Kragerup

Ruds Vedby, in Sorø Municipality, is a small town located on the railway between Tølløse and Høng in West Zealand, eastern Denmark. Ruds Vedby is located 18 km north of Slagelse, 8 km west of Dianalund and 20 km north-west of Sorø. As of 1 January 2024, the population was 1,694.

Brorupgaard is a manor house and estate situated close to Slagelse in Denmark. It was owned by Ludvig Holberg from 1840 until 1754. The current main building was constructed by August Willads Bech in 1856 and the estate has remained in the hands of the Bech family since then.

Store Frederikslund is a manor house and estate located eight kilometres northeast of Slagelse, Slagelse Municipality, Denmark. One of several estates that was established when Antvorskov Cavalry District was sold in public auction. it was established by General Hans Henrik von Eickstedt in 1783 and later owned by the Castenschiold/Grevenkop-Castenschiolds family from 1786 to 1995. The Neoclassical main building from the 1780s was probably designed by Andreas Kirkerup. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Slagelse railway station (Danish: Slagelse Station or Slagelse Banegård) is the main railway station serving the town of Slagelse in southwestern Zealand, Denmark. It is located in the centre of the town, on the northern edge of the historic town centre, and immediately adjacent to the Slagelse bus station. Slagelse station is located on the main line Copenhagen–Fredericia railway from Copenhagen to Funen and Jutland. It is also the southern terminus of the Tølløse branch line from Slagelse to Tølløse on the Northwest Line. The station opened in 1856, and was moved to its current location in 1892. Its second and current station building designed by the architect Niels Peder Christian Holsøe was inaugurated in 1892.The station offers direct InterCity services to Copenhagen, Funen and Jutland, regional rail services to Copenhagen and Odense operated by the national railway company DSB, as well as local train services to Tølløse, operated by the regional railway company Lokaltog.

Slagelse (Danish pronunciation: [ˈslɛːjl̩sə]) is a town on Zealand, Denmark. The town is the seat of Slagelse Municipality, and is the biggest town of the municipality. It is located 15 km east of Korsør, 16 km north-east of Skælskør, 33 km south-east of Kalundborg and 14 km west of Sorø.

Tersløsegaard is a manor house located close to Dianalund, Sorø Municipality some 60 kilometres southwest of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was owned by Ludvig Holberg from 1745 to 1756. He left it to Sorø Academy and it has now been converted into a self-owning foundation and contains a Holberg exhibition. The main building is listed. The main building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on in 1918.

Slagelse Stadium (Danish: Slagelse Stadion; currently known as Harboe Arena Slagelse for sponsorship reasons) is a sports center located in Slagelse, Denmark, which, among other things, is used for athletics and the running of football matches on the associated stadium, including home games for Slagelse B&I. Formerly, its elite project FC Vestsjælland also used the stadium as its home ground. The sports complex was built in 1927 by Slagelse Municipality, among others, as a result of the complete merging of Slagelse Boldklub and Slagelse Idræts-Forening to Slagelse B&I i 1919. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000, of which 3,300 are seating. The stadium record of 10,000 spectators dates back to the early 1970s, when it hosted with a division match in Danish top tier between Slagelse B&I and Holbæk B&I.

Slagelse Municipality is a municipality (Danish: kommune) in Region Zealand on the west coast of the island of Zealand (Danish: Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 571 km². The municipality borders Kalundborg Municipality to the north, Sorø Municipality to the north-east, Næstved Municipality to the south-east and connects to Nyborg Municipality via the Great Belt Bridge. The main city and the site of the municipal council is the city of Slagelse. The mayor has since 2017 been John Dyrby Paulsen, a member of the Social Democratic political party. The municipality include the inhabited islands of Omø, Agersø and Glænø, as well as the uninhabited islands of Sprogø, Østerfed, Stenfed, Ormø, Fuglehøj, Sandholm, Kidholm and Fugleholm. On 1 January 2007 the former Slagelse municipality was, as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), merged with Hashøj, Korsør, and Skælskør municipalities to form an enlarged Slagelse municipality.

Valbygård is a manor house and estate located four kilometres northwest of Slagelse, Denmark. Created by Joachim Castenschiold in 1874 from land that had previously belonged to Antvorskov Abbey, the estate was in 1846 acquired by August Willads Bech and has since then remained in the Bech family. The current, Renaissance Revival style main building was built for August Willads Bech in 1855. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1996. The estate covers 1,100 hectares of land.

Saint Peter's Church (Danish: Sankt Peders Kirke) is a Lutheran church located in the center of Slagelse, Denmark. The congregation was originally part of the Roman Catholic Church, but was converted to Lutheranism during the Reformation. The church was originally built in the 12th century out of stone, but it has since received a variety of brick extensions and renovations. The church's steady expansions reflect the continued growth of the town. In the 14th century, Saint Michael's Church (Danish: Sankt Mikkels Kirke) was built and replaced Saint Peter's Church as the main parish church of Slagelse.Saint Anders of Slagelse was a priest at the church in the late 12th century. After his death in 1205, he was venerated by local practitioners for various miracles he is believed to have performed, despite never being canonized.

Until 1 January 2007 Dianalund Municipality was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in east Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 67 km2, and had a total population of 7,406 (2005). Its last mayor was Per Hovmand, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Dianalund. Dianalund Municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Sorø and Stenlille municipalities to form the new Sorø Municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 317 km² and a total population of 28,336 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").
