Newtown Presbyterian Church, also known as Old Presbyterian Church of Newtown, is a historic Presbyterian church complex and national historic district in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This old edifice is the second of four Presbyterian Church buildings erected in Newtown. The first was built in 1734, and William Tennent, the first minister, preached there one Sunday a month. The first pastor to be installed in Newtown took office in 1752. The church was erected in 1769 and remodeled in 1842. It is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular stone building in the Greek Revival style. A porch and two vestibules were added about 1880.In December 1776, because it was one of the largest buildings in town, General George Washington commandeered it and used it as a hospital, a jail and a P.O.W. “camp.” After the Battle of Trenton, several hundred Hessians were held there before they began their long march to Philadelphia where they would be exchanged for American soldiers. The small building on the south side of the church is the Session House. It was built about 1800, and is a 1 1/2-story, rubble fieldstone structure. It was used as a meeting place for the session, and is one of only two such buildings in the county still standing. Because most early session members were farmers and did not get to town except on Sunday, the Session House provided a quiet place for conducting church business.In back of the church is the church cemetery. It includes eight British flags marking the graves of men who fought in the French and Indian Wars. There are twenty-eight flags flying over the graves of church members who followed General Washington in the American Revolution. The graveyard is partially surrounded by a stone wall.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in July 1987.

They date from the late-17th century to the early-20th century and are reflective of a number of popular architectural styles including Greek Revival, Late Victorian, Federal, Queen Anne, and Gothic Revival. Notable buildings include the Chapman Buckman House and mill, Hart House, Newtown Hardware House, Keller Building, Jenks House (1828), White Hall Hotel, Temperance House (1774), Smock House (1792), the Brick Hotel, St. Luke's Church, LaRue Apartments (1838), and the Edward Hicks House. Located in the district and listed separately are the Half-Moon Inn and Friends Meeting House. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, with two boundary increases in 1986.

Half-Moon Inn, also known as the Court Inn and Thorton's Tavern, is a historic inn and tavern located at Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The original 1+1⁄2-story, stone and frame building was built in 1733. Subsequent additions occurred in 1740, 1757, and 1792. The portion at 101 Court Street is a 2+1⁄2-story, 3 bay, stone structure. It was restored in 1965 by the Newtown Historic Association. The portion at 105 Court Street has a stuccoed stone first story, with a timber frame second story added between 1825 and 1840. The building housed an inn and tavern until 1818, during which time Newtown served as the county seat. It houses the headquarters of the Newtown Historic Association and is open as a local history museum. The holdings include a special collection on early American folk painter, Edward Hicks (1780-1849).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Newtown Friends Meetinghouse and Cemetery is a historic Quaker meetinghouse and cemetery in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1817, and is a two-story, stuccoed stone building with a gable roof. It measures 60 feet by 40 feet, 6 bays long and 3 bays deep. A one-story porch was added in 1866, and the second floor was added in 1900. Also on the property is a contributing horse shed, built in 1819. Adjacent to the meeting house is the contributing cemetery.The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Clark Nature Center is a nature trail park within the Newtown Township, Pennsylvania, USA, just off Durham road (Route 413), USA. It was established in 1997, on land originally bought from the Leni Lenape Indians in 1683 by William Penn. The park covers an area of approximately 50.6 acres (20.5 ha), with a mixture of dirt and wood chipped nature trails. Two seasonal creeks run through the park. Park benches have been sited at various view points along the trail. Local wildlife includes wild turkey, deer, and occasionally foxes can be seen. The Newtown Creek, situated to the west across Swamp road, is a tributary of the Neshaminy Creek, running north to south, is the western boundary between the borough of Newtown and the township of Newtown.

Twining Farm, also known as the David and Elizabeth Twining Farm, is a historic home and farm located at Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The stone farmhouse was built in two stages. They are a 2+1⁄2-story, stone eastern section, with a later three-bay, 2+1⁄2-story western addition built in 1832. A frame wing and bow window were added about 1940. Also on the property are a contributing stable, chicken house, and bank barn complex. The farm was featured in three of four Newtown farmscape paintings by noted artist Edward Hicks (1780-1849). Hicks had resided for 10 years at the farm as the foster son of Elizabeth and David Twining.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Newtown station is a defunct railroad station in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Built by the Reading Railroad, it later served SEPTA Regional Rail's Fox Chase/Newtown Line. SEPTA closed the station in 1983.

David Leedom Farm, also known as "Pleasant Retreat," is a historic home and farm located at Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The house was built in four stages, with the oldest dated to the late 18th century and consisting of a one-story, one roof stone structure. A large, 2 1/2-story stone addition was built in the late-18th century. In 1802, a three-story, stone "mansion" section was added. A two-story, frame addition was built in the early 1800s. The house features a series of piazzas and the interior of the mansion section has a three-story staircase. Also on the property are a variety of contributing farm-related buildings. The house was featured in one of four Newtown farmscape paintings by noted artist Edward Hicks (1780-1849).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
