The Augusta Deglava bridge or the Deglava bridge is a traffic overpass in Riga over the railway lines Zemitani—Šķirotava and Rīga—Lugaži connecting Riga with Purvciem. The bridge is part of Augusta Deglava Street.

Daugava National Stadium (Latvian: Daugavas stadions) is a multifunctional stadium in Riga, Latvia, which was first opened in 1927. It holds football and athletics competitions. Since 1992 the Daugava Stadium has been designated as a sports facility of national importance. It is now owned by the Government of Latvia.

Vagonu Parks Station is a railway station in Riga Municipality on the Riga-Aizkraukle regional line, and the Riga–Daugavpils Railway Line.

ISMA University of Applied Sciences (ISMA) (Latvian: Informācijas sistēmu menedžmenta augstskola; Russian: Высшая школа менеджмента и информационных систем) the holding, which provides education starting with pre-school preparation in ISMA Secondary school “Premjers” to doctoral studies at the University. The central office of ISMA is located in EU, Latvia, Riga. ISMA has two official branches in Daugavpils, Latvia and in Fergana, Uzbekistan – international branch. ISMA also has representative centers all over the world: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan.

Grīziņkalns is a neighbourhood in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral, Daugava Stadium and the Staburadze confectionery factory (a part of Orkla Latvia) are located in the area, and it is dominated by late 19th to early 20th century working class houses. Latvian writer Jānis Grīziņš described the working-class area of Grīziņkalns in his 1928 adventure story Vārnu ielas republika ('Vārnu Street Republic' or 'Crow Street Republic'), which then was used as the premise of the 1970 Soviet Latvian film of the same name (Vārnu ielas republika). Grīziņkalns name comes from the wealthy merchant Griesen who bought a manor here in 1794. However, until the second half of the 19th century it was a quiet and secluded place dominated by sandy dunes and meadows. In the second half of the 19th century several big factories were opened along the newly built Pērnavas street, as a result many houses for workers were also built nearby. Since then this area became known as Griesenberg (Grīziņkalns in latvian). The highest spot in the neighbourhood is Grīziņkalns mound, a 24 meter high sand dune. Since 1903 there is public park in the neighbourhood. For many years the neighbourhood was dominated by working class residents. They were very active during the Revolution of 1905 because many of its local leaders lived or worked in Grīziņkalns. Grīziņkalns park was later renamed Park of 1905, there is also monument dedicated to revolution in the park.

Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TTI) (Latvian: Transporta un Sakaru Institūts, TSI) (Russian: Институт Транспорта и Связи, ИТС) (previously known as RCAII and Riga Aviation University) is the largest university-type accredited non-state technical higher educational and scientific establishment in Riga, the capital of Latvia. It was established in 1999, although it also incorporates the core of a technical and aviation school which dates back to 1919. Main directions of academic activities include electronics and telecommunications, information technology and computer science, economics, management and business administration, transport and logistics.

The Riga Civil Aviation Engineers Institute (RCAEI) (Latvian: Rīgas Civilās Aviācijas Inženieru Institūts (RCAII), Russian: Рижский институт инженеров гражданской авиации (РКИИГА until 1991), Рижский авиационный университет (РАУ until 1999)) was an engineering university in the USSR and Latvia. It was founded in 1919 and closed in 1999. Thousands of students graduated from the institute from over 93 countries. The institute had several different names during its history as well as moving from Kiev to Moscow to Petrograd to Riga. Riga Aviation University closed in 1999, with its programmes moved to Riga Technical University.

Dārzciems (literal Latvian - 'garden village') is a neighborhood of Riga located in the Latgale Suburb in the southeastern part of the right bank of the Daugava river. With a population of about 21,000 inhabitants in 2010, Dārzciems's territory covers 4.577 km2 (1.767 sq mi) and is one of the most arid parts of Riga. The western part of Dārzciems mainly consists of one-or two-story private buildings, while the northwestern part is dominated by multi-storied housing blocks. The territory of neighborhood was added to Riga in 1924 with plans to develop it as a 'garden city' with small private houses and gardens around them. During the 1970s, some of the old private houses were demolished and several 3- to 9-storey apartment blocks were built for the needs of Soviet Army officers. Later, several big industrial enterprises built apartments for their workers there (e.g. the Aldaris brewery). During the Soviet era Dārzciems was the location of the well-known Lubāna department store, which in 2004 was renovated into a Rimi supermarket.

The Baltic International Academy (Latvian: Baltijas Starptautiskā akadēmija, Russian: Балтийская международная академия) is the largest degree-awarding tertiary educational institution in Latvia teaching primarily in the Russian language and the largest non-government higher education establishment in the Baltic countries. It was established in 1992 as the Baltic Russian Institute (Latvian: Baltijas Krievu institūts, Russian: Балтийский русский институт). It adopted its current name in 2006. The academy has its main campus in Riga and has locations in Daugavpils, Liepāja, Rēzekne, Jēkabpils, Ventspils, Smiltene and Jelgava. It has 4,500 students, including 450 foreign students from 15 countries.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Latvian: Svētā Pāvila Evaņģēliski luteriskā baznīca) is a Lutheran church in Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is a parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia. The church is situated at the address 1 Augusta Deglava Street.
