The David Robbins House is a historic house at 26285 Broadkill Road in Milton, Delaware. The two story vernacular wood-frame house was built c. 1850, and is one of a few from the period to survive in the area. The house was bought in 1925 by Charles G. Jones, an innovator in Delaware's holly industry.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

It sits on a brick foundation has a lower rear wing, and has a two-story front portico with scroll-cut wooden decoration.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is located in the Milton Historic District.

It includes 188 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Milton. The district includes much of Union, Federal, Broad, Chestnut, and Mill Streets, and encompasses a wide variety of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings from the late-18th century to the early-20th century. Union, Broad and Chestnut Streets include many examples of Gothic Revival and vernacular building styles popular in the 19th century, while Federal Street is noted for larger homes that include many Second Empire, Queen Anne, and Federal style homes, as well as Gothic Revival and vernacular styles. Notable non-residential buildings on Union Street include the Lydia B. Cannon Museum building (formerly Grace Church, 1859), the "Irish Eyes" restaurant (two storefronts built in 1910), and the Milton Theater (1939). On Federal Street, there are the Sussex Trust, Title and Safe Deposit Company building (1901, now housing a hair salon), and the Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist (1877).. Located in the district and separately listed are the Draper-Adkins House, Hazzard House, and Gov. James Ponder House.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, with a boundary increase in 2022.

Gov. James Ponder House is a historic home located at Milton, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built about 1875, and is a three-story, five-bay, Victorian townhouse. It features a mansard roof and has a center hall plan. The front facade features a full-width verandah. It was the home of Delaware Governor James Ponder (1819-1897). The building now houses a mortuary and rear additions were made to accommodate that use.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is located in the Milton Historic District.

Cedar Creek Hundred is a "hundred" located in Sussex County, Delaware (USA) that was established in 1702. The counties of Delaware were originally divided into Hundreds based on the English use of dividing up counties. On October 25, 1682, William Penn directed that Delaware be divided into hundreds for the purposes of taxation. A "hundred" is an old English Saxon land division which is smaller than a county or shire and larger than a tithing. It comprised ten tithings of ten freeholder families each – one hundred families. The hundreds of Delaware originally served as judicial or legislative districts, but now they remain only as a basis for property tax assessment. Originally, there were five hundreds in New Castle County, five in Kent County, and two in Sussex County. As the population grew, several of the hundreds divided, creating new hundreds. By 1875, the total number of hundreds had grown to thirty-three. Since then, there have been no more changes. Cedar Creek Hundred was originally known as Cedar Hook Hundred. Before 1683, that part of the Hundred lying north of Cedar Creek formed part of St. Jones County, now known as Kent County. When the Mispillion River was made the northern boundary of Sussex County, the northern part of the present Hundred was consolidated with the southern part lying between Cedar Creek and Primehook Creek.

Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge is a sanctuary for migratory birds located east of Milton, Delaware, United States. It was established by President John F. Kennedy in 1963 on 10,000 acres (40 km2) along the western shore of Delaware Bay. The refuge contains a variety of habitats, including freshwater and salt marshes, woodlands, grasslands, ponds, and forested areas, supporting 267 species of birds and a variety of reptiles, amphibians and mammals.Fowler Beach, along the Eastern edge of the refuge, is an official sanctuary for horseshoe crabs, the state marine animal of Delaware and a "signature species" of the Delaware Bay Estuary.The refuge is open to the public for wildlife-oriented recreation. Facilities include walking trails, a canoe trail, a bird blind and other wildlife observation areas, and a visitor center.

Argos Corner (also referred to as Argo Corners) is an unincorporated community in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. Argos Corner is located along Delaware Route 1 (DE 1) southeast of Milford. It is a neighborhood consisting of one main road (Argos Corner Road), which used to be old DE 14. Argos Corner Road is perpendicular to Slaughter Beach Road. There are two businesses on Argos Corner Road: Taylor Marine Center (a boating store and repair center), and War Relics (a store specializing in the sale of military relics and paraphernalia). Former Delaware Governor Ruth Ann Minner once lived in Argos Corner.

Cedar Creek is a 10.5-mile-long (16.9 km) stream and estuary of Delaware Bay in Cumberland County, New Jersey in the United States.It rises in Lawrence Township and flows through Lummistown, where it is dammed twice to form the Lummis Lakes. It is dammed again at Cedarville to form Cedar Lake, below which it enters the marshes and becomes tidal. Fresh Creek, now mostly turned to marsh, ran south to connect it to Middle Brook and cut off Jones Island. Bowers Creek and Howells Creek discharge into it among the marshlands before it empties into Nantuxent Cove of Delaware Bay.
