Helvick

Ballynagaul (Irish: Baile na nGall, its official name) is a Gaeltacht area within the Irish-speaking Gaeltacht na nDéise part of County Waterford. Comprising the townlands of Baile na nGall Mór and Baile na nGall Beag (Ballynagaul More and Ballynagaul Beg), it is located approximately 9.6 kilometres southeast of Dungarvan. The village of Ring is located in the area.Ballynagaul contains a pub (Tig an Ceoil), a shop, a playground known as 'An Imearlann', a small restaurant, a fishing pier (Cé Bhaile na nGall), and a beach. "Criostal na Rinne", a workshop where hand-cut glassware is made is also located in Baile na nGall.

Rinn Ó gCuanach CLG is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the Irish speaking (Gaeltacht) area of Ring, County Waterford, Ireland. The club fields teams of both GAA codes, including two adult Gaelic football teams and two adult hurling teams in the Waterford County Championships. It is one of a small number of dual clubs at senior level in the county, competing in the Senior Hurling and Senior Football championships. The club's second string teams take part in the Waterford Junior Hurling and Football championships.

Abbeyside–Ballincourty GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Abbeyside, County Waterford, Ireland. The club plays both hurling and Gaelic football and competes in both senior codes in County Waterford. The club in its present incarnation was formed from the merger of Abbeyside Hurling Club and Ballinacourty Football club in 1967. In essence, the present club can trace its way back to 1927 when Abbeyside Hurling Club was formed. Ballinacourty Football Club was formed later in 1947. The club still uses two separate names depending on which sport they are playing. The name Abbeyside is still used as the name for its hurling teams, while its football teams still go under the name of Ballinacourty. The club was the 2007 Waterford club of the year

Ballinacourty, officially Ballynacourty (Irish: Baile na Cúirte, meaning 'town of the court or Courtown'), is a rural area and townland on the southern coast of Ireland near Dungarvan, County Waterford.

Gaeltacht na nDéise is a Gaeltacht area in County Waterford consisting of the areas of Ring and Old Parish. It is located 10 km from the town of Dungarvan. Gaeltacht na nDéise has a population of 1,816 people (Census 2016) and encompasses a geographical area of 62 km2. This represents 1% of total Gaeltacht area.

Ring (Irish: An Rinn, its official name) or Ringagonagh (Irish: Rinn Ó gCuanach [ˈɾˠiːṉʲ ˈoː ˈɡuənˠəx]) is a parish within the Irish-speaking Gaeltacht na nDéise area in County Waterford, Ireland. It lies on a peninsula about eleven kilometres (7 mi) south of Dungarvan. The main settlement is the village of Ring or Ringville, which is within the townland of Ballynagaul. It is a growing area that has three schools – two primary (including Scoil na Leanaí in Coláiste na Rinne, an Irish language boarding school) and one secondary school, Meánscoil San Nioclás. There are also a post office, restaurants, pubs and other businesses. There are two fishing piers/harbours (Ballynagaul and Helvick), two beaches (The Cunnigar and Ballynagaul) and a cove at Helvick. It is the only Gaeltacht in Waterford, and the only one in the south-east of Ireland.

Clonea Castle was in Clonea parish in the historical barony of Decies-without-Drum in south County Waterford, Ireland. Located in Clonea Lower townland, roughly two and a half miles east of Dungarvan, the castle lay on a rocky outcrop at the edge of the shore by Clonea Beach. It was owned by the Maguire (McGuire) family.The structure's entry in National Monuments Service records indicate that it was "not an antiquity", but was built in the late 18th or early 19th century, possibly on the site of an earlier Fitzgerald family fortification. While some of the structure remained into the late 20th century, the remaining ruins were largely destroyed by a winter storm in 1990.Journalist and politician Muriel Bowen (1926–2000) was born on the Clonea Castle estate.

Ballinroad (Irish: Baile an Rodaigh, meaning 'Rod's town') is a village approximately 3 km from Dungarvan, County Waterford on the south coast of Ireland. Ballinroad grew rapidly during the Celtic tiger era and is now one of Dungarvan's main dormitory areas.

The R674 road is a regional road in County Waterford, Ireland. It runs from the N25 near Dungarvan eastwards through Ring and ending at Helvick Head.

The Waterford Raceway (also known as the pike!) is a 1/3 mile tarmac oval motorsport race track off the main Waterford—Cork road near Dungarvan, Ireland. The motor racing circuit was opened in the 1970s and hosted hot rod racing. It is open from March to December every year with a race meeting approximately once a month and with a Christmas meeting on Stephen's day. There are many classes of cars racing each day from first level junior drivers in 1 litre cars up to a top level 3.5 litre super car class. Junior drivers can race from the age of ten in restricted car's. Each meeting classes race for the days trophies and cups and also for championship points in a year long battle to become top of each class with the overall winner being crowned king/queen of the pike.

Old Parish (Irish: An Sean Phobal) is a village in west County Waterford, Ireland. It is part of the Gaeltacht in Waterford Gaeltacht na nDéise.

Waterford County Museum (Irish: Músaem Contae Phort Láirge) is a museum documenting the history of County Waterford. The museum is located in the Old Town Hall, Dungarvan.
