, Sivtsev Vrazhek and Borodinsky Bridge. The district contains Pushkin Museum, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Devichye Pole medical campus, Novodevichy Convent and memorial cemetery, Luzhniki Stadium. The stretch of Khamovniki between Boulevard Ring and Garden Ring, known as Golden Mile, is downtown Moscow's most expensive housing area.

The Higher Courses for Women in Moscow (Russian: Московские высшие женские курсы, romanized: Moskovskiye Vysshiye Zhenskiye Kursy, lit. 'Moscow Higher Women's Courses') was a university for women between 1872 and 1918 (with a break in 1888-1900), after which they were transformed into the 2nd Moscow State University. It was one of the largest and most prominent women's higher education institutions in the Russian Empire, second only to the Bestuzhev Courses in Saint Petersburg. It was founded and administered by Vladimir I. Guerrier.

The Moscow Palace of Youth (Russian: Московский дворец молодёжи), also called Moscow Youth Palace, is an entertainment complex in Moscow, located in the Khamovniki District above the Frunzenskaya metro station. The building was constructed in 1982–1988 according to the designs of architects Yakov Belopolsky, M. E. Belenya, Mykhail Posokhin and Vladimir Khavin.

The Embassy of Vietnam in Moscow is the diplomatic mission of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation. The chancery is located at 13 Bolshaya Pirogovskaya Street (Russian: ул. Большая Пироговская, 13) in the Khamovniki District of Moscow.The embassy occupies a former Mazurin orphanage building, privately funded by the estate of late French-born Marie Charbonneau (d. 1890) who was a long-term unmarried partner of Nikolay Mazurin. Charbonneau bequested 200,000 roubles in cash and 80,000 in stock to establish an orphanage to be named after Mazurin. The City Hall provided land on the north-western corner of then emerging Devichye Pole medical campus; the building, completed in 1895, became the first solo project by a 30-year-old architect Illarion Ivanov-Schitz. As built, the orphanage provided shelter for up to 50 boys and 50 girls. Admittance was open to children aged 5 to 9 years, regardless of their creed or social standing; the city, however, required at least two years Moscow residence. Orphans who reached junior school age studied in nearby public schools together with ordinary children; they could stay in the orphanage until the age of 12.In 1930s the nationalized building housed a public school.

Devichye Pole (Russian: Девичье поле, lit. 'Maidens' Field') is a historical medical campus, built between 1887 and 1897 in Khamovniki District of Moscow, Russia, to the master plan of Konstantin Bykovski. It is located between the Garden Ring and Novodevichy Convent. Originally the medical department of Moscow State University, it is now split between Moscow Medical Academy, Russian State Medical University and various state and private clinics. The territory also includes Russian State Archives and Devichye Pole park.

Kauchuk Factory Club (Russian: Клуб завода «Каучук») is a 1927-1929 russian avant-garde public building designed by Konstantin Melnikov, located in Khamovniki District of Moscow, Russia on the edge of Devichye Pole park and medical campus at 64, Plyshikha Street.

The Moscow State Academy of Choreography (Russian: Московская государственная академия хореографии), commonly known as The Bolshoi Ballet Academy, is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools of ballet in the world, located in Moscow, Russia. It is the affiliate school of the Bolshoi Ballet. The Bolshoi Ballet receives the majority of its dancers from the academy, as do most other Moscow ballet companies. Numerous choreographers, instructors and graduates of the academy have become renowned, including Olga Lepeshinskaya, Raisa Struchkova, Natalia Bessmertnova, Ekaterina Maximova, Maya Plisetskaya, Nikolai Fadeyechev, Vladimir Vasiliev, Mikhail Lavrovsky, Nikolay Tsiskaridze, to be bestowed a People's Artist of the USSR, "prima ballerina assoluta" and "premier dancer", the ultimate title for a ballet performer of the Soviet Union. The academy was awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for their contributions to promotion of cultural exchange through art between Japan and Russia on December 1, 2020.

The Embassy of Iraq in Moscow (Arabic: سفارة العراق في موسكو) is the diplomatic mission of Iraq to Russia. The chancery is located at 12 Pogodinskaya Street (Russian: Погодинская ул., 12) in the Khamovniki District of Moscow. The Head of Mission is Haidar Hadi, who was posted to Moscow in January 2017.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Moscow is the chief diplomatic mission of South Korea in the Russian Federation. It is located at 56 Plyushchikha Street (Russian: ул. Плющиха, 56) in the Khamovniki District of Moscow.

The Combined Arms Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a military academy in Moscow which provides graduate education for officers of the Russian Armed Forces. The full name reads: The Combined Academies Order of Lenin Order of the October Revolution Red Bannered Order of Suvorov of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation-Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Russian Ground Forces (Russian: Военный учебно-научный центр Сухопутных войск "Общевойсковая орденов Ленина и Октябрьской революции, Краснознаменная, ордена Суворова академия Вооруженных Сил Российской Федерации"). There are 30 departments within the academy. They are housed in two main buildings in the Khamovniki and Lefortovo Districts of Moscow. It has a source of historical origin and functionally duplicates the General Staff Academy. It is the equivalent of the United States Army's Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth or the British Army's Staff College in Camberley. Since 2019, the current Commandant of the Combined Military Academy is Lieutenant General Aleksander Romanchuk.
