Folsom Borough School District

Jacobus Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic church on Mays Landing Road and Route 54 in Folsom, Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1852 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Folsom is a borough in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Geographically, the city, and all of Atlantic County, is part of the South Jersey region and of the Atlantic City-Hammonton metropolitan statistical area, which in turn is included in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,811, a decrease of 74 (−3.9%) from the 2010 census count of 1,885, which in turn reflected a decline of 87 (−4.4%) from the 1,972 counted in the 2000 census. Folsom was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on May 23, 1906, from portions of Buena Vista Township. The borough was named for Frances Folsom, wife of President Grover Cleveland. New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Folsom as its 19th best place to live in its 2008 rankings of the "Best Places To Live" in New Jersey.

Plagido's Winery is a winery located in Hammonton in Atlantic County, New Jersey. A family produce farm since the late 19th century, the vineyard was first planted in 1999, and opened to the public in 2007. The winery was originally known as "Placido's Winery," but the name was changed in 2008 because of winery with a similar name exists in Tuscany. Plagido has 14 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 4,200 cases of wine per year. The winery is named after the owner's great-grandfather, who emigrated from Italy in the late 19th century, and started a farm in Hammonton.

Penny Pot is an unincorporated community within the borough of Folsom in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

Collings Lakes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Buena Vista Township in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 census, Collings Lakes had a population of 1,501. Collings Lakes is not an incorporated municipality, though homes in the neighborhood are subject to certain deed restrictions and to the Collings Lakes Civic Association. Homeowners are not required to become members of the Civic Association, nor are they required to comply with CLCA bylaws. Homeowners are required to pay an annual tiered fee for "maintenance of lakes, dams and beaches". Membership in the CLCA is voluntary per New Jersey Superior Court ruling on September 15, 2006.

DiMatteo Vineyards is a winery located in Hammonton in Atlantic County, New Jersey. Formerly a family produce farm, the vineyard was first planted in 2000, and opened to the public in 2002. In 2010, the winery moved its headquarters to a new location in Hammonton. DiMatteo has 14 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 1,500 cases of wine per year. The winery is named after the family that owns it.

Outer Coastal Plain is an American Viticultural Area (AVA) located in southernmost New Jersey. It was established as the nation's 186th and the state's third wine appellation on February 9, 2007 by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Treasury after reviewing the petition submitted by James Quarella of Bellview Winery, Frank Selak of Sylvin Winery, Larry Coia of Coia Vineyard and Dante Romanini of Panther Branch Vineyard on behalf of themselves and local vintners proposing a viticultural area in southeastern New Jersey known as "Outer Coastal Plain." The 2.25-million-acre (3,516 sq mi) appellation is roughly triangle-shaped and comprises the eastern and southernmost New Jersey regions. Outer Coastal Plain is one of five defined physiographic regions of New Jersey. The other regions are the Inner Coastal Plain, the Newark Basin Piedmont, the Highlands, and the Appalachian Valley and Ridge. Outer Coastal Plain includes the Atlantic coastline and the area known as the "Pinelands" or "Pine Barrens." It encompasses all of Cumberland, Cape May, Atlantic, and Ocean Counties and portions of Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, and Monmouth Counties. The region is characterized by well-drained sandy or sandy loam soils of low to moderate fertility, and a relatively long growing season. The climate is moderated by the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay. The plant hardiness zones range from 7a to 8a. In 2017, Outer Coastal Plain was expanded approximately 32,932 acres (51 sq mi) to include all or portions of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Monmouth, Ocean and Salem counties after the TTB reviewed the petition from John and Jane Giunco, owners of 4JG's Orchards and Vineyards in Colts Neck, New Jersey. The viticultural area and the expansion does not lie within another viticultural area. The 126,635-acre (198 sq mi) Cape May Peninsula viticultural area was established by the TTB in 2018 as a sub-appellation within the southernmost tip of Outer Coast Plain where its petition specified that the new AVA, bordered entirely by water and the New Jersey Pinelands, has its own unique terroir.

Hammonton is an active commuter railroad station in the town of Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey. Located between the grade crossings of Line Street and 11th Street in Hammonton, the station services trains of New Jersey Transit's Atlantic City Line, which operates between 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Atlantic City Rail Terminal in the eponymous Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hammonton station consists of a single side platform with a shelter that contains a ticket vending machine and a 228 space parking lot operated by New Jersey Transit, free of charge to riders. New Jersey Transit operates the 554 bus route between Lindenwold station and the Atlantic City Bus Terminal, making all stops at Atlantic City Line stations. Connection to the 554 is available at the junction of Egg Harbor Road (County Route 602) and Bellevue Avenue. Amtrak Thruway bus service, operated by New Jersey Transit, via 30th Street Station and South Jersey Transportation Authority's Route 54/40 Community Shuttle also service Hammonton station. The shuttle connects riders in Hamilton to Buena Vista Township on weekdays, where connections are available to Cape May and Wildwood.

The Blue Hole is located in the Pinelands of Monroe Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey and Winslow Township, Camden County, New Jersey. It is a clear blue body of water situated in the middle of a dense forest, with many similar such lakes in its immediate vicinity. The water has warm and cold spots, averaging 58 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The lake's color is unusual, as most lakes and ponds in the area are brownish due to large deposits of bog iron and the presence of tannic acid. The Blue Hole is circular and about 70 feet (21 m) across. In the 1930s, the Blue Hole was a popular party and swimming spot. A wooden footbridge over the Great Egg Harbor River that once made the Hole easily accessible was wiped out by a storm in the 1960s; now it can only be reached on foot. The Blue Hole has been largely abandoned. There are many other 'blue holes' in the immediate vicinity, as well as quicksand and other seasonal ponds and lakes that form from springs seeping from high water table levels. The Blue Hole is not to be confused with the numerous former quarries in the area, which are much larger and have a vibrant sky blue color. At its deepest point, the Blue Hole is 100 feet (30 m) The bottom appears to consist of sand rather than mud. Swimming and diving in the Blue Hole are both illegal, but not enforced. It remains a popular swimming spot during the summer.

WGYM (1580 kHz) is a non-commercial AM radio station broadcasting a religious format aimed at Catholic listeners. The station is licensed to Hammonton, New Jersey, and serves parts of Atlantic County and Camden County. The station is owned by the Domestic Church Media Foundation, which also owns three other stations, also in New Jersey: WFJS in Trenton, WFJS-FM in Freehold, and WSMJ in North Wildwood. All four broadcast Catholic programming, mostly supplied by the EWTN Radio Network. WGYM operates at 1,000 watts by day from a transmitter located off Grand Street South. Because AM 1580 is a clear channel frequency reserved for Canada, WGYM must reduce power to 6 watts at night, when AM radio waves travel farther.

St. Joseph Academy is a four-year co-educational high school located in Hammonton, in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in grades 9–12. The Academy was established for the 2020-21 school year, replacing St. Joseph High School, which had operated since 1942 under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools through December 2025; The school's accreditation status was extended for seven years in Fall 2018. In 2020, the former school permanently closed because of financial problems that were exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic and the request from the Diocese of Camden. As of the 2023–24 school year, the school had an enrollment of 168 students and 17.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.7:1. The school's student body was 74.4% (125) White, 13.1% (22) Hispanic and 12.5% (21) Black.

The William L. Black House is a historic residence located at 458 Bellevue Avenue in the town of Hammonton in Atlantic County, New Jersey. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 26, 1993, for its significance in architecture and commerce.
