Hospital Luas stop

The Tallaght University Hospital (Irish: Ospidéal Ollscoile Thamhlachta) is a teaching hospital in County Dublin, Ireland. Its academic partner is the Trinity College Dublin. It is managed by Dublin Midlands Hospital Group.

The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU, Irish: An Coimisiúin um Rialáil Fóntais), formerly known as the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER, Irish: An Coimisiún um Rialáil Fuinnimh), is the Republic of Ireland's energy and water economic utility regulator.

Tallaght (; Irish: Tamhlacht) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as the terminus of the Red Line. The stop is located on a section of reserved track at the side of the road the populous suburb of Tallaght, opposite The Square Shopping Centre. It also provides access to Tallaght Stadium, the offices of South Dublin County Council, and the local campus of the Technological University Dublin. The stop has two edge platforms, and trams reverse using a double crossover immediately beyond the stop. Thus, one platform is used for arrivals and one for departures. Upon leaving Tallaght, trams travel along their own right of way, rounding a corner where the tracks are straddled by buildings. They then head north on their way to Connolly or The Point. The stop is also served by Dublin Bus routes 27, 49, 54A, 56A, 65, 65B, 75, 75a, 76, 76A, 76B, 77A, 175 and 210.

Dublin Civic Theatre opened in March 1999, a project of South Dublin County Council and also grant aided by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands. The theatre has two performance spaces, the main auditorium and the Loose End studio. The smaller studio space is named the Loose End after the Civic’s location at the last stop of the Luas red line. The larger main auditorium can seat 282 people and the Loose End can seat up to 70 people.

Cookstown (Irish: Baile an Chócaigh) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Red Line. The stop is located on a section of reserved track at the side of Cookstown Way in south-west Dublin. The stop is also served by Dublin Bus routes 56 and 210.

The Square Tallaght is a shopping centre located in Tallaght, Dublin, Ireland, opened in 1990. It is located 10 minutes from junction 11 of the M50 motorway on the Belgard Road (the R113) and the N81. The centre comprises 53,000 m2 of retail space, spread across three levels, and as of 2016 has up to 163 stores. It has an annual footfall of 21.7 million.There are over 2500 car parking spaces. The anchor tenants are Dunnes and Tesco. When The Square opened it was the largest shopping centre in Ireland.

Tallaght Stadium (Irish: Staid Thamhlachta) is an association football stadium in the Republic of Ireland based in Tallaght, South Dublin. The club Shamrock Rovers originally announced details of the stadium in July, 1996. The stadium is now owned and operated by South Dublin County Council with Shamrock Rovers as the anchor tenants.

Vincent Parsons was a welder and father of two from Clondalkin who was assaulted in Tallaght and died two days later. He and his wife Claire had a daughter and son.

Belgard is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2004 as a stop on the Red Line. The stop is located on a section of reserved track at the side of Katherine Tynan Road in south-west Dublin, near the Belgard Heights housing estate.In 2011, a new branch of the red line to Saggart was opened. Belgard then became the last stop on the common section of the line and was extensively rebuilt in order to serve its new purpose as an interchange, with an impressive canopy covering the new structure. The stop now has four platforms - two island platforms facing three tracks. Ordinarily, the two outer platforms are used as a conventional through stop: the platform closest to the road is for northbound trams en route to Connolly or The Point, and the farthest platform is for trams travelling the other way, which then depart and travel another 400m away from the stop before going through a junction which separates the branches to Tallaght and Saggart. In the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends, Red Line trams from the city centre all go to Tallaght. At these times, the Saggart branch is served by a shuttle service which terminates at the middle track at Belgard. Passengers wishing to travel between Saggart and the city centre at these times must change at Belgard. The stop is also served by Go-Ahead Ireland routes 76 and 76A.

Oldbawn (or Old Bawn, Irish: An Seanbhábhún) is a small suburban area now within Tallaght on Dublin's southside. Formerly a small village in its own right, it is situated between the Sean Walsh Park and the River Dodder. A bawn is the defensive wall surrounding an Irish tower house. It is the anglicised version of the Irish word bábhún, meaning "cattle-stronghold" or "cattle-enclosure"

The Institute of Technology Tallaght (also known as ITT or IT Tallaght) (Irish: Institiúid Teicneolaíochta, Tamhlacht) was a third-level institution in Tallaght, the largest suburb of Dublin, Ireland. Established in 1992, IT Tallaght offered degree and postgraduate courses as well as adult education courses. On 1 January 2019 it was dissolved and its operations merged into the new Technological University Dublin (TUD). Its campus is now the Tallaght Campus of TUD.
