Pykhtino (Moscow Metro)

Michurinets is a railway station of Kiyevsky suburban railway line in Vnukovskoye Settlement of Moscow. It was opened in 1949 and was rebuilt in 2020. The station is named after nearly located dacha cooperative, which name is commemorating Russian botanist Ivan Michurin.

Vnukovo District (Russian: Внуково райо́н) is an administrative district (raion) of Western Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. Most of the district is occupied by Vnukovo International Airport, a small adjacent residential area, and a separate residential micro-district. The area of the district is 16.912 square kilometers (6.530 sq mi). Population: 20,100 (2017 est.).

Aeroflot Flight 19 was a scheduled passenger flight from Bykovo Airport, Moscow, to Bryansk Airport, Bryansk. On 2 November 1973, a Yak-40 aircraft operating the flight was hijacked by 4 people 10 minutes before landing. The aircraft was then diverted to Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, where the hijackers demanded a buyout and provision of a flight to Sweden. The hostages inside the aircraft were subsequently liberated after the authorities stormed the aeroplane. This is one of the first well-known cases of storming a hijacked aircraft on the territory of the USSR.

Vnukovo is a planned Moscow Metro station of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line. It will be located in Vnukovo International Airport and will open in 2023 along with Pykhtino metro station. According to the recent reports, it will be a ground station.

The 1969 Vnukovo Airport Il-18 crash was a plane crash at Vnukovo Airport on 26 August 1969. Of the 101 people on board, 16 were killed.

It is one of the four major airports that serve Moscow, along with Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky. In 2019, the airport handled 24.01 million passengers, representing an increase of 12% compared to the previous year. It is the tenth-busiest airport in Europe.

On 20 October 2014, Unijet Flight 074P, a Dassault Falcon 50 business jet taking off from Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, crashed into a snow plow that had strayed onto the runway, killing all four people on board. Among the victims was Total's Chairman and CEO Christophe de Margerie, who was returning to Paris, France.The driver of the snow removal vehicle, who was injured in the collision, was found to have alcohol in his blood and subsequently pleaded guilty to causing de Margerie's death.

Odintsovo is a railway station of Line D1 of the Moscow Central Diameters in Odintsovo, Moscow Oblast. It was opened in 1870 and will be rebuilt by 2024.

Odintsovsky District (Russian: Одинцо́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-six in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is located in the western central part of the oblast and borders with the federal city of Moscow in the east, Leninsky District in the southeast, Naro-Fominsky District in the south, Ruzsky District in the west, Istrinsky District in the north, and with Krasnogorsky District in the northeast. The area of the district is 1,289.628 square kilometers (497.928 sq mi). Its administrative center is the city of Odintsovo. Population: 316,696 (2010 Census); 286,033 (2002 Census); 129,343 (1989 Census). The population of Odintsovo accounts for 43.9% of the district's total population.

The Church of St. Igor of Chernigov (Russian: Церковь Святого Игоря Черниговского) is a Russian Orthodox church in the Novo-Peredelkino District of the Western Administrative Okrug in Moscow. It is dedicated to St. Igor of Chernigov and Kiev. It is located near the summer residence of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia in Novo-Peredelkino. The idea of building a large church next to the Patriarch's residence belonged to Patriarch Alexy II. In 2005, he approved the project and approved the decision to consecrate a temple in honor of St. Grand Prince Igor of Chernigov and Kiev. Patriarch Alexy pointed out the place and blessed the start of construction of the temple, which is in the same year launched by a Closed Joint Stock Company 'Baltic Construction Company'. The building was designed by Alexandr Shipkov. On January 20, 2010, Patriarch Kirill performed the rite of consecration of the foundation stone in the foundation of the temple of the Holy Prince Igor of Chernigov. On March 4, 2011, Patriarch Kirill of blessed the crosses and the bells of the church under construction. On June 17, 2012, Patriarch Kirill performed the rite of the great consecration of the cathedral church and served the first Divine Liturgy in the church. The church is designed for 1,200 people. The domes have bright colors and patterns harking back to Saint Basil's Cathedral. The church is included in the Mikhailovsky deanery of the Moscow Diocese.
