Berlin Görlitzer Bahnhof

Görlitzer Bahnhof is a Berlin U-Bahn station on the viaduct of lines U1 and U3. It is located in Kreuzberg, in an area that offers a wide range of nightlife but is also notorious for its riots on 1 May 1987.

Paul-Lincke-Ufer is a street in Berlin running along the Landwehr Canal Canal in the Kreuzberg quarter of the city. The street runs from Kottbusser Brücke all the way to the Treptow Canal. Opposite it is the Maybach Ufer where the Turkish Market takes place on Tuesday, Friday and some Saturdays.

Görlitzer Park (nicknamed "Görli") is a major park and recreation area in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. The 14-hectare park area contains, among other things, a petting zoo, several sports and football fields, and a small lake. At its north-west end is the Görlitzer Bahnhof U-Bahn station.

The church St. Thomas (German: Thomaskirche) is a Protestant church in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. Friedrich Adler designed and built the church between 1865 and 1869. Prior to the construction of the Berliner Dom, it was the largest church in Berlin, and the congregation was one of the largest in Western Christendom.It is located directly between the Luisenstädtischer Kanal and Mariannenplatz, once a central location.

Georg-von-Rauch-Haus (named after Georg von Rauch) is a Berlin squat established in 1971. The building was formerly a residence for nuns. It was one of the first squats in West Berlin and an important center for the city's left-wing/countercultural milieu in the early 1970s. It inspired Ton Steine Scherben's "Rauch-Haus-Song".

The SO36 (German: [ʔɛsʔoːˌzɛksʔʊntˈdʁaɪ̯sɪç] (listen)) club is a music club on Oranienstraße near Heinrichplatz in the area of Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany. It takes its name from the historic postcode of that area, SO36, in which the SO stands for Südost (South East). The Kreuzberg district has historically been home to the Berlin punk rock movement, as well as other alternative subcultures in Germany.

The Ufo (lit. UFO) was the first acid house club in Berlin. It is considered a pioneering place for the techno scene during the reunification. Residents and guest DJs at the club included, among others, Tanith, Jonzon, Rok, Dr. Motte, Mike van Dijk and the then 13-year-old Kid Paul.

Køpi (also known as Köpi or Koepi) is a housing project (German: Hausprojekt) located at 137 Köpenicker Straße in Mitte, Berlin. It was squatted in 1990 and legalised in 1991 as an autonomous housing project and self-managed social centre. The yard was used as a wagenplatz for people living in vehicles. It is a left-wing project, connected to punks, anarchists and Autonomen. The building has become a symbol for the radical left in Berlin in the same manner as Rozbrat in Poznań or Ungdomshuset in Copenhagen. It has survived several eviction attempts both through political pressure and because the developers have always run out of money.

The Tommy Weisbecker Haus is a housing co-operative and self-managed social centre based in an apartment block in Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany. It was established in 1973 when young people squatted it as an autonomous youth homeless shelter. Quickly legalized, it became a housing project and signed a new 30 year lease in 2013.

Hard Wax is a record shop located in the Kreuzberg borough of Berlin, Germany. It was founded in December 1989 by Mark Ernestus at the ground floor of a Reichenberger Straße’s building. It is specialized in techno music, reggae, dub and dubstep. Hard Wax also serves as a distributor for several Berlin-based record labels linked to the Basic Channel aesthetic. Some members (or former members) of its staff are prominent DJs like DJ Hell, Gernot Bronsert of Modeselektor, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Rok, Gabriele „Mo“ Loschelder or Electric Indigo (Susanne Kirchmayr) who was in charge of sales from 1993 to 1996. The shop sets place a mail order system through its website (which represented 50% of the sales in 2009). In 1996 Hard Wax moved to the third floor of an old factory in Paul-Lincke-Ufer 44a sharing its premises with the Basic Channel record label and the Dubplates and Mastering studio. It’s one of the oldest record stores in electronic music in Berlin. Playing the role of an important hub for the techno community in the world, the shop helped extensively the development of this burgeoning scene in the 90s. Furthermore, as with Tresor club in Berlin, it shares a privileged relationship with the musicians of Detroit techno in the so-called "Berlin-Detroit axis".

Schlesisches Tor is a Berlin U-Bahn station on lines U1 and U3. Many Berliners use the affectionate term Schlesi (see Berlin dialect).

Schönleinstraße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the . Opened in 1928 and designed by Grenander it was shortly closed in 1945 and renamed in 1951 to Kottbusser Damm. In 1992 the station was named Schönleinstrasse again.On 25 December 2016, Deutsche Welle reported that a group of young men "attempted murder" on a homeless person at the Schönleinstraße station by setting him on fire. Two days later, the Wall Street Journal indicated seven youths were in police custody.On 20 February 2019, at noon, another homeless person was attacked with a knife, but he was saved by bystanders. The attack was recorded on video.
