The Bolivarian Museum (Spanish: Museo Bolivariano) is dedicated to Simón Bolívar, the hero of Latin American independence. It is situated in Caracas, Venezuela. The museum is run in tandem with the birthplace of Simón Bolívar next door. The collections include items related to Bolivar and Venezuelan independence.

Nuevo Circo is a Caracas Metro station on Line 4. It was opened on 19 July 2006 as part of the inaugural section of the line between Capuchinos and Zona Rental. The station is located between Teatros and Parque Central.

The Palacio de Justicia de Caracas is a government complex straddling Avenida Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela. It houses numerous courtrooms and judicial facilities serving the metropolitan area. Designed by Carlos Gómez de Llarena in 1983, it became functional in 2004.

Parque Carabobo is a Caracas Metro station on Line 1. It was opened on 27 March 1983 as part of the extension of Line 1 from La Hoyada to Chacaíto. The station is between La Hoyada and Bellas Artes.

The Caracas Cathedral or Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Anne is the seat of the Roman Catholic Metropolitan archdiocese of Caracas, located on the Plaza Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela. Its chapel of the Holy Trinity is the burial site of the parents and wife of Simón Bolívar. The Nuestra Senora de Venezuela y Santa Ana is a square (cuadra) situated between the cathedral and the central plaza, which is walled on three sides, but open to the east where it faces the cathedral.

The Basilica of Santa Capilla (Spanish: Basílica Menor Santa Capilla) It is a Roman Catholic basilica in Caracas, Venezuela located at the corner of Santa Capilla on Avenida Urdaneta. It is located in the historic center of the city, in the Cathedral Parish of Libertador Municipality. On February 16, 1979 was declared a National Historic Landmark. Its construction was ordered by President Antonio Guzman Blanco in 1883, to the architect Juan Hurtado Manrique, with reference to the Sainte Chapelle in Paris. The new church of Santa Capilla replaced the old hermitage of San Sebastián that had been erected in 1568 and then dedicated to Saint Maurice in 1640, but only a year later is destroyed by an earthquake in 1667 it rebuilds the church with elements simple as wood and bricks. In 1812 another earthquake almost completely destroyed the church beginning its reconstruction. In 1921 an expansion that included two aisles is made, and the August 5, 1926 is designated as Minor Basilica by Pope Pius XI. Inside the basilica they are buried some people.

The Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Caracas is the Latin an ecclesiastical territory of the Roman Catholic Church in part of Venezuela. It was founded as the Diocese of Caracas on June 20, 1637, and was later elevated to the rank of a Metropolitan see on November 27, 1803. This episcopal see occupies a territory of about 790 square kilometers and is not unlikely to be given several auxiliary bishops. The most recent Metropolitan Archbishop had been Jorge Urosa, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI on September 19, 2005 (and elevated to Cardinal in 2006); retirement accepted July 9, 2018 by Pope Francis. Baltazar Enrique Porras Cardozo was also appointed as Apostolic Administrator at the same day. Its cathedral episcopal see is the Catedral Metropolitana de Santa Ana, in national capital Caracas, Distrito Federal, which also has three Minor Basilicas: Basílica de Santa Teresa, Basílica San Pedro Apóstol and Basílica Santuario de Santa Capilla (also a National Shrine).

The Libertador Bolivarian Municipality (Spanish: Municipio Bolivariano Libertador) is the only administrative division of the Capital District and along with the municipalities of Baruta, Chacao, El Hatillo and Sucre forms the Metropolitan District of Caracas. It is landlocked by Vargas State and also borders Miranda State on the east and south. The municipality is one of a number in Venezuela named "Libertador Municipality", in honour of Venezuelan independence hero Simón Bolívar. Libertador is one of the smallest municipalities in Venezuela, with a total area of 438 square kilometres (169 sq mi). It is the largest in terms of population, with approximately 2.1 million inhabitants. In this municipality is home to the Miraflores presidential palace, the Federal Legislative Palace, the National Electoral Council, the main offices of PDVSA and CANTV, the Central Bank of Venezuela and the public ministry.

Bolívar Square (Spanish: Plaza Bolívar) in Caracas is one of the most important and recognized Venezuelan public spaces. It is located in the center of the first 25 blocks of Caracas when it was founded as "Santiago de León de Caracas" in 1567. It is in the historic center of the city in the Cathedral Parish of the Libertador Municipality. Bolívar Square is surrounded by important buildings such as Caracas Cathedral, Sacred Museum, Archbishop's Palace, City Hall, Chapel of Santa Rosa de Lima, the Yellow House, the Main Theater and the building of the Government of the Capital District. The Federal Legislative Palace stands to the Southwest.

La Candelaria is one of the 22 parishes located in the Libertador Bolivarian Municipality and one of 32 of Caracas, Venezuela.

The Palacio Municipal de Caracas, or Consejo Municipal de Caracas, is the city hall of Caracas, Venezuela. It is located on the corner of Gradillas a Monjas opposite the Plaza Bolívar, occupying half of the plaza's southern section. The building dates from the seventeenth century but now bears the mark of Alejandro Chataing's Neoclassical additions in 1906. It was the focal point for the Constitutional Convention, and signing of the Declaration of Independence in the nineteenth century (declared on 5 July 1811 and hence known as the "cradle of independence"). The present building is the result of the work undertaken by the Venezuelan architect Alejandro Chataing in 1906. The west wing of the building, the Capilla de Santa Rosa de Lima (Santa Rosa chapel), the chapel where Venezuela's independence was declared in 1811, has been fully restored and furnished with authentic period pieces. The ground floor houses the Museo Caracas (Caracas Museum), which contains works by Venezuela's most celebrated painters and many other historic artifacts. It was declared a National Historic Landmark on 16 February 1979.

Iglesia de San Francisco ("San Francisco church") is a church in Caracas, Venezuela. Dedicated to Francis of Assisi, it was built in 1593 under the design of Antonio Ruiz Ullán as an annex of the Convent of San Francisco (now the Palacio de las Academias). The church is notable as being the situ where Simón Bolívar received the title "El Libertador" (1813). His funeral occurred here in 1842. During the 1900 San Narciso earthquake, the church was severely damaged.
