Aeroport District (Russian: райо́н Аэропо́рт, rayon Aeroport, "Airport District") is an administrative district (raion) of the Northern Administrative Okrug and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 4.58 square kilometers (1.77 sq mi). The district is named for the Khodynka Aerodrome, which closed in 2003. The Aeroport Metro Station opened in the district in 1938.

It was central venue of the All-Soviet Dynamo sports society and carried special name of Central to denote its importance. Until the construction of the Central Lenin Stadium in 1956, the Central Dynamo Stadium was the central sports facility in Moscow. The stadium was one of the venues of the football tournament of the 1980 Summer Olympics.A new stadium was built on the same spot and is named VTB Arena.

Dinamo (Russian: Дина́мо) is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya line. It opened on 11 September 1938 as part of the second stage of the system. It was named for the former Dinamo Stadium, the home stadium of FC Dynamo Moscow. Passengers may transfer directly to the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line via Petrovsky Park station. It was the deepest station in Moscow Metro from 1938 until 1944.

The Dynamo Minor Arena is a sports venue in Moscow, Russia that is located near neighboring Dynamo Stadium. Constructed in 1928, but renovated in 1979 in time for the 1980 Summer Olympics, it hosted the field hockey tournament. The stadium is located in the Park of Sport Complex Dynamo along with Dynamo Grand Arena, Dynamo Manage (indoor field), Dynamo Hockey School, and other sports facilities.

The Young Pioneers Stadium (Russian: Стадион Юных пионеров) was a sports complex built in the Soviet Union, intended exclusively for children and youth training, the largest in Europe of this kind. It was located in Moscow. First built at the location in 1926 was a football stadium named after Mikhail Tomsky, used by FC Pishcheviki Moscow that had room for 13,000 spectators. Many other sports buildings were built around the stadium as part of a complex from 1932 to 1934 and included two volleyball grounds, five tennis courts, a cycling track, an indoor ice skating rink, as well as several indoor gyms and choreography halls. Besides that, an Indoor Athletics Area was built there in 1968. The site was reconstructed in 1980 to comply with Olympic standards and the football stadium (capacity 5,000) was used as a venue of the field hockey tournament at the 1980 Summer Olympics, including the final. After that, the complex was again the seat of the Central Children's Training and Competition Complex with more than 2,000 children regularly practicing sports. In post-Soviet Russia, when many children's sports schools and sections around the country had been closed, the complex was used primarily for other purposes. It was demolished in 2016 to make way for a church. At the time of its demolition, it is used by the Moscow Youth Football League.

Leningradsky Prospekt (Russian: Ленингра́дский проспе́кт), or Leningrad Avenue, is a major arterial avenue in Moscow, Russia. It continues the path of Tverskaya Street and 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street north-west from Belorussky Rail Terminal, and changes the name once again to Leningradskoye Highway past the Sokol metro station. The Highway continues its way to Saint Petersburg via Tver (not unlike Moskovsky Avenue in Saint Petersburg, which is named after, and leads to, Moscow). Until 1957, Leningradsky Prospekt was part of Leningrad Highway (Petersburg Highway prior to 1924). Both avenues retain their Lenin-related names after the reinstatement of the historical Saint Petersburg name.

It is a developer of ground-based over-the-horizon radar systems for missile and space defense, as well as control lines and functional interaction of radars with aerospace strike systems of high-precision weapons. It was founded on August 13, 1946.

The Yar (Russian: Яр, from French "yard") was a restaurant and theatre in 19th Century Moscow frequented by Pushkin, Tolstoy, Chekhov and Maxim Gorky. It was famous for its Sokolovsky gypsy choir. The Yar ran from 1826 to 1925 on the street known as Kuznetsky Most.The second Yar was opened on the St. Petersburg chaussée built by Adolf Erichson 1909-1913. The restaurant became popular among Russian elite. It was visited by Leonid Andreev, Konstantin Balmont, Anton Chekhov, Maxim Gorky, Alexander Kuprin, Savva Morozov, Grigory Rasputin, and Fyodor Shalyapin.The current Yar is in the Sovietsky Hotel on Leningradsky Prospect (Moscow).
