Bishop McDevitt High School was a private, comprehensive, co-educational Roman Catholic high school in the Wyncote community in Cheltenham Township, Pennsylvania, United States. It was located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Cheltenham High School is a public high school in the Wyncote neighborhood of Cheltenham Township, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, located 0.5 miles (800 m) from the border of the City of Philadelphia and 12 miles (19 km) from Center City. Serving grades 9 through 12, Cheltenham is the only high school in the School District of Cheltenham Township. It is fed by Cedarbrook Middle School, the only school in the school district for grades 7 and 8. Cheltenham High School was established in 1884 and is one of the oldest public high schools in Pennsylvania. The first location was on Ashbourne Road, and at the time of its closing in 1953, it was considered the oldest public school site in continuous use. The next building was at High School Road and Montgomery Avenue in Elkins Park. The current Cheltenham High School located at 500 Rices Mill Road in Wyncote was built in 1959. It sits on a land area of approximately 47 acres, and is bound by Route 309, Route 152, Panther Road, Rices Mill Road, Carlton Avenue, and Old Mill Road. In 2017–18 the student ethnicity was distributed as follows: 54% Black, 31% White, 8% Asian, and 5% Hispanic. The school has approximately 1400 students in grades 9 through 12, with a student-teacher ratio of about 12:1.Cheltenham's athletic teams are known as the Cheltenham Panthers and are members of the PIAA District 1 in the American Conference of the Suburban One League. They have a long-standing tradition of holding a Thanksgiving Day football game against their cross-town rival, Abington Senior High School. The rivalry celebrated its 100th year in 2015. Among the school's notable alumni are the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, his older brother Yoni Netanyahu, their class of 1964 classmate baseball Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson, talk radio host Mark Levin, 15-time Grammy Award winner Michael Brecker, and rapper Lil Dicky.

Arcadia University is a census-designated place located in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is located just off campus at Arcadia University and off Pennsylvania Route 309. As of the 2010 census the population was 595 residents. With 10,438 people per square mile, Arcadia University is the most densely populated census-designated place in Montgomery County and 33rd most densely populated census-designated place in the U.S. It is one of only two places in Montgomery County that has over 10,000 people per square mile (the other is Conshohocken). This is attributed to the land area consisting mostly of college dormitories. Arcadia University is home to National Historic Landmark Grey Towers Castle which serves as the main administration building for Arcadia University.

Glenside Memorial Hall often abbreviated "Glenside Hall" is a historic meeting hall located in the Philadelphia suburb of Glenside, Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Glenside Hall was built in 1926, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, T-shaped, red-brick Colonial Revival-style building with limestone trim. It sits on a raised stone foundation and has a slate-covered gable roof. It was to honor the veterans of World War I. Today, it is used primarily for banquets, meetings, and other social events. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Grey Towers Castle is a building on the campus of Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania, which is located in Cheltenham Township, a suburb of Philadelphia, United States. The castle was designed by Horace Trumbauer and built starting in 1893 on the estate of William Welsh Harrison. The university (then known as Beaver College and located in nearby Jenkintown) purchased the estate in 1929 for $712,500, equal to $12,142,878 today. Classes were split between the two locations until 1962, when the school moved all of its operations to the Glenside area. The castle was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1985 for its architecture.

The Reconstructionist Rabbinical College (RRC) is a Jewish seminary in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. It is the only seminary affiliated with Reconstructionist Judaism. It is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. RRC has an enrollment of approximately 80 students in rabbinic and other graduate programs.A 2012 restructuring of the Reconstructionist movement's institutions left RRC as the primary organization of the movement, headed by Rabbi Deborah Waxman. This central organization changed its name to "Reconstructing Judaism" in January 2018. — the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College remains part of this organization.

Cedarbrook is an unincorporated community in Cheltenham Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. Cedarbrook is located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 309 and Greenwood Avenue, just over the city line of Philadelphia. Cedarbrook is home to the Cedarbrook Shopping Center, a major shopping attraction for many Cheltenham Township and North Philadelphia shoppers.

The Won Institute of Graduate Studies is a Private graduate school founded by members of the Korean Won Buddhist order and located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. It is the only institutionally accredited graduate school in Pennsylvania for Won Buddhist Studies, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. The Won Institute of Graduate Studies is the only educational center for Won Buddhist Studies recognized by the Won Buddhist order outside of South Korea. It offers a certificate program and master's program in Won Buddhist Studies. The school also offers professional doctorate, master's, and certificate programs in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. The institute maintains on-site acupuncture clinics: professional, student, community, veteran's and a Chinese herbal medicine clinic. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Arcadia University is a private university in Glenside, Pennsylvania. The university enrolls approximately 3,200 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. The 94-acre (380,000 m2) Glenside campus features Grey Towers Castle, a National Historic Landmark; the university also includes a campus in Christiana, Del., as well as several centers around the world.

Glenside station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station along the SEPTA Main Line, located at the intersection of Easton Road and Glenside Avenue in Glenside, Pennsylvania. It is served by the Warminster Line and the Lansdale/Doylestown Line, both of which split at Carmel Junction immediately west of Glenside station. The station is not wheelchair-accessible, but has a ticket office. The first train from the station departs at 4:29 A.M, while the last train arrives at the station at 1:03 A.M. The station is relatively busy with a train arriving at least every 30 minutes, even at non-peak hours. Glenside is also well-served by the Airport Line, as the majority of Warminster Line trains run through to and from Philadelphia International Airport. A few Airport Line trains originate or terminate at Glenside, often using the siding at the west end of the inbound platform. In 2013, the station had 1064 average weekday boardings and 1,197 average weekday alightings.There is a ticket office and waiting room at Glenside, which is open on weekdays and sells tickets until early afternoon. An espresso bar named Elcy's Cafe has been operating in the station since 2000.

The Curtis Arboretum is a 45-acre (18 ha) arboretum in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. The arboretum was founded by Mary Louise Curtis Bok in honor of her father, Cyrus Curtis. The landscaping was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. The arboretum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Milmoral, also known as the H.G. Fetterolf House, John & Elizabeth Eagleson House and Ruth Nissen House, is a historic home located at Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The house was built in 1905–06, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five-bay, L-shaped dwelling in the Colonial Revival style. It is built of Wissahickon schist and was remodeled and enlarged in 1912. The house features a hipped roof, wraparound porch supported by Doric order columns. Also on the property are a contributing stable / carriage house and greenhouse.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
