Glasnevin Cemetery (Irish: Reilig Ghlas Naíon) is a large cemetery in Glasnevin, Dublin, Ireland which opened in 1832. It holds the graves and memorials of several notable figures, and has a museum.

Captain Oscar Aloysius Patrick Heron (17 September 1896 – 5 August 1933) was an Irish World War I flying ace of the British Royal Air Force, credited with thirteen confirmed aerial victories. He later served in the Irish Air Corps, until killed in a flying accident.

Tolka Rovers F.C. are an amateur Irish football club based in Glasnevin, Dublin. They play in the Leinster Senior League. They play at Frank Cooke Park and wear red shirts with white sleeves. The club's junior teams play at Johnstown Park.

Shandon is a small collection of roads on Dublin's Northside within the district of Phibsboro. It consists of three terraces of Edwardian (Victorian style) houses along the banks of the Royal Canal, built around 1926.The area was expanded in 1952 by the addition of a terrace of concrete houses, Shandon Gardens, and more recently Shandon Crescent and Shandon Green.The area is home to Shandon Pitch and Putt Club, an 18-hole course affiliated to the Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland.

Glasnevin (Irish: Glas Naíon, meaning 'stream of the infants', also known as Glas Naedhe, meaning "stream of O'Naeidhe" after a local stream and an ancient chieftain) is a neighbourhood of Dublin, Ireland, situated on the River Tolka. While primarily residential, Glasnevin is also home to the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin Cemetery, the National Meteorological Office, and a range of other state bodies, and Dublin City University has its main campus and other facilities in and near the area. Glasnevin is also a civil parish in the ancient barony of Coolock.

Glasnevin railway station was a Great Southern and Western Railway (GS&WR) station serving Glasnevin in Dublin, Ireland. Together with nearby Drumcondra railway station, the station operated from 1901 to 1910 on the Drumcondra and North Dublin Link Railway line between Amiens Street (now Connolly) station and Islandbridge. While Drumcondra station re-opened in 1998, Glasnevin's platform was demolished in 1916. Some of the station's red-bricked outbuildings are incorporated into the former Porterhouse North pub on Whitworth Road.As of 2019, it was proposed to open a new station at Glasnevin, close to (but not on) the site of the former GS&WR station. These proposals, published in early 2019, called for a station to be built between the Western Commuter and South Western Commuter lines (on the site of the Brian Boru pub) as part of the MetroLink project. As of 2021, no dates for the MetroLink project were published.

The Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin is a private hospital in Glasnevin, Dublin, Ireland. The hospital is part of Bon Secours Mercy Health. This includes sister hospitals in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Tralee. The hospital employs over 140 consultants and sees more than 130,000 patients per year.

Cabra (Irish: Cabrach) is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2017 as a stop on Luas Cross City, an extension of the Green Line through the city centre from St. Stephen's Green to Broombridge. The stop provides access to the neighbourhood of Cabra and the National Botanic Gardens.

Dalymount Park (Irish: Páirc Cnocán Uí Dhálaigh) is a football stadium in Phibsborough on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. It is the home of Bohemian F.C., who have played there since the early 20th century. Affectionately known as Dalyer by fans, it was also historically the "home of Irish football", holding many Irish internationals and FAI Cup finals. It has also hosted UEFA Champions League qualifiers, UEFA Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup matches. However, the ground was largely undeveloped between the 1940s and the 2000s, and has now fallen out of use as a major venue, except for the home games of Bohemians. The ground has also been used as a home ground by other League of Ireland teams, including Shamrock Rovers, Dublin City F.C. and Sporting Fingal, and will be used by Shelbourne F.C. once it has been developed. However by February 2022, Shelbourne proposed the purchase of Tolka Park, and the cancellation of the plan to share Dalymount.

Ballygall (Irish: Baile na nGall, meaning 'townland (baile) of the Foreigners') is a small suburban area located between Glasnevin and Finglas, on the northside of the city of Dublin, Ireland. It is also a townland divided between the civil parish of Finglas and that of Glasnevin. It was settled by Vikings in the 11th century, and later by the Cambro-Normans. The area is largely residential, with St Kevins College, some shops, and a church and schools.

Balnagowan House also known as Wendon or Bealnagown House is a historic building in Glasnevin, Dublin. It is considered the first individual house built in the international style in Ireland.
