Manzanares Park (in Spanish: Parque del Manzanares) is a large, 650 Ha. park in the south of Madrid, Spain. It follows the Manzanares River, backbone of the park, for fifteen km between the Casa de Campo and the town of Getafe The first part (Primer Tramo) of the park was inaugurated on April 29, 2003. The rest of the Park is under construction. The most significant areas of the finished part are: The Green Square (Plaza Verde), a wooden amphitheatre structure. The Alley of Senses (Paseo de los Sentidos), which goes along the river and is planted with palm trees, oak, cork, olive trees and other mediterranean species. The Umbráculo. The Watchtower (Atalaya), a pyramid-like structure with a 13-metre-high (43 ft) sculpture by Manolo Valdés on top representing the head of a woman looking at the city. The Pérgola. The Sports Area, with several football, basketball and handball fields. The Loop, a six-metre-wide (20 ft) way around the park. The Belvedere Park.

Saint Isidore Cemetery is a monumental cemetery in the Spanish capital Madrid. Its first courtyard was erected in 1811 and new expansions were added throughout the 19th Century. Its central courtyard, called “Patio de la Concepción” (Conception courtyard) boasts a notable group of mausolea. This cemetery is the resting place of many famous Spaniards, such as artists, politicians or poets.

The Vicente Calderón Stadium (Spanish: Estadio Vicente Calderón [esˈtaðjo βiˈθente kaldeˈɾon]) was the home stadium of Atlético Madrid from its completion in 1966 to 2017, with a seating capacity of 54,907 and located on the banks of the Manzanares, in the Arganzuela district of Madrid, Spain. The stadium was originally called the Estadio Manzanares, but this was later changed to the Vicente Calderón Stadium, in honour of their long-term President Vicente Calderón. The stadium closed in 2017 after the conclusion of the 2016-17 season, with Atlético Madrid moving to Metropolitano Stadium for the following season. Demolition began in 2019 and completed the following year. A notable, and rather spectacular feature of the Vicente Calderón, was that the M-30 dual carriageway, running from the South Node Toledo Bridge, passed below one of the main stands.

Quinta del Sordo (English: Villa of the Deaf One), or Quinta de Goya, was an extensive estate and country house situated on a hill in the old municipality of Carabanchel on the outskirts of Madrid. The house is best known as the home of Francisco de Goya, where he painted 14 murals known as the Black Paintings. Contrary to popular belief, the estate was given its name due to the deafness of a prior owner, not Goya himself, who was deafened by illness in 1792. The house was demolished in 1909.

The British Cemetery in Madrid (Cementerio británico de Madrid or Cementerio de los Ingleses) was opened in 1854 in the Carabanchel district of Madrid, Spain, and the first burials took place that year. Few burials take place in the cemetery today because it is full, but there is provision for the interment of cremated remains.The cemetery is similar to many other such British cemeteries which came into existence after the Reformation when governments and religious authorities excluded those not of their prescribed faith from burial in their consecrated ground.In the century and a half of the cemetery's existence, Anglican, Protestant, Orthodox, and Jews, who died in Madrid have been buried there. In all, the remains of about 1000 people are interred in the cemetery. About half are the remains are of British nationals, 63 Germans, 49 Americans, 30 Spanish, 28 Swiss, 27 French, with the rest from a further 37 nations. There are Commonwealth war graves of three British Army personnel of World War I and a Royal Air Force officer of World War II.Notable burials include Alice Bache Gould, Charles Clifford, Irakli Bagration of Mukhrani, Walter Shirlaw and Walter Starkie.

Puerta del Ángel (Angel's Gate) is a station on Line 6, located beneath the Paseo de Extremadura near the Puente de Segovia (Bridge of Segovia) in the district of Latina. It is located in fare Zone A. The station is named after the Puerta del Ángel neighborhood, which is in turn named after a former access gate to the Casa de Campo park.

The Bridge of Segovia (Spanish: Puente de Segovia) is a bridge located in Madrid, Spain, crossing the Manzanares river. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1996.Designed by Juan de Herrera under commission of King Philip II of Spain, it was built from 1582 to 1584 with a total of nine spans. It cost 200,000 ducats. The bridge is composed of bricks of granite.
