The Seacow Head Light is a lighthouse on the south-central coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada, west of Central Bedeque. It was built in 1864. The lighthouse was relocated in 1979 to avoid erosion. The lighthouse appeared in several episodes of the television series Road to Avonlea and was home to one of the series' main characters, Gus Pike.The name "Seacow Head" was given in reference to the walrus, formerly abundant in nearby waters, and is not connected with Steller's Sea Cow or other Sirenia.

The Lady Slipper Drive is a former scenic drive located in Prince County, Prince Edward Island, beginning and ending at Summerside. The Lady Slipper Drive comprised numerous routes along coastal sections of Prince County and measured approximately 300 km in length. It was replaced in 2005 by the North Cape Coastal Drive. Deriving its name from the Lady's Slipper orchid, the provincial floral emblem which grows in shaded forests, the signs marking the Lady Slipper Drive depicted a red orchid within a red frame on a square white background. The Lady Slipper Drive was developed as a tourism marketing project during the 1970s in conjunction with the Blue Heron Drive in Queens County and the Kings Byway in Kings County.

Chelton Beach Provincial Park is a provincial park in Prince Edward Island, Canada.Located on the once farm of Louis Pearson of the aforementioned province, Chelton Beach is the chief tourism center of the community of Chelton. The surrounding area is heavily populated with cottages of which most, if not all, are for seasonal use only. It is located approximately 15 minutes by car from the Confederation Bridge though quite far from any other metropolitan center. Despite this the beach is relatively well used, filling beyond its official boundaries on most warm days. As is usual in the region of the Seven Mile Bay, the region to which Chelton belongs, at low tide the beach's surface area increases notably due to the great amount of sand bars. The park itself is composed of two buildings, a shower/restroom facility and a canteen where fast-foods can be purchased. Until the early 2000s there was a large wooden jungle gym, a merry-go-round, a swing set, a see-saw, and a large slide, all dating from, at least, the 1970s. These structures were gradually torn down after being deemed unsafe by the province. The swing set and slide were replaced shortly after their predecessors's demolition.

Consolidated Credit Union Place (formerly known as the Summerside Wellness Centre) is a multi purpose facility that opened in two stages in April 2006 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It contains an aquatics centre, meeting and convention rooms, a fitness centre, two NHL size ice surface arenas, bowling lanes and an indoor walking track. The swimming portion (Phase 1) consists of a 25 metre competition pool, pleasure pool, a water slide, a water mushroom, a hot tub, steam room, and sauna. There is also a conference centre over 4,000 square feet (370 m2) in size, and Iron Haven Gym, with two squash courts and weight lifting equipment. The second portion (Phase 2), the Arenas, were designed to replace Cahill Stadium and Steele Arena. Beginning in the fall of 2011, the venue was home to the Summerside Storm of the National Basketball League of Canada until the team relocated to the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown.

Three Oaks Senior High School (often abbreviated as TOSH) is a Canadian secondary school located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island for students from the eastern part of Prince County, including the City of Summerside. The school is administratively part of the Public Schools Branch. Its official colours are Green and Gold and the mascot is an Axeman. The sports teams from TOSH are called the Three Oaks Axemen.

Linkletter Provincial Park is a provincial park in Prince Edward Island, Canada located at Bedeque Bay a short distance west of Linkletter, Prince Edward Island and Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The park has 51 camp sites for reservation from early June to September. Some camp sites are situated along the shore and a small beach is located at the park. The park is named for nearby Linkletter, Prince Edward Island, which was named for settler George Linkletter.

Linkletter is a rural municipality in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is located in Prince County. The community is named after settler George Linkletter, who arrived from Greenwich, Connecticut in 1783 after receiving a royal land grant. His son George Linkletter II would have his estate as the namesake of the community of Summerside. When George Linkletter settled on Prince Edward Island, he and his family also began Linkletter farms which still operates as a potato farm today. Although George Linkletter began the farm in 1783 after settling, it was not till the 1940s before they specialized in potato farming.
