Dromore Viaduct

Dromore railway station was on the Banbridge, Lisburn and Belfast Junction Railway which ran from Knockmore Junction to Banbridge in Northern Ireland.

Dromore Central Primary School (colloquially referred to as "the Central") is a primary school located in Dromore, County Down, Northern Ireland. The original school building was built in 1938 and has approximately 600 pupils aged from 4–11 years in 29 classes. The schools aims "to promote the all-round development of every pupil". It is within the Southern Education and Library Board area. The school is situated on the main Dromore to Banbridge road, only 300 yards from the Market Square. Since 2001, the compulsory school uniform has consisted of a green pullover, a red polo-shirt and grey trousers, this replaced a brown-yellow uniform which had been worn since the 1970s.

Dromore Cathedral, formally The Cathedral Church of Christ the Redeemer, Dromore, is one of two cathedral churches (the other is Down Cathedral) in the Diocese of Down and Dromore of the Church of Ireland (Anglican / Episcopal). It is situated in the small town of Dromore, County Down, Northern Ireland, in the ecclesiastical province of Armagh. The cathedral is an active parish church with a wide demographic of about 600 families, but also serves an important role in Diocesan life. The pattern of worship reflects a wide range of tastes. The cathedral seeks to serve the community of Dromore by bringing Christ's compassion, love and hope of salvation to people of all ages. The mission is to grow God's Kingdom by being a centre of worship, healing and outreach to everyone in their community. There is evidence of worship on the site since 510 AD, when St Colman of Dromore established a church on the banks of the River Lagan. The church was rebuilt numerous times in the 16th and 17th centuries and was made a cathedral by letters patent in 1609, before being destroyed by rebel insurgents in 1641. The present building was originally constructed in 1661 by Jeremy Taylor, Bishop of Down and Connor and has been expanded several times to its present size - the most recent section being added in 1899. The organ was installed by Conacher and Co. of Huddersfield in 1871 and rebuilt by Trevor Crowe of Donadea, County Kildare in 2008/9.

Dromore Town Hall is a municipal structure in the Market Square, Dromore, County Down, Northern Ireland. The structure, which is now used as a public library, is a Grade B1 listed building.

Dromore (from Irish: Droim Mór, meaning 'large ridge') is a small market town and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies within the local government district of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon. It is 19 miles (31 km) southwest of Belfast, on the A1 Belfast–Dublin road. The 2011 Census recorded a population of 6,003.The town's centre is Market Square, which has a rare set of stocks. It is in the old linen manufacturing district. Dromore has the remains of a castle and earthworks, although these have modern buildings surrounding them, a large motte and bailey or encampment (known locally as "the Mound"), and an earlier earthwork known as the Priest's Mount on the Maypole Hill.

The Break of Dromore took place on 14 March 1689 near Dromore, County Down in the early stages of the Williamite War in Ireland. It featured Catholic Jacobite troops under Richard Hamilton and Protestant Williamite militia led by Hugh Montgomery and Arthur Rawdon. The Protestant forces were taken by surprise and there was little fighting, reflected in the term "Break", a Scottish word for rout. Victory secured Eastern Ulster for the Jacobites but they failed to fully exploit their success.

The A1 is a major route in Northern Ireland. It runs from Belfast via Lisburn and Banbridge to the border with the Republic of Ireland south of Newry, from where the road continues to Dublin, becoming the N1 road and M1 motorway. Between Sprucefield and Carrickcarnan the road forms part of the European route E01.

Ashfield Halt railway station served Ashfield in County Down, Northern Ireland. Sited 2 miles south of Dromore the station was served by the line from Lisburn to Banbridge.

Iveagh ( EYE-vay) was a constituency of the Parliament of Northern Ireland.

Kilwarlin Moravian Church was founded in 1755 by the evangelist John Cennick following a Moravian mission in Ireland that began in Dublin in 1746. Kilwarlin is a small village near Hillsborough in County Down.

Lurganville (historically Lurganavill or Lurganaveel, from Irish: Lorgain a' Mhíl, meaning 'long ridge of the hare') is a small village and townland in County Down, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 102 people. It is situated in the Lisburn City Council area. Locally significant buildings include St Colman's Church, which is a listed building, and the Parochial House. Historically the village has been referred to locally as Kilwarlin after the parish in which it lies. Road signs identifying the village as Lurganville, in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area, have been erected recently (2019) on the approach roads to it.
