Belgradkapı is a quarter in Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul, Turkey. Name of the neighborhood means Belgrade Gate in Turkish, and was named so after the Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent conquered Belgrade in 1521, modern capital of Serbia, and resettled its population to several locations in Istanbul, including the present Belgradkapı area.

The Balıklı Greek Hospital (Greek: Ελληνικό Νοσοκομείο του Βαλουκλή, Turkish: Balıklı Rum Hastanesi) is a health care institution at Balıklı neighborhood of Yedikule quarter in Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul, which was established in the 18th century and continues its service run by the Greek community of Turkey.

Pege was a town of ancient Thrace, inhabited during Byzantine times.Its site is located near Balıklı in European Turkey.

Yedikule Gasworks (Turkish: Yedikule Gazhanesi) was a gasworks to produce coal gas in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in 1880 and functioned ıntil 1993.

Kazlıçeşme railway station (Turkish: Kazlıçeşme istasyonu) is a railway station in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul and the current terminus of the trans-Bosporus Marmaray commuter rail line. Located just outside of the city's historic walled center, Kazlıçeşme station sits between 10. Yıl Avenue and Zakirbaşı Street. The station is 8.6 km (5.3 mi) west of Sirkeci station.

Yedikule (English: Seven Towers) is a neighborhood of Fatih, Istanbul in Turkey. It is named after the seven-towered Yedikule Fortress, which surrounds the neighborhood. Urbanized in the 16th century, the neighborhood became a hub for industrial and agricultural activities. Yedikule has a local football team Yedikule GSK that played in the TFF Second League for a season.Marmaray passes through the neighbourhood, however Yedikule railway station is closed and the trains do not serve to the neighbourhood.

Yedikule Fortress (Turkish: Yedikule Hisarı or Yedikule Zindanları; meaning "Fortress of the Seven Towers", or "Dungeons of the Seven Towers", respectively) is a fortified historic structure located in the Yedikule neighbourhood of Fatih, in Istanbul, Turkey. Built in 1458 on the commission of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II, the seven-tower complex was created by adding three new towers and fully enclosing a section of the ancient Walls of Constantinople, including the two twin towers that originally constituted the triumphal Golden Gate (Turkish: Altınkapı) built by Roman Emperors Theodosius I and Theodosius II. The fortress came to be known as the home of a formidable royal dungeon that housed notable figures throughout its history, and the associated intrigue captured the public's imagination over the centuries in various legends, stories, and the arts.

The Yedikule Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital (Turkish: Yedikule Surp Pırgiç Ermeni Hastanesi) is a hospital in the Yedikule quarter of Fatih district of Istanbul which was established and continues to be managed by Turkish Armenians.

Silivrikapi Ice Skating Hall, full name Silivrikapi Skating Hall and Recreation Center, shortly Silivrikapı Ice Rink, (Turkish: Silivrikapı Buz Pateni Salonu), is an indoor ice skating and ice hockey arena located at Silivrikapı neighborhood of Fatih district in Istanbul, Turkey. It was opened in September 2009.The arena consists of an Olympic-size rink of 1,740 m2 (18,700 sq ft) with a seating capacity of 900 people, and another one of 600 m2 (6,500 sq ft) for 200 spectators used as training rink.Covering an area of 8,950 m2 (96,300 sq ft), the construction of the complex cost ₺ 30 million (approx. US$20 million).

Yedikule station is an indefinitely closed railway station on the Istanbul suburban. It is located in the Yedikule neighborhood in southwest Fatih. The Yedikule Electric Train Depot is located right next to the station but was closed down in the early 2000s. The station had one track servicing an island platform (eastbound track) during the construction of the Marmaray tunnels, the westbound track being temporarily removed. Yedikule was served by the İstanbul-Halkalı Line, which was abandoned with the opening of Marmaray. The station is 7.46 km (4.64 mi) away from Sirkeci Terminal.

Zeytinburnu Stadı (English: Zeytinburnu Stadium) is a football stadium, home ground of the Turkish Regional Amateur League team Zeytinburnuspor since 1984, located in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. The stadium is an all-seater stadium and holds a total capacity of 16,000 people and is uncovered.The stadium briefly housed the Turkish Third League team İstanbulspor A.Ş. in 2004.The stadium is occasionally in use for public holiday ceremonies.

The Imperial Library of Constantinople, in the capital city of the Byzantine Empire, was the last of the great libraries of the ancient world. Long after the destruction of the Great Library of Alexandria and the other ancient libraries, it preserved the knowledge of the ancient Greeks and Romans for almost 1,000 years. A series of unintentional fires over the years and wartime damage, including the raids of the Fourth Crusade in 1204, impacted the building itself and its contents. While there were many reports of texts surviving into the Ottoman era, no substantive portion of the library has ever been recovered. The library was founded by Constantius II (reigned 337–361 AD), who established a scriptorium so that the surviving works of Greek literature could be copied for preservation. The Emperor Valens in 372 employed four Greek and three Latin calligraphers. The majority of Greek classics known today are known through Byzantine copies originating from the Imperial Library of Constantinople.
