Grigol Robakidze University (Georgian: გრიგოლ რობაქიძის სახელობის უნივერსიტეტი [grigol robakidzis saxelobis universiteti]) is established in 1992 in Tbilisi, Georgia. It specialises in medicine and dentistry, but also has courses in the social sciences, English and German.The university was renamed in honor of the Georgian poet and thinker, Grigol Robakidze.

It is located in Davit Aghmashenebeli Alley #240. It was established in 1929, and is officially recognized by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. It is a small university with an enrollment range of only 4,000 to 4,999 students.AUG offers courses and programs that lead to bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctorate degrees in several areas of study. The H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations, with an admission rate of 50–60%, making it an averagely selective institution.

Free University (Georgian: თავისუფალი უნივერსიტეტი) is a private research university in Tbilisi, Georgia, founded by Kakha Bendukidze, Georgian statesman, businessman and philanthropist often regarded as the Man Who Remade Georgia. Founded in 2007, the university has grown to comprise seven undergraduate and graduate schools, among which are, the university's oldest, School of International Relations, School of Business, Architecture, Governance and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Law, and School of Visual Arts and Design. The main goal of Kakha Bendukidze, FreeUni's founder, was to provide opportunities for a quality education to every motivated person in Georgia, regardless of his or her financial conditions. Benudkidze believed that clarity of purpose and the future were essential to any human endeavour.The Free University is organized into 7 constituent schools: the university's oldest, International Relations (Institute of Asia and Africa), School of Business, Law, Physics, Computer Sciences and Math, Visual Arts and Design, Governance and Social Sciences. While the Free University is governed by a combination of its Board of Overseers and the Knowledge Foundation, each school's faculty oversees its curriculum and degree programs. In addition to a central campus shared with Agricultural University of Georgia in downtown Tbilisi, the University owns facilities all around Georgia, including Anaseuli Education Center. The current Rector of The Free University is Vakhtang Lezhava. There are 56 full-time and 84 part-time lecturers. 44 hold PhDs; 25 are PhD students. The programs are run on a daily basis by deans and academic coordinators.

QSI International School of Tbilisi (QSIT) is a nonprofit English-language International school in Tbilisi, Georgia. It was established in 1995. Its curriculum is similar to that of U.S. Schools. Students range from Pre-K (age 2) to Grade 12 (age 18). The current enrollment is about 250 students from 35 different countries. QSIT is part of QSI and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The accreditation was renewed in 2015.

Olimpi Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Tbilisi. The stadium is able to hold 3,000 people.

Avchala (Georgian: ავჭალა) is a northern suburb of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, part of the city's Gldani District. It had formerly been a village with a long history behind until being incorporated within Tbilisi's boundaries in 1962. Avchala lies on the left bank of the Mtkvari, at 440 m above sea level.

The Guramishvili (Georgian: გურამიშვილი) is a station on the Akhmeteli–Varketili Line of the Tbilisi Metro. It opened on 16 November 1985. The station was originally called TEMKA (Georgian: თემქა (თბილისის ელმავალმშენებელი ქარხანა)), an abbreviation for the Tbilisi Electric Locomotive Plant. In 1992 it was renamed after the 18th-century Georgian poet Davit Guramishvili.
