Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing (TAM), also known as JSC Tbilaviamsheni (formerly known as 31st aviation factory), is a Georgian aerospace development and manufacturing company, which also partially manufactures APCs and IFVs.

The 2017 Isani flat siege was a confrontation between the Georgian police and security forces and an armed group of four Chechen men, including the former ISIS officer Akhmed Chatayev, in and around a flat on Gabriel Salosi Street in the Isani district of Tbilisi, from 21 to 22 November 2017. Three suspected militants, including Chatayev, and one counter-terrorist officer were killed and four law enforcement personnel were wounded as a result of the about 20-hour confrontation. One member of the group was arrested. According to the Georgian security officials, the group planned to carry out terror attacks against foreign diplomatic missions in Georgia and Turkey.

Isani-Samgori is an administrative district (raioni) in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.

Shevardeni Stadium is the home field for the Georgia rugby union national team. It consists of two full-size rugby pitches, one each with artificial and natural turf. The natural pitch is used for Georgian Rugby premiership Supreme league club games, and the artificial field is used for Georgian premiership first league club games.

Sinatle Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Merani Tbilisi. The stadium is able to hold 2,500 people.

Georgian International Academy (Georgian: საქართველოს საერთაშორისო აკადემია) is a private institution located in Isani-Samgori District, Tbilisi, Georgia. The academy is one of the few Georgian institutions which awards the degree “Doctor Academician”.Georgian International Academy also operates a junior college – a two-year post-secondary school whose main purpose is to provide academic, vocational and professional education.

Shavnabada (Georgian: შავნაბადა) is a mountain and extinct volcano of 770 m height in southeastern Georgia, some 96 km from the nation’s capital Tbilisi. The mountain is notable for a medieval Georgian Orthodox monastery built there in honor of St. George who, according to a local legend, wore a black cloak (Georgian: shavi nabadi, hence the mountain’s name) when leading the army of the king of Georgia in one of the victorious battles. The monastery is known for its rare variety of wine, also called Shavnabada, made by the monks."Shavnabada" is also a moniker for the 13th "Shavnabada" Light Infantry Battalion of the Georgian Army which was based at this mountain in the 1990s.

Georgian National University (Georgian: საქართველოს ეროვნული უნივერსიტეტი) is a private higher education institution established in 2001 in Tbilisi, Georgia. It offers 22 accredited undergraduate, master’s, and single medical programs taught in English and Georgian across faculties such as Medicine, Business, Law, and Social Sciences. Enrollment is approximately 8,000-11,000 students, with around 500 academic and visiting staff. SEU has secured national accreditation and international recognition, particularly in its medical faculty.

The Wedding Palace or Palace of Rituals (Georgian: რიტუალების სასახლე) is a building in Tbilisi designed by architects Victor Djorbenadze and Vazha Orbeladze. It was built in 1984 as a wedding venue.

The Cathedral of Panagia Portaitissa of Iberia (Georgian: ივერიის ღვთისმშობლის ხატის სახელობის ტაძარი, romanized: iveriis ghvtismshoblis khat'is sakhelobis t'adzari) is a cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church in Tbilisi, Georgia. Construction was inaugurated in 2012 by the initiative of the Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II. The cathedral is dedicated after the original Panagia Portaitissa icon held at the Monastery of the Iberians on Mount Athos.

Ponichala (Georgian: ფონიჭალა) is a suburb in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. It consists of Upper Ponichala, Lower Ponichala and the village of Ponichala.

Chughureti is an administrative district (raioni) of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia. It includes the neighborhoods of Chughureti, Kukia, Svanetisubani, Ivertubani, and Arsenali.
