Cap. Juan Manuel Boiso Lanza Air Base (Spanish: Base Aérea Cap. Juan Manuel Boiso Lanza) (ICAO: SUBL) is an air base of the Uruguayan Air Force located in the Montevideo Department of Uruguay. Air Brigade III, which includes the Nº7 Squadron (Observation & Liaison) is stationed on the field. The Air Force Command and Staff College (Spanish: la Escuela de Comando y Estado Mayor Aéreo) is also on the base. The air base is considered the birthplace of the Uruguayan Air Force, because the first airplanes such as the T-6 Texan and the Curtiss Falcon were assembled in the base workshops. The first helicopter squadron was also formed at the base before the unit was transferred to Carrasco. The streets bordering the base are Avenue de las Instrucciones, Av. General San Martin, and Av. Pedro de Mendoza. A railway line forms the south border of the base. The air base has a grass runway, but does not currently have a control tower. Air operations are very limited.

Estadio Contador Damiani

Estadio Contador Damiani, formerly Las Acacias, is a football stadium in Montevideo, Uruguay, inaugurated in 1916 and re-built in 1997. It is used mostly for Peñarol's reserves matches. The stadium can hold up to 12,000 people. VIP stands and the entrance were taken in 1930 to the stadium Estadio Pocitos, where the first ever goal in World Cup history was scored by the French forward Lucien Laurent. The structure has since been returned to its original location.

Hipódromo Nacional de Maroñas is a horse racing track located in Ituzaingó neighbourhood, in Montevideo, Uruguay. It has a 2,065 metres main dirt track and a dirt 2,000 metres training track. It has a seating capacity of 2,426 people and can accommodate approximately 5,500 standing. It has a parking with room for approximately 697 cars. The racetrack was closed between 1997 and 2003, when it was re-opened by a private consortium, Maroñas Entertainment. Races take place all-year-round every weekend (mostly Saturdays and Sundays though sometimes only on Sundays) and also every January 6 (Three Kings Day), when its most important race, the Gran Premio José Pedro Ramírez is held. Maroñas has 25 races in the 2018 IFHA Blue Book Part 1, including three Group 1 races (Gran Premio José Pedro Ramírez, Gran Premio Ciudad de Montevideo and Gran Premio Latinoamericano), and four Group 2 races (Gran Premio Comparación, Gran Premio Criterium, Gran Premio Estímulo and Gran Premio General Artigas).
