Pokrov Cemetery (Latvian: Pokrova kapi) is a 70,669 square metres (760,670 sq ft) wide cemetery in Riga built in 1773. The current owner of the cemetery is Shelter of Our Most Holy Lady Church who are renting the land. Two Red Army burial sites are located in the cemetery – a smaller one for the summer of 1941 and a bigger one for the years 1944–1946; as well as Russian Empire army's bed of honour dating from 1917. The cemetery also houses Ascension of Christ Church; the only Latvian Orthodox church in Riga where sermons are held in Latvian.

Riga Sports Palace (Latvian: Rīgas Sporta pils) was an ice hockey arena in Riga, Latvia. It was built in 1970 with 4,500 permanent seats with a total capacity of 5,500 including room for 500 standing spectators. In the 1970s and 1980s, it was the home arena for the renowned ice hockey club Dinamo Riga and also frequently hosted figure skating, basketball, and tennis events. From 1990 until 2006 it was the home to the Latvian national ice hockey team and until end of the 1990s was host of almost all Latvian Hockey League teams. However, since 2006 Latvian national ice hockey team has been played its home games in the 10,300-seat Arena Riga that was built to host the 2006 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships. Chief of arena for long term was legendary ice hockey player Helmuts Balderis. The last owner of arena Jānis Leimanis announced his plans to renew the arena and area near arena (starting at summer 2007). His aim was to make it more suitable for residential and commercial needs – to build flats, offices, hotels and keep renewed ice hall itself. Rīgas Sporta Pils was demolished in 2007.

The Riga French Lycée (Latvian: Rīgas Franču licejs, French: Lycée Français de Riga) is a French international school that was founded in September 1921 in Riga, Latvia. It is a school, where studies take place from grade 1 to 12 and the only school in Latvia, where French can be learned at an advanced level starting from primary school. The Great Cemetery (Latvian: Lielie kapi; German: Großer Friedhof) was formerly the principal cemetery of Riga in Latvia, established in 1773. It was the main burial ground of the Baltic Germans in Latvia. Extensive damage and removal of many headstones and graves by the Soviet authorities governing the Latvian SSR after 1945 led to the suspension of burials and the eventual conversion of the burial ground to a public park. Despite this, a significant number of old graves have survived. The 22-hectare property is owned by the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church.
