Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi

The Armenian Pantheon of Tbilisi, also known as Khojivank (Georgian: ხოჯივანქი Khojivank'i; Armenian: Խոջիվանք) or Khojavank (Armenian: Խոջավանք), is an Armenian architectural complex in north-eastern part of Avlabari district of Tbilisi, Georgia. Many notable Armenian writers, artists and public figures are buried there. It formerly consisted of a huge memorial cemetery and the Holy Mother of God Armenian Church (St. Astvatsatsin church). The church and most part of the cemetery was destroyed in 1937, and most of the remaining part of the cemetery was destroyed between 1995 and 2004 during the construction of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi Cathedral (also known as Sameba Cathedral). The tiny part that remains, together with some relocated gravestones, is preserved as the Armenian Pantheon of Tbilisi.

Avlabari (Georgian: ავლაბარი Avlabari, Armenian: Հավլաբար Havlabar) is a neighborhood of Old Tbilisi on the left bank (east side) of the Kura River. The 11th-13th century chronicles mention it as Isani, which is now one of the larger municipal regions of Tbilisi. Nowadays one of the upcoming hip neighborhoods of the city, Avlabari is being extensively gentrified.

The Ceremonial Palace of Georgia (Georgian: სახელმწიფო ცერემონიების სასახლე), formerly known as the Presidential Administration of Georgia (Georgian: საქართველოს პრეზიდენტის ადმინისტრაცია, sakartvelos prezidentis administratsia) or the Avlabari Presidential Residence, is the executive body of administration of President of Georgia. Housed in a refurbished building of the former Imperial gendarmerie, the Presidential administration is located on the left bank of the Kura River, in the Avlabari district of Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Ejmiatsin Church (Armenian: Էջմիածնեցոց Սուրբ Գևորգ եկեղեցի; Georgian: წმინდა ეჯმიაწინის ეკლესია) is an 18th-century Armenian Apostolic church in the Avlabari district of Old Tbilisi, Georgia. The church is adjacent to the Avlabari Square.

Petros Adamian Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theatre (Armenian: Ստեփան Շահումյանի անվան հայկական պետական թատրոն Georgian: პეტროს ადამიანის სახელობის თბილისის სახემწიფო სომხური დრამატული თეატრი) was established in 1858 by the Armenian theater activist Gevorg Chmshkyan. Armenian writer Gabriel Sundukyan was among the supporters of theater.

Saint Karapet Church (Georgian: წმინდა კარაპეტის ეკლესია, Armenian: Սուրբ Կարապետ եկեղեցի; Russian: Церковь св. Карапет) is an Armenian church now functioning as Georgian Orthodox church in Old Tbilisi, Georgia. It is located between the Chugureti and Avlabari districts.

The Church of the Red Gospel (Armenian: Կարմիր Ավետարան եկեղեցի, Karmir Avetaran Yekeghetsi; Armenian: Կարմիր վանք, Karmir Vank ) or Shamkoretsots Sourb Astvatsatsin Church (Armenian: Շամքորեցոց Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցի, meaning Shamkor Inhabitants' Holy Mother of God Church) is a ruined 18th century Armenian church in the Avlabar district of Old Tbilisi, Tbilisi, Georgia. It was built in 1735 or 1775 or 1808, and renovated during the 19th century. According to Armenian sources, on April 13, 1989, the church was "blown up" or "destroyed.". Georgian officials deny that it was blown up, and ascribed its destruction to the intensity of an earthquake that had struck Tbilisi a day before. At 40 meters, it was the tallest Armenian church in Tbilisi. Today it stands in ruins, with its cupola gone.

Chugureti St. Astvatsatsin Church (Armenian: Չուղուրեթի Սբ. Աստվածածին եկեղեցի; Russian: Церковь Чугурети Ст. Богородицы) is an Armenian church in Chugureti district of Old Tbilisi, Georgia.

The Metekhi church of the Nativity of the Mother of God (Georgian: მეტეხის ღვთისმშობლის შობის ტაძარი, romanized: met'ekhis ghvtismshoblis shobis t'adzari), known simply as Metekhi, is a Georgian Orthodox Christian church located on the left bank of the river Kura. It sits on the Metekhi Cliff opposite the old town of Tbilisi, Georgia. Much of the existing structure dates back to the Middle Ages and was built between 1278 and 1289 AD under the reign of King Demetrius II of Georgia, although oral tradition traces Metekhi's origins further to the 5th century.

The Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy, commonly referred to as Tbilisi Medical Academy, is a Georgian private medical university located in Tbilisi. The university was founded in 1992 by Petre Shotadze, in whose honor it was posthumously renamed. The University offers 6 year educational program in Medicine.

Metekhi (Metechi; Georgian: მეტეხი) is a historic neighborhood of Tbilisi, Georgia, located (42.92N 44.34E) on the elevated cliff that overlooks the Mtkvari river. The neighborhood is home to the eponymous Metekhi Church of Assumption.

The Bridge of Peace (Georgian: მშვიდობის ხიდი, mshvidobis khidi) is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction illuminated with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River, linking the Rike Park with Old town in central Tbilisi. Since its opening in 2010 the structure has become an important pedestrian crossing in the city, as well as a significant tourist attraction and one of the most well-recognized landmarks of the capital.
