Zorinsky Lake Park is a park located at 156th and F streets in West Omaha, Nebraska. Named after Senator Edward Zorinsky of Omaha, the park has a 255-acre (103 ha) lake offering boating and fishing. The park is surrounded by 770 acres (310 ha) of public land, including 190 acres (77 ha) dedicated to wildlife management. The park is home to the Bauermeister prairie, which houses 120 species of plants, birds, and wildlife.

Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital is the Omaha, Nebraska region's first hospital dedicated to the complete care and treatment of orthopaedic patients. The hospital is licensed as an acute care hospital by the State of Nebraska and fully accredited by The Joint Commission. OrthoNebraska's legal name is Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital, LLC. OrthoNebraska has also obtained Disease Specific Care Certification by the Joint Commission for both total hip and total knee replacement—the only hospital in Nebraska to hold this level of certification. The hospital is also certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and is therefore able to provide care for individuals who participate in those government sponsored programs. The hospital has twice been recognized as a top orthopaedic provider by U.S. News & World Report. In 2011, Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital was recognized as the 38th-best hospital in the nation for orthopaedic care, and #1 in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro region.Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital was named one of America's 100 Best for Joint Replacement, and received the Patient Safety Excellence Award and Outstanding Patient Experience Award by Healthgrades, in 2015. The hospital ranked 61st out of 3,575 hospitals in Medicare's Value-Based Purchasing Program.

Oak View Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located at 3002 South 145th Street in West Omaha, Nebraska. There are 104 tenant spots on two floors of this regional mall, which was built in 1991. The mall receives more than 12,000,000 visitors annually, and features a "Kids Coliseum" play area. Oak View is attributed with sparking a development "boom" in its approximate neighborhood, which now includes several major retailers, restaurants, a three national hotel chains. The mall's anchor stores are Dillard's, JCPenney and The Rush Market. There is one vacant anchor that formerly housed a Sears.

Millard North High School is a high school in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Millard Public Schools district. Millard North partially opened in 1978 for 9th and 10th grade students. In 1981, the second phase of the project was completed and the school began to serve students in grades 9-12; at that time, the school's name was changed to Millard North High School. The school completed an expansion in 2007. Millard North underwent a comprehensive renovation which was finished in 2016.

Millard South High School is a fully accredited public high school located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The school was established in 1970 as Millard High School. It is one of four high schools within the Millard Public School District. Millard South is a member of the Nebraska School Activities Association. Athletic teams are known as the Patriots. The school colors are red, white and blue.

The Amazing Pizza Machine is a family entertainment center located in the Millard area of Omaha, Nebraska. According to Play Meter magazine, the Amazing Pizza Machine has an "array of games, rides, and attractions all under one roof are unparalleled in the region." The facility has received several industry awards, including being named a "Top Family Entertainment Center of the World" by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions in 2007. The Amazing Pizza Machine is owned in part by the co-owners of Valentino's Pizza.

Boys Town is a village in Douglas County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 410 at the 2020 census. Boys Town is an enclave and a suburb of Omaha.

Millard is a former town and current neighborhood in southwest Omaha, Nebraska. The original downtown area of Millard (often referred to as 'Old Millard') is near the intersection of Millard Avenue and L Street.

Hindu Temple of Omaha is a Hindu Temple in Omaha and serves the Hindu population of the Omaha Metropolitan Area. Many members of the Hindu Temple of Omaha are in Medical, Engineering and Computer Science fields within the Omaha area. Several members are also students studying at University of Nebraska and Creighton University. 98% of the member population is of Indian descent with the remaining 2% being Nepalese.

First National Business Park is located at 144th & Dodge Streets, just north of Boys Town in West Omaha. CB Richard Ellis regards the park as Omaha's "most prestigious location". It was a significant part of the largest annexation in Omaha's history, which former mayor Hal Daub called for in 1999.Founded in 1997, the 80-acre (32 ha) business park is notable as one of the most desirable locations for business parks in the Midwestern United States. The Park had its last building commitment within a year of its founding. The park includes a 250,000-square-foot (23,000 m2) building finished in 1998, the Empire Fire and Marine Insurance building of 135,000 square feet (12,500 m2), a third building of 70,000-square-foot (6,500 m2) building, and a 65,000-square-foot (6,000 m2) building. Harlan Noddle, a past chairman of the University of Nebraska Foundation and a prominent Omaha businessman, was involved in building the park.It was announced on October 23, 2008 that Yahoo will be coming to the Omaha Metro Area. Yahoo stated that the First National Business Park will be the home to the customer care center that would open the following April.

The Jewish Community Center in Omaha, Nebraska was established in 1926, and moved to its present location at 333 South 132nd Street in 1973. The original JCC was the site of important labor organizing in the city, and has continued to serve as an important center for financial support in Omaha's Jewish community throughout its history. Today the JCC is the site of a Holocaust memorial that is unique in the Midwestern United States. In 2008 teams from the United States Olympic Trials practiced at the JCC before partaking in the official trials in downtown Omaha.
