The Ukrainian History and Education Center, also known as UHEC, is a museum and archives at 135 Davidson Avenue in the Somerset section of Franklin, New Jersey, that focuses on the history of Ukraine and Ukrainian Americans.

St. Andrew Memorial Church (Ukrainian: Церква-пам'ятник святого Андрія Первозванного) is a Ukrainian Orthodox cathedral on Main Street, in South Bound Brook, New Jersey, United States. It is the mother church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA.The church is dedicated as a memorial to the victims of the Stalin-era Great Famine of 1932–33, and to all Ukrainians who died in the quest for liberty and national independence.The idea for a memorial church is credited to Archbishop Mstyslav (Skrypnyk), later Metropolitan, who had lamented in 1942 how many churches and cemeteries, and thus Ukraine's cultural and political leaders, had been destroyed under the Soviets. In 1950, work on his vision began with the acquisition of land in Somerset County. He engaged Ukrainian-Canadian architect George Kodak, who took inspiration from St Andrew's Church, Kiev. Groundbreaking ceremonies took place on July 21, 1955. The cemetery received its first burial in 1964, the Ukrainian sculptor Serhiy Lytvynenko, and the church was dedicated on October 10, 1965. The structure is a notable example of Ukrainian Baroque Cossack architecture. Later contributions to the interior ornamentation include mosaics and icons by Petro Cholodny and woodcarving by Andreas Darahan. It is the focus of the Ukrainian Orthodox Center, whose 100-acre campus includes a cemetery, seminary, library, museum, and other facilities. The church and cemetery are the site of an annual pilgrimage on the Feast of Saint Thomas the Apostle in support and memory of the Ukrainian Orthodox innocent who perished in the Holodomor, the Chernobyl disaster, and in various conflicts.In the 1980s two bronze monuments for the church grounds were completed by the sculptor Peter Kapschutschenko. They depict Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivsky and St. Olga of Kiev

The Staats House, also known as the General Baron von Steuben Headquarters, is a historic building located at 17 Von Steuben Lane in South Bound Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey. Constructed c. 1740, it is now known as the Abraham Staats House after its second owner. In 1779, during the second Middlebrook encampment of the American Revolutionary War, it served as the headquarters for Prussian-American General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 4, 2002, and noted as representing "one of the finest remaining buildings from the second phase of Dutch immigration and settlement in the Raritan Valley".

The St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Theological Seminary (Ukrainian: Софійська українська православна богословська семінарія) located in South Bound Brook, New Jersey, United States was established in 1975 through the foresight of Metropolitan Mstyslav of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA.

South Bound Brook is a borough in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 4,863, an increase of 300 (+6.6%) from the 2010 census count of 4,563, which in turn reflected an increase of 71 (+1.6%) from the 4,492 counted in the 2000 census.What is now South Bound Brook was originally formed as a town within Franklin Township. On March 16, 1869, the name of the community was changed to Bloomington, which lasted until May 29, 1891, when the name reverted to South Bound Brook town. South Bound Brook was incorporated as an independent borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 11, 1907, based on the results of a referendum held on May 1, 1907.

Fieldville is a historical unincorporated community located within Piscataway Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The location is sometimes described as being on River Road south of Bound Brook. The community was named after John Field and his descendants who settled the area.

The South Bound Brook School District is a community public school district that serves public school students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from South Bound Brook, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 425 students and 37.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.5:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "B", the second lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth through twelfth grades, public school students attend Bound Brook High School in Bound Brook as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Bound Brook School District. As of the 2020–21 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 652 students and 48.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.4:1.

Bound Brook is a tributary of the Raritan River in Middlesex County, New Jersey, in the United States.Its name comes from a boundary in an Indian deed. The stream is referred to as Sacunk, a Native American name meaning "slow sluggish stream", on early maps of the area.It rises in Edison (near Interstate 287 and County Route 501) and flows through the Dismal Swamp. It then flows through South Plainfield and the Cedar Brook joins it southwest of Spring Lake. It continues through Piscataway into New Market Pond, through Middlesex where it flows into the Green Brook at the northwest corner of Mountain View Park. It gives its name to the borough of Bound Brook, New Jersey.

Ambrose Brook is a tributary of Green Brook in Middlesex County, New Jersey in the United States.It rises underneath Route 27 in Edison. It then flows into Lake Papaianni. It continues flowing northwest, parallel to County Route 529. After crossing Route 529 and Ethel Road West, it forms a border to some businesses in Piscataway, including William Kenyon and Sons, Inc. Upon flowing into Lake Nelson, the brook takes a more westerly route into Ambrose Doty's Park. Doty's Brook flows into it near Behmer Road in Piscataway. It then flows through undeveloped land as it crosses Interstate 287 near Possumtown Road. It continues flowing west into the pond at Victor Crowell Park in Middlesex The brook then takes a southwest turn and flows into the Green Brook near Lincoln Boulevard in Middlesex just before the Raritan River.

The Battle of Bound Brook (April 13, 1777) was a surprise attack conducted by British and Hessian forces against a Continental Army outpost at Bound Brook, New Jersey during the American Revolutionary War. The British objective of capturing the entire garrison was not met, although prisoners were taken. The U.S. commander, Major General Benjamin Lincoln, left in great haste, abandoning papers and personal effects. Late on the evening of April 12, 1777, four thousand British and Hessian troops under the command of Lieutenant General Charles Cornwallis marched from the British stronghold of New Brunswick. All but one detachment reached positions surrounding the outpost before the battle began near daybreak the next morning. During the battle, most of the 500-man garrison escaped by the unblocked route. U.S. reinforcements arrived in the afternoon, but not before the British plundered the outpost and began the return march to New Brunswick.

The Queen's Bridge is a bridge spanning the Raritan River that connects South Bound Brook and Bound Brook, both of which are in Somerset County, New Jersey. The bridge carries South Main Street across the river.

The Old Stone Arch Bridge is a bridge located in Bound Brook, New Jersey, United States. It is the second-oldest extant bridge in the US, after the Frankford Avenue Bridge (built in 1697) over Pennypack Creek in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Built in 1731, it is the oldest bridge in New Jersey. It spans the Green Brook and connects Bound Brook (Somerset County) with Middlesex Borough (Middlesex County) in northern central New Jersey. The bridge also carried the Great Road Up Raritan, laid out in 1681, which was created by an act of the assembly of the Province of East Jersey. In 1764, the colonial highway, west of what is now Lambertville on the Delaware River and east of Elizabethtown Point on Newark Bay, was christened Old York Road. The highway represented the shortest route between Philadelphia and New York City (reached by ferry). It was built shortly after the King's Highway and called a variety of names, but it was most prominently known as the Upper Road when the Assunpink Trail was widened. The bridge allowed farmers, plantation owners, and all those west and north of the Raritan River a direct route to the colonial ports of New Brunswick and Raritan Landing. Since the early 1870s, the Old Stone Arch Bridge has been buried up to the parapets due to the construction of a railroad embankment.
