The Basílica de los Sacramentinos is a church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Santiago de Chile. It administered by the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and its design was inspired by the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur in Paris. The main cupola of the church has a structural height of 69 m (226 ft).

The Faculty of Economy, Government and Communications, Central University of Chile (Spanish: Facultad de Economía, Gobierno y Comunicaciones de la Universidad Central de Chile), also known as the Faculty of Government, is one of the first School of Public Administration career in Santiago taught by a private university. The building is located in the University District of Santiago, near the Parque Almagro metro station and Paseo Bulnes.

Almagro Park is an urban park in the city of Santiago, Chile. The Basílica de los Sacramentinos is situated on the east end of the park, while the Palacio Cousiño is located on its west end. The park marks the north end of the Paseo Bulnes. Parque Almagro metro station is named after the park and the Toesca metro station is located a short walk from the park. The park began to take form in 1982 as part of a project to consolidate the Civic District of Santiago. The park covers 12 ha (30 acres) and is built on land originally reserved for a new national congress building of Chile.

The Basilica of the Heart of Mary is a Catholic Church in the city of Santiago, Chile. Built by the Claretians, it was inaugurated on 7 December 1879, being designated as a basilica in 1929 and as a National Monument of Chile on 14 January 1987.

Teatro Caupolicán (Caupolicán Theatre) is a theatre and music venue located on the San Diego street in Santiago, Chile. It was opened in 1936. The Palacio Cousiño is a palace that was designed and built for Isidora Goyenechea, widow of Luis Cousiño, who in turn was son of Matías Cousiño. It is located at 438 Dieciocho Street in Santiago, Chile.The palace was designed by architect Paul Lathoud, who also designed the building housing the Chilean National Museum of Natural History. The palace was constructed in Second Empire Style and completed in 1878.

Instituto Nacional General José Miguel Carrera, often shortened to Instituto Nacional (National Institute), is a public boys' school in downtown Santiago, Chile which teaches 4.400 students between 7th and 12th grade. 170 teachers are employed.The school was founded on August 10, 1813 by José Miguel Carrera. Its official name is Liceo Ex A-0 - Instituto Nacional General José Miguel Carrera. The Instituto Nacional is one of the few public schools in Chile's largely privatized educational landscape. The school played a role in the long-running student protests for fairer education policies in 2006. When the protests began in 2019 with the increase in metro prices, the students at the Instituto Nacional called for collective fare evasion.

The Bernardo O'Higgins monument is a bronze sculpture on a marble base that represents the moment in which Bernardo O'Higgins crossed over a defeated enemy of the royalist troops with his horse in the Battle of Rancagua in 1814. It is located in the Alameda in front of the Palacio de La Moneda, in the Plaza de la Ciudadanía in the city of Santiago, Chile. Made by the French sculptor Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, it was inaugurated on May 19, 1872. Its pedestal presents four bas-reliefs that represent the life of the hero, two of them made by the Chilean sculptor Nicanor Plaza. It was inaugurated on May 19, 1872.

The Llama de la Libertad or Llama Eterna de la Libertad (lit. "Flame of Liberty" or "Eternal Flame of Liberty") was a ceremonial flame located in Plaza Bulnes in Santiago, Chile. It was lit on September 11, 1975 by Augusto Pinochet to commemorate the 1973 Chilean coup d'etat against the presidency of Salvador Allende. The Llama de la Libertad was part of a larger monument called Altar de la Patria (lit. "Altar of the Motherland") and was a symbol of the military dictatorship that ruled Chile from 1973 to 1990.

St. Ignatius College, Santiago (Spanish: Colegio San Ignacio Alonso Ovalle) is a private Catholic primary and secondary school, located in Santiago, Chile. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1856 and is run by the Jesuit St. Ignatius Foundation as a part of the Ignatian Educational Network of Chile, the Latin American Federation of Jesuit Colleges, and the Latin American Federation of the Society of Jesus (FLACSI). The school is the second oldest private school in Santiago after Padres Franceses de Santiago.

The Casa Central de la Universidad de Chile, also known as Palacio de la Universidad de Chile, is the main building for the Universidad de Chile, and is located at 1058 Alameda Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins, in Santiago, Chile. The building dates from 1872, and currently houses the rectorate, rooms used for ceremonial events and the Andrés Bello Archives, so-named to honor the lawyer who founded the university. It was declared a National Monument of Chile in 1974. The adjacent Universidad de Chile metro station was named after the building.

The iglesia San Ignacio, also known as iglesia del Colegio de San Ignacio, is a Roman Catholic church founded by the Society of Jesus in Santiago, Chile. It is next to the Colegio San Ignacio, and was declared as a National Historic Monument in 2002.
