Kingsborough Early College Secondary School (KECSS), or IS 468 is a Middle School/High School located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, New York. KECSS is housed in the Lafayette Educational Complex/Campus (Lafayette High School (New York City)) building. Students also take college courses at Kingsborough Community College located in the Manhattan Beach section of Brooklyn, New York. KECSS offers each child the opportunity to better themselves with strong character building programs. Upon completion of the eighth grade level, students participate in college level courses in addition to the high school curriculum. Upon completion of all courses with a passing grade each student will have earned 60 college credits (the equivalent of an associate degree).

Lafayette High School was a large secondary school located in the Bath Beach section of Brooklyn, New York City, New York. It closed in 2010.

L&B Spumoni Gardens is a pizzeria-restaurant in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. Originally conceived as an ice and spumoni stand prior to World War II, it grew during the mid-1950s into a full-scale pizzeria that's known today primarily for its Sicilian pizza and ices. The restaurant has been featured on the show Man v. Food. NY Eater critic Robert Sietsema considers L&B Spumoni Gardens a must-try Italian American restaurant in Brooklyn. They were featured on Andrew Zimmern’s show The Zimmern List.

Bensonhurst Maternity Hospital was built in the mid 1920s "across Bay Parkway from JCH" (Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst). It had its share of families with fathers who "paced ... and nervously smoked one cigarette after another" and families with sad news.As of 2016, the building houses a Jewish School.

Yeshiva Ohel Moshe is a Bensonhurst-based, Modern Orthodox co-ed day school that was opened in 1927 or 1928, a time when most Brooklyn-based Jewish education was via Talmud Torah.It expanded under the leadership of the late Rabbi Eliyahu Machlis, who led Ohel Moshe, both the school and the synagogue housed in the same building, for "almost 40 years."

The Edith and Carl Marks Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst (known as the JCH, sometimes called "the J") was incorporated in 1927 and has helped over one million Jews in the Bensonhurst section of New York City's borough of Brooklyn. It initially served as a community center for Eastern European Jewish immigrants and their children. As the complexion of the Jewish community in Bensonhurst changed, its community center changed in accord. During the 1940s and 1950s, a large influx of Syrian Jews immigrated to the area. It was during this period that Sandy Koufax, the son of Jewish immigrants, played on the basketball courts of the JCH. In the 1980s, a third wave of immigrants, this time from the former Soviet Union, once again shifted the focus of the community center.

Brooklyn School of Inquiry (PS/IS 686), often referred to as BSI, is a progressive, constructivist New York City public school, located at 50 Avenue P in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn. It grew by one grade annually until 2016, when it reached capacity as an elementary/middle school serving students from kindergarten through grade eight. BSI is the only citywide Gifted and Talented (G&T) program in Brooklyn and one of five in all of New York City. G&T programs are provided for students identified as gifted and talented by assessments that are administered by the New York City Department of Education(DOE). For the program, students are selected solely based on test scores. To be eligible for placement to Citywide G&T programs, students have to score at or above the 97th percentile on the assessments administered.The school hired a new principal, Eric Havlik, in the fall of 2017. Mr. Havlik had previously been assistant principal at P.S. 154 in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. The school's initial principal was Donna Taylor, a graduate of Hunter College. She had previously been a Vice President of Marketing Operations at the Book of the Month Club for over ten years. After leaving the publishing field, she worked for approximately six years as a NYC Public School teacher before attending the NYC Leadership Academy. On June 19, 2017, Donna Taylor announced that she was stepping down from her position as principal of BSI.

The Bay 50th Street station is a local station on the BMT West End Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Bay 50th Street and Stillwell Avenue in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is served by the D train at all times. It is in front of the campus of John Dewey High School and has been adopted by its students as part of the New York City Transit Authority's Adopt-a-Station Program.

Beth Hatalmud Rabbinical College, or in short known as Bais Hatalmud, is a small and selective Rabbinical college located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, New York.
