St. Mary's Hospital (Phoenix Park)

Knockmaree Dolmen, or Knockmaree Cist, is a prehistoric site of the Neolithic period, in Phoenix Park just north of Chapelizod, near Dublin, Ireland. Other forms of the name are Knockmary or Knockmaroon Dolmen, or Cnoc-Maraidhe.

The Deerfield Residence (formerly the Chief Secretary's Lodge) is the official residence of the United States Ambassador to Ireland. The premises has been the Ambassador's Official Residence since 1927, and was previously the Embassy of the United States of America in Ireland. Deerfield Residence is a large 18th-century building, sitting on 62 acres (250,000 m2) of private grounds in the centre of the Phoenix Park in Dublin. It sits across from the official residence of the President of Ireland, Áras an Uachtaráin.Claire D. Cronin is the current ambassador to Ireland.

The Anna Livia Bridge (Irish: Droichead Abhainn na Life, meaning 'The River Liffey Bridge'), formerly Chapelizod Bridge (Irish: Droichead Shéipéal Iosóid, meaning 'Isolde's Chapel Bridge'), is a road bridge spanning the River Liffey in Chapelizod, Dublin, Ireland which joins the Lucan Road to Chapelizod Road.

Chapelizod (Irish: Séipéal Iosóid, meaning 'Iseult's Chapel') is a village preserved within the city of Dublin, Ireland. It lies in the wooded valley of the River Liffey, near the Strawberry Beds and the Phoenix Park. The village is associated with Iseult of Ireland and the location of Iseult's chapel. Chapelizod is under the administration of Dublin City Council.

Cloghran (Irish: Clochrán) is a civil parish in the ancient barony of Coolock in Ireland. It consists of eight townlands: Baskin, Cloghran, Clonshagh, Corballis, Middletown, Springhill, Stockhole, Toberbunny. According to Lewis' 1837 survey, "Limestone abounds, and near the church is a quarry in which various fossils are found; under this quarry are copper and lead ores, but neither has yet been profitably worked. Baskin Hill, the seat of J. Tymons, Esq., was built by the present Bishop of Dromore, who resided there while rector of St. Doulough's ; and Castle Moat, the seat of J. Mac Owen, Esq., takes its name from an extensive moat, or rath, within the demesne, from which is a fine view of the country towards the village of the Man-of-War and the sea, including Lambay Island, Ireland's Eye, Howth, and the Dublin and Wicklow mountains.". Much of the land in the parish lies between Dublin Airport to the west and the M1 motorway to the east.

Cloghran is a civil parish in the ancient barony of Castleknock in Ireland. According to Lewis' 1837 survey, "This place, which originally belonged to the priory of All Saints, passed, on the dissolution of that house, with its other possessions, to the mayor and corporation of Dublin". The parish consists of three townlands: Ballycoolen, Cloghran and Grange. Most of the land in the parish is taken up with the "Ballycoolen Industrial Estate".

The Phoenix Park (Irish: Páirc an Fhionnuisce) is a large urban park in Dublin, Ireland, lying 2–4 kilometres (1.2–2.5 mi) west of the city centre, north of the River Liffey. Its 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) perimeter wall encloses 707 hectares (1,750 acres) of recreational space. It includes large areas of grassland and tree-lined avenues, and since the 17th century has been home to a herd of wild fallow deer. The Irish Government is lobbying UNESCO to have the park designated as a world heritage site.

Inchicore Railway Works, also known locally as 'Inchicore' or 'The Works', was founded by the Great Southern & Western Railway in 1846 and emerged to become the major engineering centre for railways in Ireland. Located c. 3km west of Dublin city centre, the works cover an area of approximately 73 acres (300,000 m2).The works are responsible for the overhaul, repair, servicing, spraying and washing of locomotives and rolling stock. In the past, the manufacture, assembly and rebuild of locomotives and rolling stock has been performed at Inchicore.

Ballyfermot (Irish: Baile Formaid) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is located seven kilometres (5 miles) west of the city centre, south of Phoenix Park. It is bordered by Chapelizod on the north, by Bluebell on the south, by Inchicore on the east, and by Palmerstown and Clondalkin on the west. The River Liffey lies to the north, and the Grand Canal, now a recreational waterway, lies to the south of Ballyfermot. Ballyfermont lies within the postal district Dublin 10. Cherry Orchard, which is also a suburb, is sometimes considered to be within Ballyfermot. Ballyfermot is also known as a civil parish in the barony of Uppercross.

Inchicore (Irish: Inse Chór) is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. Located approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) west of the city centre, Inchicore was originally a small village separate from Dublin. The village developed around Richmond Barracks (built 1810) and Inchicore railway works (built 1846), before being incorporated into the expanding city bounds. Inchicore is a largely residential area and is home to the association football club St Patrick's Athletic FC.

Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is a Roman Catholic church at NW side of the roundabout where Kylemore and Ballyfermot roads meet in Ballyfermot, Dublin, Ireland. St. Raphael's National School is beside it.

Kylemore College is a secondary school in Ballyfermot, Dublin, Ireland. It is a gender mixed school and is a CDETB school. It also offers PLC courses. Kylemore College was established in 1965 by the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee (CDVEC) as a vocational school. Over the years Kylemore College has changed and developed into a co-educational college.
