Holbæk Ladegård

Holbæk municipality is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in northwestern Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Orø, and covers an area of 583 km², and has a total population of 73,440 (2023). Its mayor is Christina Krzyrosiak Hansen, a member of the Social Democrats and the youngest mayor ever in Denmark. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Holbæk. On 1 January 2007 Holbæk municipality was, as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), merged with existing Jernløse, Svinninge, Tornved, and Tølløse municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality.

Holbæk railway station (Danish: Holbæk Station or Holbæk Banegård) is the main railway station serving the town of Holbæk in northwestern Zealand, Denmark.Holbæk station is located on the main line Northwest Line from Roskilde to Kalundborg and is the southern terminus of the Odsherredsbanen branch line from Holbæk to Nykøbing Sjælland. The station opened in 1874, and its second and current station building designed by the architect Ole Ejnar Bonding was inaugurated in 1972. It offers direct regional rail services to Copenhagen, Roskilde and Kalundborg operated by the national railway company DSB, as well as local train services to Nykøbing Sjælland, operated by the regional railway company Lokaltog.

Holbæk Stadium (Danish: Holbæk Stadion) is a multi-use stadium in Holbæk, Denmark. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Holbæk B&I and Nordvest FC. The stadium holds 10,500 people.

Holbæk (Danish pronunciation: [ˈhʌlˀpek]) is a town in Denmark and the seat of Holbæk municipality with a population of 29,960 (1 January 2023). It is located in the northwestern part of Region Sjælland, Denmark. Holbæk is located on Zealand, on the banks of Holbæk Fjord, an inlet of the larger Isefjord. Holbæk is a commercial and industrial center for the surrounding area. By rail, Holbæk is served by Danske Statsbaner's line from Roskilde to Kalundborg, which runs through the city. Vestsjællands Lokalbaner connects Holbæk by rail to Nykøbing Sjælland. The city is a major hub for the Movia bus routes. Holbæk has an active commercial seaport that serves as the harbor for the ferry to Orø (island). Near the harbor there is a substantial marina.

Holbæk Barracks (Danish: Holbæk Kaserne) is a former military facility from 1913 located in Holbæk, Denmark. The buildings have now been converted into housing, offices and facilities for local associations. Two buildings, Ridehuset (The Equestrian House) and Eksercerhuset (The Drill House), were listed in 2004.

Hærbygaard is a manor house and estate located on Tuse Næs, Holbæk Municipality, some 80 kilometres west of Copenhagen, Denmark. The current main building was constructed for Melchior Grevenkop-Castenskiold in 1861-62 and later expanded with a new north wing by Gotfred Tvede in 1900-1901.

Tuse is a village in Denmark, located about 5 km (3.1 mi) west of Holbæk. It has a population of 1,322 (1 January 2023). Tuse is located in Holbæk Municipality and therefore is part of the Zealand Region. The town has a relatively large local historical significance, as it controlled trade between Holbæk Fjord and the area further up from the stream of Tuse Å in ancient times. The town has thus given its name to the late Tuse Herred and Tuse Næs.

Until 1 January 2007 Jernløse municipality was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in northeastern West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 103 km², and had a population of 5,943 (2005). Its last mayor was Annica Granstrøm representing Venstre, Denmark's Liberal Party. The site of the municipal council was the town of Nørre Jernløse. Regstrup is the biggest town in the municipal. Jernløse municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Holbæk, Svinninge, Tornved, and Tølløse municipalities to form a new Holbæk municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 583 km² and a total population of 66,611 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Sjælland ("Region Zealand").

Egholm is a manor house and estate situated on the Hornsherred Peninsula, between Kirke Hyllinge and Skibby, in Lejre Municipality, some 60 km west of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Neoclassical main building from 1824, a gatehouse from 1870, a barn from 1880, a stable from circa 1890 and a former horse mill were listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1998. Another building is now operated as an arms museum under the name Egholm Museum. The estate covers 770 hectares of land.

Nørre Jernløse Windmill (Danish: Nørre Jernløse Mølle) is a smock mill in the village of Nørre Jernløse, Holbæk Municipality, some 50 km west of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was originally built on Copenhagen's North Rampart in 1853 but some 30 years later moved to its current location. It remained in use until 1953 and was restored to working condition in 1979–82. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1983 and has since 1993 been operated as a working museum by a local mill guild.

Hagestedgaard is a manor house and estate located at the village of Hagested, near Holbæk, Holbæk Municipality, some 60 kilometres west of Copenhagen, Denmark. The estate traces its history back to the 13th century but the current asymmetrical complex of single-storey, white-washed buildings surrounding a central courtyard was constructed for Hans Didrik Brinck-Seidelin in 1747 with the exception of the remains of a tower built by Johan Friis in 1555. The estate has been owned by members of the Castenskiold family since 1769.
