Albufeira-Ferreiras railway station

Ferreiras is a civil parish in the southern Portuguese municipality of Albufeira. The population in 2011 was 6,406 in an area of 20.13 km².

Albufeira Bullring (Portuguese: Praça de Toiros de Albufeira) is a bullring (Portuguese: Praça de Touros) in Albufeira, Portugal. Bullfighting, horse shows, and concerts were held in the arena until 2019. In 2021 it was sold with plans to no longer hold bullfights but to renovate the structure. This was following a failed attempt by the PAN group in 2020 to purchase the arena.

Albufeira e Olhos de Água is a freguesia ("civil parish") in Albufeira Municipality, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Albufeira and Olhos de Água. The population in 2011 was 26,742, in an area of 41.18 km².

Albufeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [alβuˈfɐjɾɐ] ) is a city and municipality of Faro District in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. The population in 2021 was 44,158, in an area of 140.66 square kilometres (54.31 square miles). The city proper had a population of 28,645 in 2021. It is 250 kilometres (160 mi) from Lisbon, close to Paderne Castle. Lagoa is 30 kilometres (19 mi) to the west, and Faro 45 kilometres (28 mi) to the southeast. A tourist destination due to its coastal conditions, Albufeira's population expands to around 300,000 in the summer and at Christmas and New Year owing to the number of hotels that includes marina facilities, golf courses, restaurants and bars.

The Castle of Paderne (Portuguese: Castelo de Paderne) is an ancient fortification located in the civil parish of Paderne, municipality of Albufeira, in the Portuguese Algarve. It was constructed in the later 12th century by Berbers, in an area around 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) inland. The edifice is located just 8.2 kilometres (5.1 mi) from the resort town of Albufeira, along a bend in the Quarteira River. It is believed to be one of the original castles that occupy the shield of the Portuguese national flag.

Tunes is a railway station on the Algarve Line, which serves Tunes, in the Silves municipality, Portugal. It opened on the 1st of July 1889, and is the junction of the Algarve and Southern lines.

Praia do Inatel is a Blue flag beach located in the resort town of Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal. The beach lies to the east of Albufeira old town in the district of Bairro dos Pescadores (Neighborhood of the Fisherman), and is dominated by the Albufeira Inatel Hotel which sit to the rear of the beach and from which the beach takes its name.

Praia Santa Eulália is a beach within the Municipality of Albufeira, in the Algarve, Portugal. The beach is 2.7 miles (4.3 km) east of the town of Albufeira and is 20.5 miles (33.0 km) west of the regions capital of Faro. In 2012 Praia Santa Eulália has been designated a blue Flag beach.

Praia da Oura is a blue flag beach within the Municipality of Albufeira, in the Algarve, Portugal. The beach is in the eastern district of Albufeira in the neighbourhood called Areias de São João (Saint John's Sands). Its flanked by Praia dos Aveiros to the west and Praia de Santa Eulália to the eastern side. The beach is approximately 900 metres (3,000 ft) in length and is 450 metres (1,480 ft) wide at low tide.

Praia dos Alemães (English: Germans' Beach) is a blue flag beach located west of Albufeira old town and is flanked either side by Praia dos Aveiros to the west and to the east by Praia do Inatel.
