Oakgrove Integrated College is an integrated secondary school based in Derry, Northern Ireland.

The A515 Skeoge Link is a road in Northern Ireland which was designed to complete the route between Foyle Bridge in County Londonderry and County Donegal. It is part of a larger project to link County Donegal with Belfast. The total construction cost was £5 million.

Ballyoan Cemetery is a cemetery in Derry, Northern Ireland. Ballyoan Cemetery is located on a hillside off the Rossdowney Road, Waterside, Derry. It looks out over the River Foyle and the city towards the Donegal Mountains. This cemetery was planned due to the fulness of the City Cemetery and the Altnagelvin Cemetery (instituted 1960). In the mid-1990s, over 400 human remains were found at the Waterside Workhouse, Derry Workhouse. These remains, believed to be of people who died during the Famine, were later interred in this cemetery.This cemetery is not segregated like many others. Derry City Council planned and built a Temple of Rest, on site but later changed its purpose to a Cemetery Caretaker's residence and then to a storage facility for Council equipment. It is now empty and redundant.

The Foyle Bridge is a bridge in Derry, Northern Ireland. The central span of the bridge is the longest on the island of Ireland, at 234 metres (767 ft), and the whole suspended bridge structure including the approach spans is 866 metres long (2839 ft).It crosses the River Foyle to the north of the city, and forms only the second of three bridges linking the city centre to the Waterside, the others being the Craigavon Bridge and the Peace Bridge walkway. Work on the bridge began in 1980 and it opened in October 1984. The seven approach spans on the east bank are of pre-stressed concrete box construction. The three main river spans are of steel box construction and were built by Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast in 6 segments, weighed up to 900 tonnes each, and then transported by barge and oceangoing tug to site where they were lifted into position. Between 2003 and 2005 the bridge underwent strengthening, resurfacing and other improvements, leading to widespread traffic disruption in the city. Total cost of the refurbishment work was £10.6 million. The road was built to four-lane dual carriageway standard, and carries the A515. By 2004 more than 30,000 vehicles used the bridge every day. The bridge was built for the Roads Service of Northern Ireland by RDL- John Graham (Dromore) Joint Venture, with the consulting engineers being Ove Arup and Partners including D. C. Black Ltd. The value of the four-year construction contract was £15,765,000. It was the first bridge in Ireland to be built according to a "Design and Construct" system, whereby the same firm designed and constructed the bridge.

Enagh Lough (from Irish Loch Eanach 'marshy lake') is a pair of lakes called East lake and Westlake, situated between Judges Road and Temple Road in Maydown, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

Crescent Link Retail Park is a retail park located in the East side of Derry, Northern Ireland. It is located on the east side of the A514, which itself is named Crescent Link and the name given to the retail park. The development is located 3 miles (4.8 km) from the centre of the city centre. It is the largest retail park of its kind in County Londonderry, with a large representation of multi-national retailers, such as Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Homebase, B&M, The Range and Currys

Foyle College is a co-educational non-denominational voluntary grammar school in Derry, Northern Ireland. The school's legal name is Foyle and Londonderry College. In 1976, two local schools, Foyle College and Londonderry High School, merged under the Foyle and Londonderry College Act 1976 to form Foyle and Londonderry College. In 2011, the Board of Governors re-branded the school as 'Foyle College' and updated the school's crest.

Boom Hall is a house and demesne in Derry, Northern Ireland. Lying close to the west bank of the River Foyle, a fort was constructed on the site during the English Civil War. During the Williamite War in Ireland a boom was constructed across the river to try to prevent Williamite forces relieving the Siege of Derry. A two-storey country house was subsequently built on the site by the Alexander family and named after this boom. The estate was later leased to a number of people until a leasehold was sold to Daniel Baird in 1849 by The 3rd Earl of Caledon. This was inherited by Daniel Baird Maturin-Baird who also purchased the freehold from the Alexanders. Boom Hall was again let to a number of different people, with Michael Henry McDevitt living there from 1924. During the Second World War, the demesne was used by the Admiralty and a number of temporary huts were built there. McDevitt purchased the freehold in 1949 and the house was renovated. It fell into disuse in the 1960s and was almost destroyed by fire in the 1970s. Part of the estate was used for the construction of the Foyle Bridge. The property was purchased by Derry City Council in 1997 though it remains a fenced-off shell. There are two current proposals to renovate the house; one as part of a recreational park described as being in the style of the Eden Project, and one as a community hub for outdoor activities. The council is developing a redevelopment brief that will seek to partner with one or more parties to redevelop the site.

Thornhill College is a Roman Catholic grammar school for girls. Located in Derry, Northern Ireland, it has a student population of approximately 1500 and a staff of 100 teachers.

The Waterside (Ulster-Scots: Wattèrbroo, Irish: Taobh an Uisce) generally refers to the part of Derry on the east bank of the River Foyle. Traditionally, the Waterside ends at the Caw roundabout near the Foyle Bridge. Areas such as Eglinton and Limavady are not part of the Waterside. The Waterside is a mainly Protestant and unionist area, while the rest of Derry City is mainly Irish Catholic and nationalist. During the Troubles, the Waterside's Protestant population grew, probably as a result of Protestants moving there from the west side of the river.The Waterside contains the city's main hospital, Altnagelvin, as well as St. Columb's Park and the former Ebrington Military Barracks. It is linked to the west side of the city via the Foyle Bridge, Craigavon Bridge, and the Peace Bridge.

Strathfoyle (from Irish: Srath Feabhail) is a village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland It is about 5 miles (8.0 km) north east of Derry. It was newly built in different phases between the late 1950s and the early 1960s, with many new recent additions to the village, including Westlake, Butler's Wharf and Old Fort. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 1,581 people. It is within the Derry Urban Area and the Derry City Council area. The village has a small retail outlet (a pharmacy, a supermarket, a fast food take-away and a beauticians), a Roman Catholic chapel, a library, youth club and a post office. The small retail unit was constructed in 2005 following years of under-investment in the area and pressure by local community leaders to provide more facilities for its residents.
