Blackrock railway station was on the Cork, Blackrock and Passage Railway in County Cork, Ireland.

Dundanion Castle (Irish: Dún Daingean, meaning 'firm fortress') is a Tudor tower house in the Blackrock area of Cork in Ireland. Previously known as Galwey's Castle, the ruin is located on the grounds of the much later "Dundanion House".

Blackrock is a suburb, with a village core, in the southeast of Cork City, Ireland. Originally a small fishing village about five kilometres from Cork City, the growth of the city over time has meant that the village has become incorporated into the city. The Bessborough Mother & Baby Home, (also known as the Bessborough Sacred Heart Home) was a home for mothers and their children that operated in Blackrock, County Cork, Ireland, from 1922 until 1998. It was included in an investigation by the Irish government following the discovery of hundreds of bodies at Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway. The Home was run by Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, a religious order of Catholic nuns. The home was one of the largest in Ireland, with 9,768 women and 8938 children being admitted. Forced adoptions are recorded in the report, including children who were adopted to families in the United States in return for cash donations, while over 900 children died. Their bodies were buried in unmarked graves.

Tivoli is an eastern suburb of Cork in Ireland. Tivoli is in the Dáil constituency of Cork North-Central. A station on the former Cork and Youghal Railway served the area between the 1860s and 1930s.The area is home to a number of bed and breakfast establishments and the Silver Springs Hotel. The cedar trees, still growing in the area, were reputedly planted by Sir Walter Raleigh, who lived there briefly.Tivoli's docks, part of the Port of Cork, provide container handling, facilities for oil, livestock and ore, as well as a roll-on/roll-off ferry ramp. The docks are a significant point of entry for imported motor vehicles. The docks are to be phased out as the Port of Cork moves further downriver to the Ringaskiddy area.

Ringmahon House is a 19th-century house in the Mahon and Blackrock area of Cork in Ireland. Built c. 1820 by James Murphy (of Murphy's Brewery), the house was owned by Ben Dunne (of Dunnes Stores) in the mid-20th century. As of the 21st century, the house is owned by Cork City Council and is used as a school by Mahon Youthreach. The grounds of Ringmahon House contain the former gate tower of an earlier castle. The remains of this structure, known as Ringmahon Castle, are included in the Record of Protected Structures maintained by Cork City Council.

Ballintemple (Irish: Baile an Teampaill, meaning 'the town of the church') is a suburb of Cork city, Ireland. The village is situated on the east side of the city with its limits extending to the River Lee and the village of Blackrock further to the east. Originally, Ballintemple was a separate village but today it has been enclosed by the city.

Lotamore House is a Georgian house in Cork, Ireland, which used as a residence by several Cork merchant families before being turned into a number of businesses. Used as guesthouse for several years, by the beginning of the 21st century the house had fallen into disrepair, It was, however, renovated and reopened as a fertility clinic in 2017.

Blackrock Castle is a castellated fortification located at Blackrock, about 2 km from Cork city centre on the banks of the River Lee in Ireland. Originally developed as a coastal defence fortification in the 16th century to protect upper Cork Harbour and port, the site now houses an observatory, visitor centre and restaurant.

Páirc Uí Chaoimh (Irish pronunciation: [ˈpˠaːɾʲc iː ˈxiːvʲ] PARK ee KHEEV) is a Gaelic games stadium in Cork, Ireland. It is the home of Cork GAA. The venue, often referred to simply as The Park, is located in Ballintemple and is built near to the site of the original Cork Athletic Grounds. The stadium opened in 1976 and underwent a significant two-year redevelopment before reopening in 2017. Primarily used as a venue for Gaelic games, it has been used to host Cork's home league and championship games in both Gaelic football and hurling. The finals of both the Cork hurling and football championships have often been held at the venue. Following approval by the GAA's Central Council, soccer and rugby games have also been hosted. The stadium has also hosted concerts by Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, U2, The Stone Roses, Oasis, Elton John, Ed Sheeran and Westlife as well as the annual Siamsa Cois Laoi festival. Originally designed by Horgan and Lynch, the stadium had an initial capacity of 50,288. This capacity was progressively reduced because of safety regulations and, before the commencement of redevelopment works in 2015, it had a capacity of 32,550. Since the completion of the redevelopment in 2017 the capacity of the venue is 45,000, making it the third-largest Gaelic games stadium in Ireland.
