École secondaire catholique Père-Philippe-Lamarche (transl. Father Père-Philippe-Lamarche Catholic Secondary School, commonly shortened to ESC Père-Philippe-Lamarche or ESCPPL), is a public separate French first language secondary school operated by the Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir. The school is located on Eglinton Avenue, in the Toronto neighbourhood of Eglinton East. It is the first public francophone separate secondary school situated in Scarborough. The school was named after Father Père-Philippe-Lamarche, a member of the Catholic clergy who moved to Toronto in 1887. Lamarche founded the first French first language school in Toronto.

McCowan District Park is a 8.1-hectare (20-acre) recreational park in the Eglinton East neighbourhood of Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The park is located along McCowan Road, south of the Lakeshore East commuter rail line of GO Transit.

St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy, formerly known as Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School, is a Roman Catholic high school in the Eglinton East neighbourhood of Scarborough in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as a member of the Toronto Catholic District School Board (formerly the Metropolitan Separate School Board). The school building was originally opened in 1965 as Tabor Park Vocational School (1965–1986) by the Scarborough Board of Education, which became the Toronto District School Board who leased the building to the MSSB/TCDSB since 1989. The school educates 1002 students as of the 2016–17 academic year and it is ranked 331 out of 725 schools in the Fraser Institute report card.Previously, the school was named after Jean Vanier, the founder of L'Arche in 1964. The school was renamed in July 2020 in honor of Joan of Arc in the aftermath of the posthumous sexual allegations against its former namesake. Its motto is Minds to Reason, Hands to Work, Hearts for God.

Eglinton GO Station is a train station that serves the Scarborough Village and Eglinton East neighbourhoods of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a station on the Lakeshore East line of the GO Transit rail network. This station is one of few GO stations that are not accessible yet.

Midland Avenue Collegiate Institute (also known as Midland Avenue CI, MA, MACI, Midland CI, or Midland), formerly Midland Avenue Secondary School and initially known as Central Collegiate Institute is a Toronto District School Board-owned alternative learning complex in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada consisting of Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies (SCAS), South East Year Round Alternative Centre (SEYRAC), and Caring and Safe Schools Midland program. This three-storey public high school opened in 1962 for the Scarborough Board of Education until its closure in 2000 due to low enrolment. Throughout its existence, Midland's academic and athletic programs were flexible, relevant, and student-centred with courses designed to include various instructional techniques catering to its diverse population. Its facilities include a greater auditorium, swimming pool, rounded cafeteria and larger technical shops. Midland's motto is Semper ad Optimum which translates to "Always strive for the best".

Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies (SCAS), formerly Tabor Park Vocational School is an alternative and adult high school serving Scarborough, a part of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It operates under the Toronto District School Board and was previously part of the pre-amalgamated board, Scarborough Board of Education prior to merger. Originated at Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute in 1977 as the re-entry program, the school opened in 1986 at the Tabor Park building and as of 2010, the school is located in the campus of the former Midland Avenue Collegiate Institute sharing with the fellow schools, South East Year Round Alternative Centre and Caring and Safe Schools Alternative Program Area C. SCAS is located on Midland Avenue south of Eglinton Avenue East.

The Scarborough General Hospital (officially Scarborough Health Network, General Hospital) is a major hospital in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located northwest of the intersection of McCowan Road and Lawrence Avenue East, the hospital opened in 1956 as the first in the former township of Scarborough.

Scarborough Health Network (SHN), formerly The Scarborough Hospital is a hospital network in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It operates the Scarborough General, Centenary, and Birchmount hospitals. The three are major community health hospitals with teaching affiliations to the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.

Kennedy GO Station is a train station in the GO Transit network located in the Scarborough area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Stouffville line GO train service, and is directly connected to the adjacent Kennedy subway station which serves the Line 2 Bloor–Danforth and Line 3 Scarborough lines, as well as numerous TTC bus services.

Bendale Business and Technical Institute (Bendale BTI, BBTI, or Bendale), formerly Bendale Secondary School and Bendale Vocational School is a defunct specialized technical public high school that was located in Bendale, a neighbourhood in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada owned by the Scarborough Board of Education, that succeeded its operations into the present Toronto District School Board prior to merger. Existed from 1963 until its closure in 2019, it was the first vocational school that served in the former borough of Scarborough in which the school tailored for students with life skills or pursue career in the industry. The school's motto was Flourish Through Industry. The school merged with David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute in 2019, after which it was demolished with the former race track was replaced by the new school building. Bendale was located on the eastern corner of Midland Avenue north of Lawrence Avenue East.

Kennedy is both a terminal and interchange station on Line 2 Bloor–Danforth and Line 3 Scarborough of the Toronto subway system. Opened in 1980, it is located east of the Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue intersection. With the adjacent Kennedy GO station on the Stouffville line of GO Transit, Kennedy is an intermodal transit hub and the fifth busiest station in the system, after Bloor–Yonge, St. George, Sheppard–Yonge, and Union, serving a total of approximately 111,190 customer trips a day. The station's main complex consists of four floors with wheelchair accessible entrances. The ground level is the bus terminal surrounded with ten platforms that serve eleven Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus routes. Wi-Fi service is available at this station.Construction to expand the station began in 2017 to add a platform for the future Line 5 Eglinton, which will terminate at the station when its first phase opens in 2022. Further changes to the station are expected to take place during the 2020s as Line 3 is scheduled to be decommissioned and Line 2 is set to be extended to Scarborough City Centre. Until then, it will be the first station in the subway system to be an interchange for three lines.

R. H. King Academy (RH King, RHKA or King), formerly known as Scarborough High School, Scarborough Collegiate Institute and R.H. King Collegiate Institute is a secondary school and a de facto alternative school located in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, part of the Toronto District School Board. The school was established in 1922, then became a collegiate in 1930, renamed in 1954 and again in 1989. This school was named after Reginald Harold King (February 16, 1896 - November 4, 1962), a Canadian educator and classicist. It was the first secondary school built in the former township of Scarborough and second-oldest surviving institution in Scarborough, after Agincourt Collegiate Institute. The R. H. King school motto is "Per Ardua Sapientia" which translates into Through the hard task of wisdom.
